New World – Moby Dick
"Dad! Look at this!" Marco burst into Whitebeard's quarters, holding up the latest newspaper.
"There's a bounty on Uncle Kavi!"
Whitebeard took the paper, and his eyes narrowed as he scanned the front page.
The headline screamed news of the Buster Call on Ohara, and right below it was an image of Kavi standing in the air, deflecting cannon fire with calm defiance.
"Gurararara... So, the man's finally been branded a criminal, huh?" Whitebeard let out a booming laugh.
"Didn't listen when I told him to join us. Look where it got him."
Marco's eyebrow twitched.
'If he had joined us, he'd be a wanted man too...'
Whitebeard grinned. "Sons! Tonight, we drink—for our friend Kavi, the newest enemy of the World Government!"
"Cheers!" the crew erupted, raising mugs and bottles alike.
Marco sighed. 'Yeah. You get used to it around here.'
Wano Country – Onigashima
"KAVI!!!"
Kaido's roar echoed through the halls of the great skull fortress as he crushed the bounty poster in his hand.
"So, you've finally shown yourself..." he growled, smoke hissing from his nostrils.
That face—he'd never forget it. That smug bastard who humiliated him years ago.
'Someday,' Kaido thought, 'I'll repay that shame a hundredfold.'
Why not now? Because deep down, he wasn't sure he could win.
Not yet. Better to wait until he reached his true peak—and Kavi had begun to fade.
'They all call me a brute... but I'm the smartest one here,' he told himself, chuckling darkly at the fantasy of stomping Kavi into the ground.
Nearby, King watched his captain warily. 'Furious one moment, laughing like a maniac the next... did something snap in his head?'
East Blue – Shimotsuki Village
"Uncle Kavi! Are we there yet? I want to see Robin!"
"Almost!" Kavi snapped. "Stop asking every five seconds!"
After weeks of travel, Kavi, Olivia, and Saul finally reached their destination—Shimotsuki Village.
They headed straight for the dojo nestled in the village's heart.
As they approached, a young boy in a practice sword stepped outside. "Excuse me... are you looking for someone?"
Before Kavi could reply, a familiar voice called out.
"Seniors! You made it!"
It was Monkey D. Dragon.
He'd arranged to meet them here, far from the prying eyes of the World Government.
Kavi nodded in greeting.
Just then, a small figure burst out from the dojo and flung herself at Kavi, eyes brimming with tears.
"Uncle Kavi! You liar! You were going to abandon Robin!"
Little Robin buried her face in his chest, sobbing.
Kavi gently scooped her up and wiped away her tears.
"Uncle would never abandon you. I left to find someone special—look who I brought back."
He stepped aside, revealing Olivia.
Tears spilled freely down Olivia's cheeks.
Her arms trembled midair, hesitant to embrace her daughter.
But Robin's eyes widened, and she gasped, "Mom! You're back!"
With no more hesitation, she rushed into Olivia's arms.
The two clung to each other tightly, tears flowing freely.
Years of separation, pain, and longing washed away in a single embrace.
Kavi turned away, letting them have their moment.
Dragon approached with a man in his early thirties. "Senior, this is Koshiro, director of Shimotsuki Dojo and a good friend of mine."
He turned to Koshiro. "And this... this is the true commander of the Revolutionary Army."
Koshiro's eyes widened. 'Commander? The Demon Guardian himself?' The bounty was still fresh in his mind.
"An honor, sir! Please, call me Koshiro."
Kavi let out a long sigh. "Don't listen to him. I'm just a regular guy. The leader of the Revolutionary Army is Dragon. I just gave him a few ideas..."
He turned, glaring at Dragon. "Now I'm the commander? You sure know how to stab a guy in the back."
"I only gave credit where it's due," Dragon replied solemnly.
"You're the spiritual pillar of our cause. You don't need to lead, just guide. Speak when necessary, and we'll follow."
Kavi rubbed his temple.
'Great. Now I'm some sort of figurehead.'
"Fine," he muttered. "But don't drag me into anything unless it's serious."
With that, the Revolutionary Army gained a mysterious new commander—a man shrouded in legend, known only by title.
Dragon, meanwhile, was thrilled.
Now, whenever trouble arose, he'd have a perfectly legitimate reason to ask Kavi for help.
Kavi suddenly felt a chill. 'Why does this feel like a trap...?'
"Come inside," a soft voice called from the doorway.
A gentle-looking woman stood at the entrance of the dojo, waving them in.
Inside, Olivia and Robin sat together, whispering and laughing, mother and daughter already rebuilding their bond.
The woman held a plump baby girl in her arms. Kavi's eyes narrowed with curiosity.
'Could this be... Kuina?'
Koshiro noticed his gaze. "This is my daughter—her name is Kuina."
The baby's round face turned toward Kavi at the sound of her name.
Her big, shiny eyes sparkled with curiosity.
Kavi smiled, walked over, and pinched her cheek gently. "What a cute little girl."
Kuina squealed in delight and reached out to him with both arms.
"Well, looks like she likes you," Koshiro laughed, clearly surprised. "She usually doesn't take to strangers."
Kavi picked her up, bouncing her lightly. "Maybe I've just got the face of a nanny."
"Waaah!"
A sudden wetness on his hand made him pause. He looked down in horror.
"Oh crap—"
Koshiro's wife swooped in, taking Kuina back with an apologetic smile. "I'm so sorry, senior!"
She turned to scold the child, "Kuina, how could you do that to our guest?"
But little Kuina only clapped her hands and laughed, clearly proud of herself.
Kavi wiped his hand on his coat and groaned. "It's fine. She's just a kid."
He glanced down at his coat and muttered, "But I swear, if I end up smelling like baby pee all day... I'm quitting the revolution."
