Viona's POV
Of course, I read it. Only three clauses were written:
1. The two parties shall be formally and lawfully married for a period of six (6) years.
2. Either party shall make no demand for a genuine relationship, even in public, until the final (sixth) year of the marriage.
3. Rafael shall provide Viona with any material support she requires, and upon divorce, he will give marital assets equivalent to half of his total assets, leaving Viona's separate assets untouched.
Six years? Even six months felt too long.
"But Rafael, the time… it's just another shackle on my ankles. You—"
"Clause number two. Read it again. I won't chain you up."
I reread the vague clause. The sixth year?
"And I'll give you five years. You can be free. Do whatever you want with the Kingston name. I promised that." He continued.
"What… what?" I stuttered, my eyes wide with shock.
