Chapter 46 - "The Assassin's Grief and the Three Beasts"

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

WTF!!!

Wang De Fa? (What the actual—?)

Everyone across the countless worlds of the multiverse froze in disbelief as the timid, bespectacled, softhearted girl, Sheele, was bitten cleanly in half by the rampaging Hundred-Armed Titan on the glowing screen.

Wait—wasn't this supposed to be a healing anime?

Weren't we here to watch cute girls kick ass and mow down bad guys?

What the hell, man?! They're killing people off already?!

"Nooo! Sheele! My Sheele! My airheaded, white-silk, cheongsam-wearing, glasses goddess!"

Sanji from the Straw Hat crew threw his head back and howled in anguish, tears pouring down his face.

"A beauty… eaten by a beast! I can't—ugh, I can't look at this! Someone take it away! Get it off the screen!"

From the Gintama world, Gintoki waved his hands wildly, his expression lifeless and full of despair.

"Miss Sheele was such a kind soul," Tanjiro murmured, his voice heavy with sorrow. "Even when she knew she was going to die, she still fought for her friends… lighting the way forward for them."

"In the end, kindness was her undoing," Tsunade sighed, shaking her head. "That guard, Seryu, might've been twisted in the head, but she wasn't evil. Because of that, Sheele held back instead of finishing her off—and paid for it."

"The assassin's world is cruel," Reborn muttered. "Once you step into it, you have to be ready to give up certain things, little girl."

"Yeah," someone else added softly. "The world of killers really is merciless."

"The path to becoming a hero… it's never easy."

"Tanjiro fights literal demons. Akame and her crew fight monsters wearing human skin."

"No matter which path you take, it's all the same—danger, blood, and pain. We were too naive to think otherwise."

For the first time, everyone watching across the heavens and myriad worlds began to understand.

The world of Akame ga Kill! might not be any less brutal than Demon Slayer—a world full of demons who devour humans.

Meanwhile — in the world of Akame ga Kill

Night Raid's new base.

"Sheele! Sheele! Waaaah!"

Mine, the pink twin-tailed loli, collapsed into tears, sobbing uncontrollably after witnessing Sheele die right before her eyes—saving her.

"It's okay, Mine," Sheele said softly, patting the girl's trembling back. There wasn't even a flicker of fear or regret in her voice, though she knew her death was near.

"We can't let this happen again!" Tatsumi shouted, fists clenched tight.

"What do you think you're doing?! Calm down, Tatsumi!"Brand, the spiky-haired "big brother" of the group, grabbed him before he could bolt off in anger.

"Don't worry, big bro. I won't act rashly," Tatsumi said through gritted teeth. "But now that we know Sheele's going to die at the hands of that guard, there's no way we can just sit by and watch! We have to change her fate!"

"Exactly," Najenda, the white-haired boss, nodded. "But we'll plan our move later. For now, record everything that comes next. It might decide all of our futures."

Sheele—the kind, airheaded, bespectacled girl—was dead.

Her loss hit Night Raid like a hammer to the chest.

But… life had to go on.

All they could do now was carry her will and fight twice as hard.

Soon enough, a new mission came in.

They were to protect a skilled civil official and capture the imposters posing as Night Raid members who were causing chaos across the capital.

Tatsumi and Brand were paired up, boarding a massive luxury dragon ship near the outskirts of the Empire—Brand cloaked in his armor's invisibility.

"Man," Sanji groaned from the One Piece world, fists trembling, "it's just armor! And it can turn invisible?! Do you know what I'd do for that power? That bastard Brand's probably using it to peek on Akame, Sheele, and Mine while they bathe! Ugh! I need that armor!"

THUD!

"Enough!"Nami's iron fist of justice came down hard, flattening him to the deck.

In the world of Konosuba—

"Hehe, something's fishy," Kazuma smirked. "Why's Brand blushing when he looks at Tatsumi? Could it be…?"

"The love… between men?"Darkness and Megumin's breathing grew heavier as their imaginations ran wild.

And they weren't the only ones.

Across the multiverse, countless fujoshi were already losing their minds—scribbling fanart and inventing scenarios faster than lightning.

Back to the light screen—

Tatsumi and Brand, one in the shadows and one in plain sight, continued their mission.

Then—a flute sounded.A haunting melody echoed through the dragon ship.

The enemies had arrived.

Three Imperial Arms users under Esdeath's command—the Three Beasts.

That flute? It was one of their Imperial Arms. Its power sapped the strength of anyone who heard it.

Hssssss…

Gasps rippled across the multiverse.

"Oh crap, this isn't looking good!"

"Last time, Mine and Sheele went two-on-one and still got one of them killed. This time it's basically one-on-three!"

"Tatsumi's strong, but these are Imperial Arms users we're talking about!"

"He doesn't even have an Imperial Arm himself. He's at a huge disadvantage—and the enemy already got the first strike with a weakening ability!"

"Wait… if we line up the roles, Tatsumi's kind of like Tanjiro, right? So that makes Brand the Rengoku of this world…"

"Oh no. Don't tell me—are we about to watch another big brother fall?"

"As the ancient saying goes—When the big brother ascends to heaven, his power knows no bounds!"

"..."
