Even though she wielded significant internal authority now, her official career status was nowhere near Skye's.
Shouldn't there at least be a process?Shouldn't she be vice president first?
Panicking, Riva shook her head vigorously. "No, no, Dan— I don't think I'm capable of such a position. Our company is in a period of rapid growth; we can't change leaders so lightly! You should be the one to lead us!"
