Chapter 154 - Chapter 154: The Changes in Little Broly

"So this is the Galactic Patrol Headquarters?"

Bulma, being a scientist, was immediately fascinated by the massive space station before her.

"Enough talking. Let's go inside," Gran said curtly.

He led the two of them into the station.

As he walked, Gran observed the Galactic Patrol members around them. None of them resembled Jaco's tokusatsu-like appearance.

Some had canine heads, some feline; some had yellow skin, others blue—there was a wide variety of species among the Galactic Patrol.

However, their strength was all about the same as Jaco's.

"Looks like the entire Galactic Patrol is being held up by Merus alone," Gran muttered to himself.

That worked out perfectly. With the addition of the Saiyans, the situation of the Galactic Patrol could finally change.

Gran continued forward.

Ahead was a vast plaza inside the space station. It was enormous, and there were many extraterrestrials present.

They didn't bear the Galactic Patrol insignia—most likely visitors to the headquarters.

The arrival of Gran's group quickly drew attention from those gathered in the plaza.

"Who are they?"

"I just saw them appear at the station entrance. They didn't come by ship—there was no warning at all!"

"No way."

"It's true. Look at how they're dressed—they're not even wearing spacesuits. They're clearly a powerful race capable of surviving in the vacuum of space!"

"Now that you mention it… they look kind of like the Saiyans who joined the Galactic Patrol two years ago."

"Hey, look at that kid—he has a tail wrapped around his waist. They really are Saiyans!"

"But wait… since when could Saiyans survive in space?"

"..."

A chorus of murmurs reached Gran's ears.

He simply smiled and said nothing.

Bulma hummed smugly to herself.

Little Broly, meanwhile, scanned the surroundings, as if searching for someone.

Suddenly

A burly, flat-headed man strode across the plaza, cursing loudly as he walked.

"Damn Paragus! Planet Vegeta already blew up—why the hell does he still care about us?!"

"I don't know what happened to that guy. When he came back this time, he was ridiculously strong. One and a half million battle power—since when could a Saiyan reach that level?!"

The man passed by Gran's group.

Gran glanced at him. A tail was wrapped around the man's waist—clearly a Saiyan.

Judging from his aura, his power was around one thousand. His ki was violent and unrefined—he clearly hadn't been taught by Merus.

Looking again, Gran noticed the insignia on the man's battle armor: a dot crossed by a slanted lightning bolt.

The Galactic Patrol emblem—and it was freshly imprinted.

Combined with what the man had just said, the conclusion was obvious.

He was a Saiyan who had only recently been summoned back.

Suddenly

"Stop."

The voice didn't belong to Gran.

It was little Broly.

Gran turned to look at him—and noticed that the child no longer carried his usual innocent expression. In its place was the cold sharpness unique to a Saiyan.

"?"

The Saiyan halted.

His name was Haren.

With an annoyed tone, he snapped, "Hey, brat. Why are you calling me?"

Little Broly replied calmly, "You were just insulting my father."

Gran froze for a moment.

So it was about his father.

Now that was interesting.

"Daring to look at me like that… you're asking for death—"

Haren felt an inexplicable fear from the child's gaze and instinctively activated his scouter.

Bang!

The scouter hanging by his ear exploded instantly.

The commotion immediately drew the attention of everyone in the plaza. As they began scanning Gran's group—

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Explosions echoed nonstop.

Gran was a god—his power couldn't be detected.

But when the scouters tried to measure little Broly's power, they couldn't withstand it.

"Gulp…"

Everyone present swallowed hard.

The plaza fell into a terrifying silence.

"Y-you… who is your father?"

The color drained from Haren's face, turning deathly pale.

After being summoned back by Paragus, his scouter had been replaced.

That new model could detect up to two million battle power.

And yet—it had exploded.

What kind of power was this?!

"My father is Paragus," little Broly said expressionlessly.

"What?!"

Haren collapsed to the ground.

He had insulted someone's father—right in front of the man's own son.

This was over. He was finished.

Just as Haren believed death was inevitable

"Hmph. If I ever hear you insulting my father again, I will kill you."

Little Broly tugged gently at Gran's sleeve.

"Brother Gran, let's go."

Gran said nothing. He simply nodded and continued walking toward the front of the plaza.

Watching the three figures leave, Haren gasped for breath.

"I… I actually survived…"

The other extraterrestrials in the plaza were equally shaken.

So that child was Paragus's son.

Elsewhere.

Gran headed toward the technological complex ahead of the plaza.

"Broly, why didn't you kill him?" Gran asked.

"He didn't provoke me directly. Why would I kill him?"

Little Broly had already reverted to his usual innocent demeanor.

"But he insulted your father."

"Gran, I'm not the idiot I used to be. I know now—my father always wanted to use me."

His tone was calm, almost detached.

Gran stopped walking and looked at the boy carefully.

When they first went to Planet Vampa, little Broly could barely speak properly. His understanding of the world was nearly nonexistent.

As for his personality—dull, withdrawn, silent.

After two years together, he had completely changed.

He had grown lively and open. His understanding had matured.

"He really isn't that wooden little fool anymore," Gran said softly.

He rubbed Broly's head and continued forward.

At last, the three arrived at the technological building.

Inside was a grand hall.

Galactic Patrol members came and went, while many extraterrestrials were consulting staff.

The moment Gran stepped inside—

"Welcome, Lord Gran!"

A thunderous greeting echoed throughout the hall.

The sudden roar startled all the extraterrestrials who had been seeking assistance.

Bulma, who followed behind, felt her heart skip a beat.

What was going on?

Everyone looked ahead.

Standing at the front were three figures:

A red-faced burly man dressed in Supreme Kai–style attire,

A green octopus-like being,

And a Saiyan.

Behind that Saiyan stood more than a dozen subordinates.
