### *Flashback: Stage-1, Level-2 Dungeon – "The Wild Hog's Den"*
Inside the dim stone chamber, Suho crouched in a corner, clutching a worn adventure book while his skeletons clashed against the **Level-2 Boss — Wild Fire Hog**.
The beast's tusks burned like wild fire, its hooves melting the stone beneath every step.
Suho, however, wasn't watching the fight.
He was reading.
> *"The Great Hero Rud – The Path of Aura."*
His eyes followed the faded words.
> *There exist many ranks of aura:*
> *1. Aura User*
> *2. Aura Warrior*
> *3. Aura Soldier*
> *4. Aura Knight*
> *5. Aura Commander*
> *6. Aura Captain*
> *7. Aura King*
> *And one more…*
The last line was half-torn, but enough to stir his curiosity.
> *It is said the first King of the Kingdom transcended the rank of Aura King and became something beyond humanity — the one they called...*
> *Aura God.*
Suho's eyes widened.
> "Aura God… huh? That even real?"
Then he joined the fight.
The page turned again.
> *…but there was a rumour — first King of the Kingdom was summoned from a distant world, the world called Earth. His name was…*
The parchment was burnt at the edge, the name unreadable.
The echo of battle shook dust from the ceiling.
---
### *Present — The Flooded City of Nikas*
Suho was flying upward—no, being *dragged* upward—by the dark energy burning in his chest.
The pain was unbearable.
Black flames hissed across his skin, gnawing at the crimson aura leaking from within.
> "Aaaahh—!"
He clenched his fists, gathering his remaining strength, pressing both palms against his chest.
His own aura surged in defiance—crimson meeting black.
The sky split.
With a roar, Suho forced the dark energy upward, thrusting it toward the barrier above the city.
The instant it struck, the world erupted in blinding white.
A **massive explosion** tore through the dome.
For a single breath, the barrier cracked open, and the **ocean poured in**—a tidal wave crashing down upon the ruined city.
Then, just as quickly, the barrier sealed itself again, leaving water cascading like endless rain.
The entire battlefield was submerged ankle-deep in shimmering blue.
Skeletons staggered through it; monsters slipped and roared.
Suho's body plummeted from the sky.
But before he hit the ground, a small shape darted beneath him—
**Hogwords**, floating on a makeshift platform, catching him with both bony hands.
Suho landed hard, coughing blood.
The smell of burned flesh filled the air; his chest was still smoking.
He fumbled through the system window, buying a **normal healing potion**.
The liquid stung down his throat, dulling the pain but leaving the charred mark untouched.
Down below, chaos continued.
One **Commander** had already fighting to the skeleton army, but two more still raged on.
The **third** sword commander was overpowering Miho and Veno together, while the **fourth— the Captain Commander—**stood still, watching with silent amusement.
---
Suho's hand trembled as he touched his chest.
Smoke rose from the dark imprint burned there—a reminder of his weakness.
Something inside him snapped.
Crimson energy began to bleed from his body, thick as smoke.
It coiled around him like a living storm.
Suho stood.
> "Every time I think it's finally over…"
> His voice cracked with rage.
> "…everything gets taken away again."
He leapt from the platform.
The water below exploded upon impact as he landed.
Cracks spider-webbed across the flooded ground.
An overwhelming pressure spread through the air—his aura overflowing beyond control.
Suho's scream echoed through the ruined city.
Then he charged.
---
The **Captain Commander** turned just as Suho appeared before him, sword flashing downward.
The clash rang out like thunder.
The Captain Commander deflected every strike effortlessly, his dark blade weaving through Suho's attacks as if mocking him.
With one hand, he caught Suho's sword again.
Suho's grip faltered. He let go—and instead drove a **kick** into the Commander's stomach.
The giant moved barely an inch.
A faint smirk spread across the Commander's inhuman face.
He raised a single hand and struck.
Suho's body flew backward, crashing into the shallow water with a heavy splash.
Before he could recover, the Captain Commander grabbed a fistful of Suho's hair and yanked him upward.
Then came the fists.
Over and over.
Each blow echoed through the city, splashing red into the water.
Even the monsters paused.
Even the undead froze.
The Captain Commander laughed, holding Suho up by his hair, showing him off to his army like a trophy.
Suho's blood dripped from his chin into the water below.
Then, with a cruel laugh, the Captain Commander hurled him toward the battlefield.
Veno caught him mid-air, but Suho's body was limp—barely breathing.
---
Miho's empty sockets glowed crimson.
The army roared with rage.
The battlefield trembled again.
Miho lunged at the Sword Commander, red aura blazing brighter than before.
His sword slashed faster than the eye could follow.
But the Commander met every strike, laughing.
Even injured, the difference in power was overwhelming.
Hogwords raised his staff high above, chanting frantically.
Thick vines erupted from the ground, wrapping around the Sword Commander's legs.
Miho seized the opening—
and struck.
**Slash.**
The Sword Commander's arm flew off.
He howled in fury, plunging his sword into Miho's chest in return.
Bones cracked; half of Miho's ribcage shattered.
Hogwords screamed—then unleashed a torrent of fireballs from above.
Explosions lit the dark city in waves.
And then—
A **blue flash** cut through the chaos.
Lightning struck.
The Sword Commander's head flew skyward, cleaved clean off.
Veno stood behind him, wreathed in arcs of electricity, blue sword crackling in his grip.
Without pausing, he dashed forward again, slicing through the second Commander who had been fighting the skeleton army.
But cracks began to appear along his arm—fine fissures spreading like broken glass.
He had pushed too far.
There were still two enemies left: the **giant Commander**, towering over ruins,
and the **Captain Commander**, now burning with fury.
He drew his sword fully this time.
Dark aura swirled around him like a storm.
Veno stepped forward, lightning blazing once more.
Their blades met.
The impact alone sent waves crashing through the flooded city, scattering bones and monsters alike.
---
Far behind, amidst shattered stone and water, Suho lay motionless.
His breathing was shallow; blood streaked down his face.
Crimson aura still leaked from his body in waves, staining the water red.
