Alien craft poured out of the large ship and slammed into the Saiyan world. A small, thin Saiyan roared, "Damn them. They have no respect."
Hundreds of ships flew straight for the Saiyan palace. A Saiyan messenger rushed in. "Your Majesty, Lord Kuld's ship has arrived."
King Vegeta said through clenched teeth, "I see them."
The Ginyu Special Force and Shambo touched down first.
The ship bay opened and King Kuld descended with Frieza and his officers.
"Long time no see, King Vegeta," King Kuld greeted.
"King Kuld, welcome to our country," replied King Vegeta.
King Kuld gestured to Frieza. "Let me introduce my son, Frieza."
King Vegeta dropped to a knee. "Honored to meet you, Lord Frieza."
Frieza said, "Likewise. Please take care of us."
King Kuld patted Frieza and said, "This is sudden, but I have decided to retire. From now on the legion will be led by Frieza."
"Nothing will change, Saiyans only need follow Frieza's orders."
"If anyone dares to disobey, Frieza will be even harsher than I ever was."
Frieza smiled. "I have high expectations for all the Saiyans."
"To celebrate my accession, I brought new battle gear."
"This is a newly developed combat scanner."
Frieza put a device over his eye.
"It shows an opponent's position and power level, and supports real-time communication."
"It even lists conversation range."
"It looks like several Saiyans nearby are aiming their weapons at us."

King Vegeta stepped down from the dais and saw an infant in a special pod. It was Broly.
"Who is this brat? Why is he in the special pod?"
The Saiyan in charge hurried over. "This child is Broly, son of Colonel Paragus."
"Because his latent power is unusual, we—"
"Are you telling me his power could match my son?" King Vegeta snapped.
The Saiyan checked the scanner again. "Your Majesty, Broly's readings exceed the prince's."
King Vegeta exploded. "The prince's value is highest, you must be wrong!"
After rescanning, the officer reported, "Your Majesty, Broly's combat value cannot be underestimated. With training he could be a core of our forces, maybe even become a Legendary Super Saiyan."
King Vegeta snorted and swept his sleeve, leaving.
When Paragus heard this he barged into the palace. "Your Majesty, I heard you plan to put my son Broly on a ship and send him to a border planet?"
King Vegeta replied coldly, "That is correct."
Paragus protested, "Guarding the border is the job of lower-ranked fighters!"
King Vegeta answered, "If he grows strong enough to conquer planets, and becomes a powerful warrior, we can take the planet and sell it for a profit."
"That is the warrior spirit of the Saiyans."
Paragus protested, "Wampa Planet, where you intend to send Broly, has no humans and is extremely hostile. Selling it for a high price is impossible."
King Vegeta was impatient. "Your son's latent power is abnormally high, it could be a sudden mutation."
"If one day his mind can't stay stable, he could bring disaster to the Vegeta forces."
