Chapter 86 - Chapter 85: Obtaining the Power of the Snake and Resurrecting the Empress

"This place is great!"

Inside the Dragon Altar's inner space, Adam floated in midair, having just fallen from a massive height.

Luckily, he had used the Rooster Talisman's Levitation during the fall—otherwise, even his enhanced dragon body might've been wrecked by a ten-thousand-meter drop.

He looked around. A vast green plain stretched beneath his feet, and before him stood a colossal ancient tree that reached the heavens, its branches and leaves glowing faintly with green light.

Then—crack!

A lightning bolt, thicker than Dryad's waist, crashed into the ancient tree. The ancient trunk shuddered and released a deep, rumbling roar.

A massive dark-green python erupted from the tree, its bloody jaws wide open as it lunged straight for Adam.

"Good job!"

Adam raised his arm, fusing three elemental magics into a blazing spirit sword. The ten-meter-long python moved like lightning, its fangs nearly grazing his face.

"The secret of the Three Elements—Wind, Water, and Flame Demon Slash!"

Clang!

A brilliant golden slash split the python clean in two before it could even scream. Both halves crashed to the ground with a heavy thud.

But Adam's golden blade didn't stop there—the sword light continued, slicing the towering ancient tree clean through the middle.

Boom!

Thunder roared across the sky as the tree began to fall straight toward him.

"I'll chop, chop, chop!"

Adam's arms blurred like afterimages as countless sword slashes tore through the air. The ancient tree disintegrated into sawdust before it could even hit the ground.

A small tornado spun into Adam's palm, and with one wave, he sent a gust of wind that swept away every last piece of debris.

"The only god in this space," Adam smirked, "is gone."

Suddenly, a cold voice boomed across the sky.

"Intruder beyond destiny—taste the wrath of this world!"

Pitch-black clouds rolled across the heavens. The ground cracked and rumbled. Countless giant pythons burst from beneath the soil, their roars shaking the world.

"Good job!"

Adam dove into the air, slashing through the monstrous snakes one after another. Heads flew; their corpses fell like rain.

But no matter how many he cut down, more emerged endlessly from below.

His mana was reaching its limit.

"Roar!"

The remaining pythons raised their heads and began to merge together. The dark clouds gathered, thunder crackling. They were evolving—forming the shape of a true dragon.

"Haha! Now this is interesting."

The dragon's body glowed with lightning. Horns sprouted from its head as purple thunder surged around it. It roared, challenging Adam with all its might.

"Alright then—try this! The Ultimate Secret Art: Divine Punishment of Judgment!"

Adam lifted his spirit sword, and three elemental magic circles—Fire, Wind, and Water—appeared and began to spin around the blade.

Divine power erupted from his body as the power of eight zodiac talismans—Rat, Ox, Tiger, Dragon, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, and Pig—merged into his sword.

A golden magic circle appeared in the sky, engraved with the patterns of those eight beasts.

It expanded, covering the entire dimension.

Then came the thunder. The lightning dragon lunged with all its fury, a storm of violet light and destruction.

"Come down!"

Adam swung his sword, and a gigantic golden blade descended from the heavens. The golden light illuminated everything.

Snap!

The dragon's head flew off its neck. Its body turned to ash under its own lightning and was shattered completely by the radiant sword that followed.

One sword to open the heavens!

Adam controlled the colossal blade, slashing upward. The dark clouds split apart, thunder shattered, and golden light washed over the world.

His grimoire glowed brilliantly, and the snake-shaped sigil on its cover pulsed with golden light.

"I thought this one would make me play hide-and-seek," Adam said with a smirk.

"Didn't expect the Snake's Invisibility to come with this much flair."

Then he frowned. "Uh… why isn't the exit opening yet?"

Turning around, he noticed something—embedded in the fallen tree's cross-section was a crystal coffin.

"What's this?"

He flew over and saw a woman lying inside. Her pink hair shimmered faintly. She wore a white coat that accentuated her curves, black leather pants, and a black cloak that exuded quiet dominance.

"She's gorgeous," Adam muttered.

He pressed his hand on the coffin and used his mana to sense her condition.

What he didn't know was that this woman was Princia Funnybunny, the 11th Wizard King of the Clover Kingdom—the first female Wizard King, famed as the Undefeated Empress. Her Legion Magic could summon entire magical armies capable of matching nations in battle.

"Magic power can't penetrate…"

Adam sensed that her life force was frozen, not gone. She was sealed in an eternal slumber—awaiting a special power to awaken her.

"The power of the Rat…"

He smirked. Just like when Xiaoshui awakened. Time to use resurrection again.

"Witty Rat—grant me the power to restore life!"

Adam pointed toward the coffin. Golden light streamed into the crystal, unhindered by any seal.

"Where… is this?"

The woman's body glowed with golden light. Her fingers twitched, and with a powerful motion—crack!—the crystal coffin shattered apart.

"It's a small world," Adam said, watching her rise.

She had an aura of nobility and a chillingly regal air about her. A queen through and through.

Adam's eyes glimmered with curiosity. She feels like Mereoleona… cold on the outside, fiery inside. Definitely a contrast woman.

"Who are you?" Princia asked icily, her grimoire appearing in a flash, flying from the Clover capital straight into her hand.

"Hey! I'm the guy who just saved you, maybe try saying thank you first?"

"Saved me?" she asked sharply. Her gaze felt like blades cutting into him—looking down on him, judging him.

"Then take my punch."

Oh, great. Adam sighed. "This might get messy…"

Princia lunged—but her fist froze midair. She couldn't move forward.

The Rat Talisman's resurrection wasn't simple revival—it gave Adam complete control over what he restored.

"What did you do?" she said in disbelief.

No matter how she tried, it felt like an invisible wall separated her from him.

"Legion Magic…"

Princia summoned her magic soldiers, unwilling to believe that the first female Wizard King of Clover could be restrained by one man.

"Someone's coming. Don't talk!" Adam hissed.

He grabbed her hand and activated Snake Talisman: Invisibility.

The two vanished from sight.

A green door appeared out of nowhere. Click. The golden key outside turned, and the door slowly opened.

A middle-aged man with black hair streaked with green stepped out, holding the Imperial Sword of the Clover Kingdom.

"After resurrecting that woman," he said coldly, "our grand plan will begin."

"Yeah, I can't wait," replied a young man with messy white hair, followed by an old man with silver-white hair.

"Let's begin."

Adam and Princia hid in the shadows. His eyes widened as he looked at their robes—each bore the emblem of the Wizard King.

No way…

All three of them were former Wizard Kings of the Clover Kingdom.

He turned slowly to Princia, noticing the same badge stitched into her cloak.

"Oh, crap…" Adam whispered. "We've walked straight into the Wizard King's lair."
