"One strike. Let's settle this!"
Bathed in dazzling radiance, Yuzhou stood enveloped in brilliant light. Even the Giga Battlenizer in his hand was transformed by that radiance—its former deep-blue, jet-black form shifting into a resplendent gold.
"So powerful…"
Marie gazed at Yuzhou, her eyes filled with admiration.
At this moment, Yuzhou looked exactly like the legendary hero who would descend from the heavens when the Land of Light faced extinction.
"Shining Zeperion Ray!"
The power of light surged through Yuzhou's arm and poured into the Giga Battlenizer. From its opposite end, a golden beam erupted forth, blasting straight toward Alien Empera.
The instant the beam was released, Yuzhou stomped heavily on the spot, shattering the crystal ground beneath his feet. Carrying boundless radiance, he swung the staff horizontally and charged forward.
Alien Empera attempted to resist. He hastily raised a barrier to block the beam—but with a sharp crack, the shield shattered instantly under its overwhelming force.
The golden light slammed directly into his body.
Gritting his teeth, Alien Empera forcibly endured the beam and, summoning the last of his strength, charged forward to clash head-on with Yuzhou.
A thunderous clash of metal rang out.
The Giga Battlenizer smashed against Alien Empera's violet energy blade. Its momentum did not diminish in the slightest—it broke straight through the defense, carrying blazing brilliance as it struck Alien Empera squarely in the abdomen.
"Ugh…"
Alien Empera stared down in disbelief, then dropped to one knee.
He slowly reached out with one hand, as if trying to grasp something in the void.
"Light…"
With that final cry, his body disintegrated into particles, scattering and fading into the cosmos.
"We did it!" Ken shouted excitedly upon seeing this scene. "Alien Empera's invasion—ends here!"
"Yes… it's finally over."
Belial slowly stood up as well. Watching Yuzhou, still shining with radiant light, his eyes were filled with unmistakable envy.
"So this is… the power of light."
…
In the days that followed, Yuzhou remained in the Land of Light, waiting for the possible appearance of the golden man—Tartarus.
Because of Yuzhou's intervention, the history of this parallel Land of Light had already diverged from its original path. Whether Tartarus would still appear and abduct Belial remained uncertain.
With Yuzhou's assistance, all invading monsters and alien forces were completely eliminated, ushering the Land of Light into a period of peace.
Compared to Earth in Yuzhou's own universe—where darkness constantly encroached—the Land of Light was inhabited entirely by Ultramen. Even if monsters appeared, they were swiftly dealt with.
No lingering disasters remained.
After spending some time among the Ultramen of the Land of Light, Yuzhou finally revealed his name to them—
Tiga.
At this point in history, the Ultramen of the Land of Light knew nothing about the Ancient Giants of Light from other dimensions. They did not know who Tiga truly was.
They only knew that Yuzhou's name was Tiga.
"Tiga, Belial, Marie! I have good news!"
One day, atop a tall building in the Land of Light, Belial, Marie, and Yuzhou were chatting when Ken suddenly flew over, visibly excited.
"Oh?" Yuzhou asked with a smile. "What's got you so happy?"
After spending time together, Yuzhou had grown quite close to the young Father of Ultra and Belial.
Ken stopped in front of Yuzhou and spoke earnestly.
"The hard-won peace of the Land of Light has made the Council realize something. They believe this universe needs a dedicated force to safeguard it."
"So," Ken continued, "after deliberation, the Council wishes to appoint Tiga as the commander of the newly established Space Garrison."
"…What?"
Yuzhou was completely stunned.
All of this—led to him being chosen as the commander of the Space Garrison?
If he accepted, wouldn't that mean people might eventually call him the Father of Ultra?
"But I'm not a citizen of the Land of Light," Yuzhou said, confused. "Didn't I tell you? I come from Earth in another dimension. I'm not an Ultraman of this world."
"The Council knows," Ken nodded. "That's why they said you can be granted official citizenship and become a member of the Land of Light."
"…Unbelievable."
Yuzhou was utterly speechless.
To keep him, the Ultraman Council was willing to go this far—even granting him citizenship in the Land of Light.
"So, Tiga," Ken said happily, "from now on, you'll be the commander of the Space Garrison!"
"If Tiga is the commander, I agree."
Belial spoke up from the side.
To be honest, Belial would never accept just anyone in that role.
But Tiga was different.
Though not from the Land of Light, Tiga had still stepped in during its darkest hour—saving both Ken and Belial.
He had defeated the invading Alien Empera with overwhelming, unquestionable power.
That alone earned Belial's complete respect.
More importantly, when Belial was on the brink of death, it was Tiga who saved him.
Belial felt nothing but gratitude toward Yuzhou.
Tiga had given him the chance to fight Empera and awaken the hidden power within his body.
And because of that battle, Belial and Marie had grown closer.
After all, Belial had nearly lost his life protecting Marie.
If not for Yuzhou's presence, Belial would have survived—at best—with grievous consequences.
This left Yuzhou feeling rather conflicted.
In the future he knew, Ken and Marie were destined to become Father of Ultra and Mother of Ultra—a legendary pair.
But now, Belial had taken a blade for Marie and won her affection.
Belial had liked Marie from the beginning, and now the two had clearly diverged from the original course of history.
Yuzhou had no intention of forcibly "correcting" history by breaking them apart.
Especially since this was a parallel universe.
Even if history changed, it would not affect his own world.
Because this was another reality entirely.
"Well… I won't be taking the position of Space Garrison commander."
Yuzhou waved his hand and declined the offer.
He was merely a traveller. He would not remain in this parallel Land of Light forever.
"Instead," Yuzhou added, "I suggest Belial and Ken serve as co-commanders."
"With the two of you working together, the Space Garrison will surely become renowned throughout the universe as a symbol of peace."
