Chapter 46 - Stay...

Come on dear girls! Come on!

Do your work, don't just stand there like a doll---Lucas, the imperial palace keeper's voice rung through the grand hall. As servants hurriedly shuffled through the mosaic walls of the palace--their shoes swiftly grazing against the fine carpet of the floor--as it to not leave a trace. They walked like water--both nimble and versatile.

Eleanor stood by--her fingers clutched the soft white towel as she gazed at the window--the moonlight seeped in through the window making her face illuminate.

Lucas's eyebrows were furrowed as he motioned his hands to the servants, just then--his eyes fell to Eleanor.

Girl!!! Come here!

He yelled for her--Eleanor jolted slightly; she then hesitantly began to walk towards him.

Her steps were slow, uncertain, she then finally stood Infront of him.

His both hands were on his hip-- what were you doing? I called for you several times!

He scolded.

I'm sorry dominus...(sir)

She murmured. Her fingers gripping her skirt. Uh-huh.... he murmured--he then ushered her to move it!

Eleanor obeyed, her fingers then traveled to tuck a thread of hair in her Natmika.

Her steps were undecided; her hand still clutched the towel as she then made her way to the bath.

Eleanor's gaze then went up as she saw the enormous door.

Her hand grazing the gold palate--as a jolt of shiver went through spine.

She then tugged it open. As soon as she stepped in the heavy aroma of lavender struck her.

Her eyes roomed as she worked her way on the marble floor-- Eleanor was too keen on aligning the clothes--just then, "

Eleanor...?"

Her breath caught as her eyes widened with recognition--That same commanding yet a low voice.

"Flaytus Agustus Filius"... the name struck her as she then scrambled up--her head lowering as she turned to face him.

Yes...

His head tilted.

Master...?

Her eyes flickered up to him--her face instantly flushed with embarrassment as she saw the frame of a shirtless Flaytus.

Flaytus kept his head tilted, his gaze lingering on her small nimble frame.

Her voice then came out--"if my master doesn't have any wish, I will be on my way out"

She then dipped into a graceful bow and began to walk.

As she reached Flaytus--his low voice came out again, Eleanor...

She stopped dead in her track--her hands clasped, her head still low, heart racing.

She then waited for what felt like an eternity--I...do...

Her eyebrows furrowed, you do...?

Flaytus's gaze flickered with something--then, a nod.
