Tisha Marsey was disgustingly good at shooter games.
Outdoor, indoor, electronic, you name it. She never played airsoft, but she knew that she would excel if she tried it.
She was so good that there was only one person off of the top of her head that could rival her- Liohime Kitagami. And even then, he had admitted to her a long time ago that he was not very proficient when it came to shooter games.
However, today had been the day where she had been bested. In the game before Liohime had arrived to play Laser Tag, she had been knocked out during the first phase and did not even make the top eight….
…All because of one person.

After nearly three minutes of doing nothing but trying to escape attacks from others, Shihon arrived to a special northeast section of the arena, dressed with foam pillars and glass mirrors at nearly every turn.
Mirrors?
She stared at the entrance sign which stated, 'The Glassy Field'.
She gulped, and despite being initially unsure, she spotted two teenage girls running towards her at the corner of her eyes and dashed inside while they tried to fire after her.
Seeing that one had three lives and the other had two displayed over their heads, she decided not to risk a two versus one situation.
Weaving through the pillars and mirrors, she ventured deeper and deeper until she was sure that she had lost sight of them.
"That was close," she muttered. "But damn, I can't keep running away like this. I haven't even managed to get a single point off of any shot yet."
She clutched her knees and crouched down as she tried to catch her breath.
If this was a display of her aiming to be the best and sharpen up her physical abilities, then she was doing a pretty shaky job. Still, no matter what, she would try her best to improve, and she needed to start now.
She stood up straight and turned back, looking off into the distance.
I hope my Master is doing okay.
Suddenly, a yawn that came from in front of her disrupted her thoughts, and she nearly jumped out of her skin, scurrying behind a nearby pillar and peeking back.
W-What the…I didn't even sense that somebody was close to me…who the hell could this person be?
She peered at a young boy with jet black hair and brown eyes on the ground, lying on his back and flipping his gun into the air without a care in the world.
It flew up, and gravity pulled it right back down into his arms, and the process was repeated again and again. As if in a bored state, the boy who seemed no older than twelve years old clearly did not pay any attention to his surroundings, and Shihon exhaled in relief before exposing herself.
It's just a kid who gave up midway. Well, I can get my first few points off of this poor soul!
You all are probably guessing where this is headed, but let's waste a few extra words here.
Shihon carelessly stepped closer and closer until she was merely a couple feet away from the kid, before-
"You should get outta here, darkie. Get a move on."
...….The fuck did this kid just say?
Shihon's eyebrows twitched, and she looked on in a perplexed state without moving.
The boy had not even glanced over to her direction, or maybe he did when she had first arrived here? Either way, Shihon found herself in an unusual scenario, being belittled by a boy nearly half her age as he motioned her to move away with a wave.
"Look here, kid. I'll make this quick for you, so you don't even have to get up-"
"I don't know what crawled up your mother's pussy to be inserted into your dumbass brain when she was giving birth, but can you clearly hear me telling you to leave? Get going, already, bitch."
Holy fuck. I think that statement shattered the last few fragments of self-control remaining in Shihon's brain.
A dark aura rose out of Shihon's body as veins popped on her forehead and temple. Her pupils sharpened, and her fangs glistened.
"You fucking…"
"Ugh, this might tally my result to…what, fifteen or sixteen clean shots? Anyway, this'll do."
Sighing, the boy stood up and uttered those words, and Shihon raised her gun to fire without remorse, but-
"There she is, with a boy as well!!! Fire!!!"
The two girls who had been chasing Shihon finally spotted the duo, and they let the lasers fly.
Clicking her tough, Shihon flew past the flurry of attacks, and the black-haired boy grinned while twisting only his shoulders and moving his head to the side, dodging the stray beams.
He blitzed into action, speeding right between the two ladies, and firing a clean shot into the one on his left, deducting one life.
The two girls instantly reacted and fired, but the figure was already past them, and they fired, not at the person who was between both of their circular targets while they turned, but at each other, deducting their lives for him.
"S-Shit!"
"Sorry! This fucker's good!!"
They faced their backs to each other, both with one life remaining while Shihon stared in awe, watching the kid leap from the top of each pillar to pillar up above, dodging beams aimed at him.
Finally, he launched off of the nearest one and descended like a bullet right onto them, but one of the girls was quick to pull the trigger with pin-point accuracy. Unfortunately for her, all she heard was a click, and no laser was fired.
T-The ammo!
The young boy, within a fraction of a second, lined up two quickfire shots, both at each forehead where the smaller circular targets lay, and scored perfectly right before he braced his fall with a spectacular forward roll into a battle pose.
…Laser Tag is never this serious.
PING! PING!
With both of his opponents on zero lives, he had defeated them both, and they both groaned in disbelief before leaving the scene.
Shihon drew back, but the boy caught sight of her, and coolly walked forward.
"W-Who the hell are you?" she questioned, not expecting the greatest aura loss of the century that followed in his reply.
"I am Billy Milly, and this domain is my slaughterhouse."
