Chapter 153 - Chapter 153: Galactic Patrol Headquarters

After the farce finally came to an end, Beerus and Whis returned to their room to rest, while Bulma continued practicing flight in the courtyard.

After blowing up Earth once before, she was far more cautious this time.

By the early hours of the morning, the night had grown exceptionally quiet.

Suddenly, a crisp and cheerful voice rang out from the sky above

"Gran, look! I'm flying!"

Bulma hovered more than ten meters above the ground.

Gran yawned and tilted his head up.

"Oh? That's great. Amazing~"

The girl really did have talent—but honestly, he was exhausted.

"You…!"

Absolutely infuriating. Bulma puffed out her cheeks in anger.

"Since you can fly now, then train properly. I'm going back to sleep."

Gran waved his hand and turned to leave with little Broly. After taking a few steps, he suddenly turned back and added:

"Oh, and don't blow up West City this time."

With that, he and little Broly walked off without another glance.

"Detestable Gran!"

Bulma hovered in midair, waving her pale little fists, looking ready to bite someone.

Only after Gran disappeared into the room did she finally stop shouting.

"…This feels kind of high."

Bulma looked down at the ground, her heart pounding wildly.

Everyone had already gone back to rest—it wouldn't be right to call them all back now.

"What do I do…?"

She clutched her chest, forcing herself to calm down.

The night breeze was cool. After a while, her nerves finally settled.

"…I think this is how it works."

Bulma followed her earlier sensation and carefully adjusted her ki.

Whoosh!

She shot up another ten meters.

"Ah—no, that's wrong! I need to pull back my ki!"

She struggled to rein it in, and at last, her body began descending.

The moment she landed, she jumped up excitedly.

"I, Bulma, am a genius!"

Far too energized to feel sleepy, she continued practicing the Flying Technique for the rest of the night.

The next day.

Gran stepped out of his room when a dark blur streaked past him.

He froze, rubbed his eyes—and there it was.

Bulma.

"Gran, look at me! I can fly now!"

She zipped smoothly through the air.

"That's impressive."

Gran was genuinely surprised.

Just one day—and she'd already reached this level of control.

Judging by her condition, she'd probably flown all night. Even Videl back then wasn't this good.

Then again…

The ki within her was stronger than that of many Saiyans. Flying for so long wasn't strange at all.

"Well? I'm amazing, right?"

Bulma floated in front of him, proudly lifting her snow-white chin.

From now on, she wouldn't need to be carried around like a chicken anymore.

"..."

Gran's mouth twitched.

"Yes. So impressive you could probably blow up Earth."

"You!!"

Bulma was so angry her chest heaved visibly.

Gran ignored her. After breakfast with little Broly in the dining hall, he prepared to leave Earth.

"Gran, where are you and Broly going?" Bulma hurried after him.

She had overheard last night's conversation in the dining hall and knew Gran wouldn't be training during the coming year.

"I'm going to take a look at the current state of the Galactic Patrol Headquarters."

Gran didn't hide it. After becoming a candidate God of Destruction for so long, he still hadn't visited the Galactic Patrol once.

The Galactic Patrol was an organization that assisted the Supreme Kai in managing the universe.

Take the brutal Moro, for example—after the Grand Supreme Kai sealed his magic back then, he was imprisoned in the Galactic Prison.

That alone showed how important the Galactic Patrol was.

Not to mention, there was also a trainee angel stationed there—Merus.

This visit was also meant to see how many Saiyans Paragus had gathered, and whether they had managed to "freeload" Merus' guidance.

After all, the Galactic Patrol directly influenced Universe Seven's Mortal Level.

Only if the Saiyans grew stronger could the universe be better managed.

"Galactic Patrol…?"

Bulma froze. The term sounded familiar.

Suddenly, a spark flashed in her mind.

"I remember now!"

"Remember what?"

Gran chuckled.

He already knew what she was about to say.

Sure enough

"My sister left Earth years ago with a Galactic Patrolman named Jaco!"

Bulma grew anxious as she spoke.

"She said she was collecting material for novels, but she still hasn't come back! Can you take me with you to find her?"

Gran fell silent.

"Gran… is that not okay?"

Bulma bit her red lip, clearly dejected.

She really missed her sister.

"Bringing along a burden like you—I'm honestly not too thrilled about it," Gran said bluntly.

"..."

You're the burden!

Bulma clenched the corner of her clothes, lowering her head.

"…Fine. Go ask Whis first. If he grants you the ability to survive in space, I'll take you along."

Gran sighed.

"That's great! I knew Gran was the best!"

Bulma flew straight into the dining hall.

Not long after

"Gran! I can survive in space now! Hurry and take me to find my sister!"

She flew out, brimming with excitement.

Gran blinked.

"How did you convince him?"

Bulma giggled.

"Didn't you say before that if I found a dish Whis had never tasted, he'd agree to anything?"

Gran covered his face.

Retribution.

This was karma.

"…Let's go."

"Thank you, Gran!"

Bulma quickly moved to his side.

Gran held little Broly's hand and had Bulma place hers on his shoulder.

With a whoosh

All three vanished instantly.

The Galactic Patrol Headquarters was located at the very center of Universe Seven.

A massive space station floated there, with spacecraft constantly coming and going.

That day, three figures appeared before it.

"Pretty grand," Gran remarked.

He scanned the station—it was enormous, even larger than Earth itself.
