"Luna, I need to talk to you," Sol said, his tone deep and serious. Luna froze. Saichi's sharp gaze fell on her, leaving her no room to escape.
"What for?" I asked, forcing my voice to sound casual. Just act normal, Luna.
"Luna, I—"
"Luna! There you are!" Before Sol could finish, Cl's arm wrapped around my shoulders in a familiar gesture. Perfect timing. My breath loosened — finally, a way out.
"Sorry, Sol, but Cl and I have something to do. Maybe later—" Before I could turn away, Saichi's hand caught my wrist, stopping me in place.
"Is that more important than Sol?" His voice was calm but heavy, demanding an answer. Cl's expression darkened. He took a step forward, his hand holding my other wrist — a quiet yet dangerous challenge.
"Bro," Cl said, his tone deceptively soft, "let my girl go."
"Saichi, please," Sol murmured, his voice faintly trembling. "Let her go. We can talk another time." Saichi clicked his tongue in frustration before releasing my hand.
