Morning came and I had to force myself to get out of bed. I wasn't looking forward to meeting the Caldwells anymore but we had to be on our way soon.
Serena was in the shower and I was getting ready as well.
She came out wrapped in a towel, her hair was dripping, and smiled faintly when she looked at me. I was still half-dressed.
"You're ready already?" She asked.
I shrugged. "Almost."
She hummed softly, brushing past me to grab her clothes.
There was still a bit of awkwardness between us from last night, but neither of us wanted to mention it, which was an extremely good thing because I still didn't have a clear definition of what was going on between us.
By the time she was dressed.
We left the suite and made our way to the car waiting outside. The morning sun hit the driveway.
