Yushan's POV
"I have one request," I said after staying quiet in his arms for a moment, letting the silence stretch between us. His body felt warm against mine, and even though the air between us still carried the tension from earlier, there was something comforting about the way he held me.
I had given it a thought while we stood there, everything that had happened, everything that had been said, and there was one thing I couldn't let go of.
"You agree with me that really, you're the one who has been picking on him?" I asked, finally pulling back just enough to look at his face.
His brows knitted together immediately, his expression shifting into that familiar one that almost said, Why are you bringing this up again?
"Mmh," he murmured after a pause, his voice low and slightly rough. The word came out like it was dragged from his throat, forced, reluctant, but still there.
