"Boom!"
A shattered wall flew from the hole made by the Abomination and slammed into the Hulk's body. Though the impact didn't even make him stagger, it still made the Hulk look rather disheveled.
"Hulk! Hahaha! Come fight me! Only you can fight me!"
With a burst of ground tremors, the scarred and monstrous Abomination laughed wildly as he emerged from the wreckage. He strode forward quickly, swinging a massive fist toward the Hulk.
But what met him was an even faster, heavier punch from the enraged Hulk.
"Boom—!"
Hulk's fist smashed into Abomination's face, sending him crashing back into the ruins of the broken building.
"Roar—!"
The Hulk extended his arms toward the gaping hole and roared furiously.
"Impossible! This is impossible!"
The Abomination burst out again, his rage almost blinding. He couldn't believe that after gaining godlike strength, he still couldn't match Hulk's speed.
But no matter how furious he became, he lacked Hulk's boundless rage. Hulk's strength only grew with his anger—something Blonsky could never match.
Before Abomination's next swing could land, Hulk seized both of his arms. With veins bulging across his thick, corded muscles, Hulk swung Abomination back and forth like a rag doll. Each slam made the earth shudder violently.
Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang.
"Roar!"
After several brutal blows, Hulk finally lost interest. With a roar, he grabbed the bony spines protruding from Abomination's back and hurled him skyward with all his might.
"So high!" Harry looked up from his glider, eyes wide.
The Abomination's massive form shrank into a distant speck, then began to plummet—growing larger in Hulk's furious gaze.
"Roar!"
As the Abomination fell, Hulk bellowed and lifted one massive leg.
"Boom!!!"
"Boom!!!"
With terrifying force, Hulk kicked the falling Abomination like a cannonball, sending his body hurtling parallel to the ground. The violent windstorm from the kick carved deep trenches into the street as the Abomination shot across it.
"Boom—!"
The Abomination crashed headfirst into the earth, gouging another massive crater into the shattered street.
"Impossible... Impossible…"
Half-buried in rubble, his head caked in dirt, Blonsky muttered in disbelief. For all his monstrous might, the danger in him had completely faded.
"Perfectly handled," Harry muttered, slightly disappointed that he hadn't even been needed.
Reaching out, he summoned his glider from a distance. A black streak cut through the dusty air as the board returned to him. Harry leapt lightly and landed on it. Glancing at his arm, he smiled faintly—the remote-control system Carl had designed worked flawlessly.
With a thought, the armor's mask extended over his face, and the glider began to lift off.
In a nearby helicopter—
"Great, he's fine! He's fine!" Betty Ross cried, tears flowing freely as she watched Hulk's towering figure on the monitor.
General Ross exhaled heavily, staring in silence, his mind a storm of regret.
He'd chased the dream of a super-soldier at all costs—and now all it had brought was destruction and estrangement from his daughter.
"Huh—" He sighed again, steadying himself before picking up the radio.
"Send in a recovery team. I want Blonsky brought back before anyone else gets him."
He meant S.H.I.E.L.D.—but his concern would prove unnecessary. Even though Nick Fury coveted the Abomination, the creature had been created under U.S. military command, and not even S.H.I.E.L.D. dared challenge that authority.
"General!" an officer suddenly shouted, snapping Ross out of his thoughts.
"What is it?" Ross barked, frowning.
"It's the Hulk," the officer said, pointing to the live feed.
"Roar—!"
Just as Harry was about to accelerate away, a thunderous roar erupted below him. His spider-sense flared instantly.
He jerked his glider upward—but too late.
"Clang—!"
A deafening impact sent the world spinning. Hulk's palm had grazed the edge of Harry's glider, and both boy and board went tumbling wildly through the air.
Harry crouched low, gripping both sides of the board with all his strength, fighting to stabilize it.
"Boom!"
Hulk landed with an earth-shaking crash.
"Damn!" Harry hissed, checking the warped metal edge beneath his hand. The glider's alloy was strong—any weaker, and the embedded micro-missiles might have exploded from the impact.
Apparently, Hulk had recognized him—and for the first time, real anger burned in Harry's chest.
"Roar—!"
Hearing that familiar roar again, Harry looked down to see Hulk crouched below, muscles bulging, preparing to leap.
Harry's vision darkened with fury. His pulse thundered. He wanted to hit back.
"Ahhh!" Harry roared as he dove from the sky like a missile, meeting Hulk's leap head-on.
Rage boiled through his veins. His ability—the Infinite Power of Anger—fed on that fury, flooding him with strength his body could barely contain.
But Harry didn't care. There was only Hulk—only the need to strike.
"Ahhh!"
"ROAR!!"
Their fists collided midair with a deafening crash. The invisible shockwave spread like a bomb blast.
From the helicopter, General Ross watched in disbelief through the window.
Someone—a human—was trading punches with the Hulk. Before he could even process it, the helicopter shook violently.
"What's happening?" he shouted toward the cockpit.
"Air turbulence, General!" came the reply.
Ross frowned. "Air turbulence...?" He turned back to look outside—
"Crack!" The sound of bone snapping echoed. Harry's body couldn't withstand the impact.
"Ahh!" He gritted his teeth, pain blazing through him, and swung his left arm with all his might.
"Drink!" He drove his fist into Hulk's massive one.
"Crack!" His left arm broke instantly—but the blow stopped Hulk's upward momentum.
"Roar—!"
With a final roar, Hulk's energy waned, and he dropped heavily toward the ground.
"Ha…" Harry exhaled through clenched teeth, springing upward despite the agony. He caught the edge of his glider as it hovered above and dragged himself aboard.
"When…" His boots hit the cold alloy, and he spat out blood. "Back to… Osborn…"
Before he could finish, his eyes rolled back, and he collapsed unconscious.
