"Women…" Arthur rolled his eyes exasperatedly.
He rubbed the little fox and raised a curious brow. "Do you want her to give you a pat?"
The little fox shifted its gaze toward Gabriella, then back to Arthur, and snorted before wrapping its tail around Arthur like a scarf and gently lying on his chest.
Arthur turned to Gabriella. Her expression was like someone who had been heartbroken and was about to cry.
Arthur tried to hold in his laughter as he tapped the carriage, signaling the driver to bring it to a stop.
"I'll go hunt something for her, I'll be back in a bit." The moment he finished speaking, Arthur didn't give the lady a moment to reply before stepping down from the carriage.
It seemed she was still stupefied from the rejection of the little fox.
Arthur could feel her piercing gaze on his back, boring into him even as he walked. Thankfully, soon he vanished from her line of sight.
The moment she lost sight of him, Gabriella's bountiful chest heaved a bit, and it took her a long while before she finally calmed herself. Gritting her teeth, she glared furiously in the direction Arthur had disappeared in, waiting for him to return.
Time passed very slowly, and Gabriella felt that she had waited for a really long time before Arthur finally returned from his long journey.
Arthur returned, and Gabriella perceived the smell of meat clinging to his skin.
Gabriella widened her eyes. "You… you're already done feeding her?"
Arthur seemed confused; nevertheless he still nodded.
Gabriella's lips twitched, and she glared at Arthur before turning her gaze away from him. Her eyes were filled with anger, and recalling the grease she saw at the corner of Arthur's lips caused her brows to furrow even more.
'This guy… does he know nothing about women at all?' Internally she couldn't help wondering.
Arthur stared at Gabriella, speechless.
'What the fuck is her problem?'
He shook his head with a sigh and tapped the carriage for the driver to continue on their way.
The night's breeze rustled through the air as they drifted by.
After roughly three hours of the ride, the driver finally found a place similar to a cave where they could rest for the night.
After checking and finding no danger within the cave, the driver parked the carriage to the side and then entered the cave, setting up a tent inside for the lady.
Arthur watched everything through the corner of his eyes, and after the man was done, he set up a tent for himself as well.
Arthur shrugged and paused briefly in his movements before walking to the side.
"It seems I will have to sleep on this cold… hard… ground that possesses no sense of comfort." Arthur's voice dragged on, slightly louder than normal in the deep cave.
The place still remained silent.
"Well then, I better just lie peacefully on the ground…"

"Alright, I'm lyi—"
"Come and lie with me, there's a bit of space here." Before Arthur could finish speaking the third time, Gabriella's slightly exasperated voice entered his ears.
A smirk appeared at the corner of Arthur's lips, and before Gabriella could change her words, she saw a bald head pop into her tent.
"Sorry to intrude…" Arthur said with a calm smile.
Subconsciously, he gulped, staring at the beauty in front of him.
At some point in time, she had changed her dress into a silk-like black nightgown that covered her completely, and through the fabric covering her, Arthur could see her curves being accentuated.
"Don't have any weird thoughts…" Although her face was slightly flushed, Gabriella still managed to interrupt Arthur as she turned to the wall.
Arthur sighed once more, controlling the intense urge to pounce on her. Not in an unmanly manner, but…

"Don't worry about that. I'm a gentleman." Arthur replied in a calm tone. After all, he couldn't let slip that this was the first time he would be sleeping in close proximity with a woman, aside from his mother in both lives.
He lay beside her, and the moment he did, a peculiar scent of mint and rose petals entered his nostrils.
Arthur let out another sigh…
'This is going to be a really… really long night.'

The golden rays of sunlight streamed in through the cloud-filled skies, casting a warm glow into the cave.
Arthur was startled awake after a long night of sleep.
The first thing he did the moment he woke up was glance toward his side.
Surprisingly, the lady had left the tent at some point in time.
'Nothing happened, huh…' Arthur thought, shaking his head as the familiar mature scent of the lady drifted into his nose.
He stood up groggily.
'Today is gonna be a really fucked up day!' Arthur knew that it was finally time to get serious with his life.
That was why, starting from today, he would begin completing the daily missions.
At least the ones that had to do with exercises, since there were no dungeons in sight.
Arthur stood up with a jolt and walked out of the tent.
He noticed that the driver had also gone out to do some miscellaneous things, having already packed his tent to one side.
He glanced around briefly before resolving himself internally.
'Time for sit-ups!'
There were about seven exercises Arthur had to complete, and each of them had one hundred reps.
'I'm truly doomed.' Arthur smiled wryly, then began his exercise.

'Fuck!' Arthur cursed internally. Nevertheless, he didn't hesitate to pick up pace and begin running out of the cave, the warm light of the sun heating his skin.
