Chapter 10 - Girl's Night Out! Yaa– AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Hands held over her bow, March walked behind the scary old man (well, being stoic never made him popular with the ladies – though a certain sub-genre of mentally unstable woman thinks otherwise, if you know you know, *wink*, *wink*). Stelle, swinging her bat haphazardly, constantly swung around, scared to be jumped at again.

"No need to worry, little ones. I've made sure that there are none of those black men standing present before me..."

Just as March was about to argue with him over it, she heard some blade grinding itself onto the floor before her. Just then, a Reaver was seen trudging from one of the rooms across the hallway. Seeing the trio, it raised its blade-melded hands.

"RAAAGGGHHH!"

"AAARRRGGGHHH!"

At the sudden charge, March couldn't help but scream in panic. Stelle dropped her bat, startled by the unexpected cry. Seeing that the Reaver was full-sending his blade towards them, March forgot that she had a bowl. Just before it pierced through them, it stopped, right in its tracks.

The sharp end of an umbrella could be seen jutting from its chest, right where its heart should be

Gazing up, she was met with the frozen face Dr. Killinger, stoic as ever. "Lesson one of war: Never turn your backs to your enemies..."

Folding back his umbrella, Killinger continued his way forward, unfazed by what he did. "Oh, and young miss, don't drop your bat after watching how awesome I am. Your enemies won't let go of you..."

Nodding their heads, March and Stelle made their way towards the room where slight moaning could be heard from...

March couldn't help but be amazed at the sight that stood in front of her:

Scattered before her were the ashes of the various Reavers, Distorters and Eliminators that stood in front of them, while those who still had a semblance of a figure remaining, twitched on the floor, their dying throes pathetic. Gingerly walking past the bodies, March closed onto Killinger as quickly as possible, determined not to lose him (as he was fucking strong!). "And by Akivili, could please stop poking their bodies!? They could blow up any moment now you know!"

Dragging the still squealing Stelle (who did try to grab one of the Reaver's skull as a morbid trophy of sorts), March marched onto Killinger, where he knelt before one of the injured researchers. "I...I know that I don't have long to live... So please...please...before I go, tell Sylvia... tell her I...always...loved her..."

"Oh you silly Billy, why don't you tell her yourself!"

And with a bright glow from his arms, the wound on the researcher's arm (and a very shiny head) began shaking, before, in front of her very eyes, they began closing. As she stood aghast, Killinger took out a lollipop from his bag. "Here. Suck on it for being a very good boy..."

As he finished treating his last patient, March couldn't stop herself from planting her face right in front of Killinger, stars present in her eyes. "WOOOW! How on earth did you do it!? Can I learn it as well!? Wait, wait, wait! March, don't get ahead of yourself: First, think of a cool name for yourself– Ahah, I got one – The greatest and Cutest Dr. Marchy Fixet–"

"I get your energy– but first, before you think about saving others, try saving yourself first. I sense something disturbing, something dark, dormant in your psyche..."
