"Hey, Orion. We've arrived," Louise called softly, a warm smile curving his lips as he leaned closer. His face was only inches away from Orion's, who was fast asleep with his head resting comfortably on Louise's hand.
Louise had caught Orion's head just in time before it could hit the car window during a bump on the road. Since then, he hadn't dared to move, not wanting to disturb him. His hand had gone completely numb, but he endured it anyway.
"We've arrived?" Orion mumbled groggily as he slowly opened his eyes, blinking against the car's soft interior lights. He sat up, stretching his arms and letting out a quiet yawn. "Finally. After a hundred years."
Without wasting another moment, Louise stepped out of the car and immediately began stretching his sore arm. He winced slightly as he tried to restore circulation to his numb hand, flexing his fingers with a sigh of relief.
