Heukjin's POV
"They can't stand the fact that you're easily loved without having to try."

I have always been angered by that fact.
'Sehyun's such a loveable kid, he's not meant to be part of this corrupt world.'
'Sehyun's a brilliant kid, he's definitely going to thrive in whatever he wishes to do.'
Sehyun this, Sehyun that….. it has always been something positive about him.
It made me curious—curious to know what was so special about him that wouldn't make them say a few sentence without rubbing how innocent Sehyun was on my face.
But now…. This innocent kid was wrapped up around my fingers. He was unwilling to do anything without my being around him.
This innocent kid is now being stained with me.
It was satisfying watching him do something that wasn't close to innocence. It was mind fulfilling seeing him react delightfully to my touches…seeing him beg and squirm.
This innocent kid was now mine. No…. He had always been mine.
Therefore, I wouldn't let his thoughts be clouded with any other aside mine. I wouldn't let other people affect him aside I.
Those degenerates didn't seem to keep their mouths shut. A warning didn't seem to let them know their place.
That was why I was going to punish them instead. All of them. Not sparing a single one.
"Are you feeling sleepy?" I asked Sehyun who was currently laying on my thigh his arms wrapped around me.
"No…" he mummured almost inaudibly his eyes barely able to remain open. I pick out the fallen petals that had found their way in his hair and gently smoothed his hair. "Head back inside first, don't be stubborn."
We were seated on a bench by the path of cherry blossoms. Hours had passed yet he stubbornly refused to leave.
Was watching flowers fall such an enthralling sight?
"First? What about Sensei?" Came his muffled reply.
My lips quirked up. "I have something to do, i don't want to disturb Sehyun."
"I don't want to…" he wrapped his arm tighter around me.
"It's cold outside, Sehyun has to be in school tomorrow. It's past 2 am."
He mumbled something incoherent but I faintly guessed he still didn't want to leave.
"If that be the case…"
I gathered him in my arms with one swift movement and carried him to the car. I pulled the door open and dropped him in the passenger seat despite his protests.
He gripped my wrist his hazy eyes filled with defiance. "I don't want to leave."
God, he looked fucking hot.
I cupped his face and kissed him.
It was supposed to be a brief one but the way his lips softened beneath mine was irresistible.
My hands moved to tangle with his hair as my tongue explored his hot tavern. Every kiss with him felt different and everytime it become harder to let him go.
I feel his hands wrap around my neck a breathy whimper escaping his lips.
He was becoming bolder with his actions and it was such a huge turn on for me.
Surprisingly.
But….
I pulled back slightly my breath growing heavier. "Sleep now…" I breathed against his slightly swollen lips.
He gave a jerky nod obviously torn between sleep and desire. I leaned in kissing the corner of his lips.
He was making this really worth my time.
I closed the door after bucking his seatbelt and took out my phone dialing Dabeum's number.
"Heukjinie!"
I frowned upon hearing Yeonwoo's crisp voice. "Why are you picking up? Where's Dabeum?"
He snorted. "That promiscuous thing has it going with a pettie girl, he didn't want any distractions so…."
Only then did I hear the noisy background. That dumbass isn't present whenever I need him.
"Why did Heukjinie call? Do you want his service? Should I call him out? I don't care if he's buried deep within that whore I'd dig him out for you." His voice had dropped into a whisper low and undeniably seductive.
I let out a low hum. "Actually, it's something Yeonwoo can handle for me also."
He shrieked with excitement. "Really? Heukjinie needs my help? Shoot away! I'm listening."
"I need to give a bunch of kids a scare… I'd send their names and contact info over now, handle it your way."
I could tell he had a sly smirk on his face. "A little scare huh, enough to land them in the hospital?"
"I said a little! Just get them to keep their mouths shut. Teach them a few good manners." He chuckled apologetically but I know he was going to go overboard.
I didn't care. That was exactly why I had him handle it.
"Take care of it soon." I made to hang up but he hurriedly spoke up again. "Before you go, when are you coming over? It's been months since I saw you last. It's boring with you here, Dabeum that fool does nothing but sleep around. Staying with him is making me lose my mind."
"I'm busy." I replied flatly.
"Ohh…." I could hear the disappointment in his voice but I couldn't care less.
"Then, when you're less busy, make sure to come over. I'll whip something up for you."
"Mn."
I cut the call and shoved the phone in my pants. I walked back to the car and got in.
He was fast asleep.
I shifted closer to him my hand sweeping slightly across his skin my eyes sparkling with obsession.
"You belong to me Sehyun, till I'm done with you."
**At Dawn.
I woke up to the sound of a loud groan.
"Is this broken??"
I sat up slowly relaxing my eyes to get them adjusted to the darkness.
The light had been cut off??
Did I forget to pay for it or was it a thing with the redevelopment?
The latter seemed plausible.
My hands did the searching as my eyes refused to get accustomed to the dark. Once I slid on the glasses, I walked outside with careful steps.
How does Sehyun cope here?
Living in such a dark place.
As I stepped outside, I was met with jars of white substance. "What's this?"
I walked past the jars searching for Sehyun. I was more curious to know what he was up to by this time.
I found him outside running breathlessly towards me….no, he was headed behind me.
I turned watching as he picked what seemed to be a timer. He let out a muffled groan and dropped the timer running past me again.
D-did I get ignored?
My head snapped towards his fading back. He probably didn't notice I was here….
I waited patiently for him to return.
He came running back minutes later more exhausted than before his legs and arms struggling to remain in rhythm.
He ran past me again to check the timer. This time, he sank to the floor laying sprawled on the floor—his eyes spiritless.
To have made him look so defeated…
"What are you doing?" I questioned my voice a bit sharp.
"Sensei…."
He finally casted me a glance. A weak exhausted one.
"I think there's something wrong with this timer… no matter how fast I run, I always end up with exactly 10 minutes 39.5 seconds." He looked like he was about crying.
I crouched down collecting the timer from him. It was old but not malfunctioning.
I clear my throat once I'd gotten the gist. "So, what are you doing with a timer?"
He tried sitting up but perhaps he was overexerted, he ended up on the ground. He finally gave up. "I've decided, I'm not going to be Sensei's assistant, I want to take part in the hundred metre race."
My jaw dropped.
Shock carved on my face.
Believe me, I lost all composure.
This frail thing??! He was really unpredictable.
"Sehyun…."
"I want to try." He blurted stopping my words before they formed.
"Take on something I've never done. Sensei, I've given it a thought. Those students, they look down on me because they feel I can't do anything else aside what I usually do without receiving help.
I want to become independent, so in the future, I would be able to stand on my own even without Sensei by my side."
"What?" Did he wake up on the wrong side of the bed??
Seeing the shock on my face, he let out a half laugh.
"I'm just messing around. I don't even have an inkling of idea as to why they loathe me so I am going to stop caring. Just like Sensei said."
His words started becoming comprehensible. I waved the timer. "Then why?"
He finally sat up. "It's just like I said earlier. I want to try something I've never done nor considered before."
He gazed up at the brightening sky his eyes glinting with the enthusiasm of youthfulness. "I want to leave my safe zone."
