Marineford, Naval Headquarters.
Inside the high-level conference room, tension hung thick in the air.
Every seat was filled—only vice admirals and above were qualified to attend.
Sengoku sat at the head of the table his expression weary.
"Speak your minds. The World Government is furious. Olivia's survival puts their secrets at risk." His voice was hoarse.
"If not for Commander Kong's support, I might've lost my position as Fleet Admiral."
A beautiful, poised vice admiral with sharp eyes spoke up first.
"I suggest we issue the bounty posters immediately—to make our position clear, then plan our next moves."
Vice Admiral Tsuru's words were firm.
Kuzan nodded in agreement. "I support Vice Admiral Tsuru's proposal."
"I don't!" a muffled voice growled.
Everyone turned to see Sakazuki—his head bandaged like a rice dumpling, only his eyes visible—speaking from behind the bandages with barely contained fury.
"I say we mobilize and capture Kavi now! His actions insult the Navy's dignity!"
Kuzan let out a rare scoff, his tone dry. "Navy's dignity? More like your ego."
"What's that, Kuzan?" Sakazuki snapped. "You disagree?"
Before Kuzan could respond, a clear, young voice rang out, cutting through the tension.
"I object."
All heads turned to a young woman rising from her seat.
She had long blue hair, porcelain skin, and striking eyes that radiated confidence.
Though only eighteen or nineteen, her frame was tall and athletic, her aura unshakable.
Vice Admiral Rosa.
"Speak your mind, Rosa," said Vice Admiral Tsuru, her expression softening.
Tsuru had personally mentored Rosa, and even her pet crane was fond of the girl.
What no one knew was that Rosa had a hidden reason for defending Kavi—he was her master.
Years ago, she had trained under him.
Since then, she'd clawed her way through the ranks with unmatched ferocity, becoming the youngest vice admiral in history.
And all this time, she had searched for him—only to hear he had resurfaced to protect a woman named Olivia.
The betrayal stung more than she could admit.
But that didn't matter. No one threatened her master.
"I believe not even Vice Admiral Sakazuki could stop him," Rosa said bluntly.
"Sending anyone else would be pointless, and we're not about to dispatch a Marine Admiral, are we? Do we even know where he is?"
The room went silent.
Tsuru nodded slowly. "A valid point. Vice Admiral Kizaru, your thoughts?"
All eyes turned to Borsalino, who was lazily filing his nails.
'Why me?' he thought, pausing with a sigh. "I agree with Vice Admiral Tsuru."
Tsuru narrowed her eyes. "Repeat what I said."
Kizaru blinked. "…Must I?"
"Enough," Sengoku interrupted before Tsuru could push further. "We'll proceed with the bounty posters."
He glanced toward Garp—who was snoring, a snot bubble forming at his nose—and sighed. 'Never mind.'
Rosa exhaled in relief, but then her eyes gleamed darkly.
'Kavi… how dare you run around with another woman behind my back? Don't let me catch you.'
Meanwhile…
Up in the clouds, Kavi soared through the sky using Moonwalk, Olivia hanging off his back, and Saul trailing behind.
The Marines, stingy as ever, hadn't lent them a ship.
Worse, Kavi's own ship had been destroyed in the earlier chaos at the dock. So now, they were stuck flying.
Olivia, meanwhile, was thoroughly enjoying herself.
"How about I carry her for a while?" Saul offered, concerned.
"No need," Olivia quickly interjected, clinging tighter to Kavi's back. "Uncle Kavi's strong."
She nuzzled against him shamelessly. "You're hiding such power all this time… You're so… firm."
"Touch me again, and I'll drop you," Kavi said flatly.
"Ahem! Don't be ridiculous," Olivia muttered, clearly not letting go.
After two days of flight, Saul—exhausted—finally spotted a merchant ship.
Kavi could've kept going for a month. But this seemed like a good time to rest.
They intended to pay for passage, but the moment the merchants saw Saul's towering figure, they practically begged them aboard—for free.
As the three settled into the ship, Olivia continued her antics.
"Wake up! We've arrived!" Kavi barked, shaking Olivia who was pretending to sleep on his back.
"Mmm? Already?" she murmured innocently, yawning as she slid off.
Kavi rolled his eyes. 'Unbelievable.'
After a month at sea, they finally reached the East Blue.
"Uncle Kavi! We're wanted!"
Olivia came sprinting toward him, several bounty posters clutched in her hands.
She spread them out in front of Kavi and Saul.
Nico Olivia – Demonologist – 200 million berries
Jaguar D. Saul – Traitor Vice Admiral – 500 million berries
Kavi – Demon Guardian – 1.5 billion berries
Nico Robin – Demon Child – 79 million berries
The surviving scholars of Ohara had also been given bounties.
But Kavi only stared blankly at his own title.
"Demon Guardian?! What kind of name is that? Who came up with this garbage? Show yourself!"
He was livid. "Why not call me Demon Knight?! That sounds cooler!"
"I like it," Olivia beamed. "See? I'm the demonologist, and you're the demon guardian. It means you're protecting me, Uncle Kavi!"
Saul scratched his head in confusion. "Aren't we missing the point? We're all wanted now."
Kavi sighed. 'This girl was too naïve. Training her was going to be a necessity.'
The trio had no idea that the ship's crew—who had been eavesdropping the whole time—were trembling in terror, wiping sweat from their foreheads.
Only when Kavi and the others disembarked did the merchants finally breathe again.
"These people were… oddly nice. Didn't even ask for money," Olivia said innocently.
Kavi rolled his eyes again.
'Naive to the bone.'
