Warm steam began to fill the space. Jay stood behind Liv, his fingers tracing her neck and shoulders in slow, deliberate strokes. Liv held her breath as Jay pulled her into the wooden tub, pressing their bodies together under the rush of hot water.
There was no awkwardness between them every touch was a language they both spoke fluently. Liv knew, beneath Jay's ever-cold expression, was a fire always ready to consume.
Jay squeezed Liv's waist, whispering against her ear.
"You're always so warm on mornings like this."
Liv just smiled, melting into Jay's hold.
They ended up making out in the tub, steam curling around their bodies. Jay's red eyes fixed on Liv intense, volcanic, as if she was melting into liquid fire under his gaze. Every time he looked at her like that, Liv felt herself drowning in a lava flow that threatened to obliterate her completely.
