One week has passed since that fateful night. As the new morning sun slowly rose over Konohagakure. Jiraiya was out gathering more material for his next book at one of the local bathing houses.
"Oh... yes that's nice." Jiraiya giggled. He was look at every curve and mark on each woman's body adding it his memory. Then a female voice spoke.
"Lord Jiraiya. You know this is unbecoming behavior for one of your status." Then another woman spoke. "Speak for yourself I was about to bathe here, I just returned from my mission an hour ago." When Jiraiya turned around he noticed two beautiful kunoichi behind him. Kurenai Yūhi and Anko Mitarashi. The later of the two was irritated from the Sannin before them actions.
Jiraiya smirked as he looked at the two woman before him. He knew why they were here and decided to play a little bit. "Ladies. You know about little old me I am flattered. What do you saw helping me out, you see I'm a writer and I'm going through a bit of a block. We can discuss this over some drinks and food what do you say?" Jiraiya said with a smile on his face.
Kurenai responded with her calm stoic face and tone. "Lord Jiraiya, Lord Third is expecting your presences and wants you to arrive to his office as soon as possible."
"I know ladies and you both are doing a great job. I just needed to check on some things before meeting the hokage. I will come with you."Kurenai nodded. "Then please follow us Lord Jiraiya."
As the three made their way to the hokage mansion. Jiraiya was admiring the women's asses. He was not very subtle but the two endured it. Until Anko spoke. "Lord Jiraiya how about I help you out."
"Oh, and how will you help me out ?" Jiraiya said with a intrigued grin on his face. "I can help you with your book if you don't mind us doing it over some food that is?" Anko said with a small smile on her face.
Anko turned over slightly her cleavage under her coat. Chain mail hung tightly to her body which exposed just enough to get Jiraiya's undivided attention. A lecherous gaze appeared in his eyes.
"Well I'm glad to see such a strong and beautiful ninja like you is willing to help her senior." Jiraiya said.
Anko just nodded. "And your paying right?"
Jiraiya nodded. "Of course. Don't worry something as little as food trouble you. Just leave that part to me." Jiraiya had a wide grin on his face.
Anko looked to Kurenai. "You hear that Kurenai Lord Jiraiya is paying you interested." Akko said with a sly smile on her face. "No thank you , you both enjoy yourselves without me."
Anko smiled while placing he elbows in the air with her hands behind her head. "No problem more food for me then."
After walking through the village the three made their way to the Hokage Mansion. Outside the hokages office was Kakashi Hatake and Asuma Sarutobi. The two bowed in respect two Jiraiya. "Lord Jiraiya it is good to see you again." Kakashi said.
"Kakashi.... Asuma.... It's good to see you both again. Tell me Kakashi how is Naruto doing?"
"He's growing more and more each day. He reminds me so much of his parent's."
"I see that's good. Well we shouldn't the old man waiting for us then."
The five then walked into the hokages office to see. Hiruzen next to him was Genma and standing across from them was Fugaku. Itachi. And Shisui.
"Well well. Seems like everyone is here. So shall we get this party started." Jiraiya said.
Hiruzen nodded. "Yes let us begin. And I don't believe I need to say this but just to be sure. Everything said in this room is to be of the utmost secret. Now Fugaku please explain the details as you see them."
Fugaku stepped foward. "Yes lord third." Within minutes Fugaku explained everything from the night Menma came over, and what he read in the book. He also explained how tensions were rising in the Uchiha compound.
The only person to talk after was Jirayai. "I see now so that's how bad things have gotten. Old man how could you have let things get this bad?"
Hiruzen eyes narrowed. "This isn't a easy factor. The public didn't trust the Uchiha and the elders agreed with wanting to move the problem away."
"But you know it's more then that. If what this book say is true. The Danzo is just building his power and waiting for a moment to strike. It becomes easier when everyone has his views for the Uchiha, but in the end it get's rid of a rival opposition. And a potential ally for you incase he loses his patience." Jirayai said with irritation in his voice.
"I can't blame the Uchiha for how they feel especially if the people who ran the village basically had it out for them. The only question is how do we catch Danzo in the act. I doubt he would remove his bandages and submit to a full screening if he didn't already have a plan in mind."
Then Fugaku spoke. "Excuse me Lord Jiraya. I believe I might have a plan that can help."
"Oh you don't say." Jirayai said with interest. "I'm all ear's what do you think we can do."
"Well to be precise this was Menma's plan he mentioned to me." That made everyone's eyes widen in disbelieve.
Fugaku explained the plan the Menma told him, which made Hiruzen's eye's narrow in surprise. "How does Menma know these things?"
Fugaku shook his head. "I do not know this myself Lord Third, but after dwelling on this plan I would have to say it is a very sound plan."
Hiruzen paused for a moment thinking to himself. Menma knows about those people and what they can do. How can a boy so young really think like this. His plan is likely to help to expose Danzo. But how will the elder's and the Daimyo react to this.
Jiraiya spoke first. "Well I have to say this is a good idea. Kekkashi. Asuma. can you go and gather those individuals for us. Is that alright with you sensei?"
Hiruzen nodded. "Proceed."
Asuma and Kakashi disappeared in a quick flicker.
Jiraiya was deep in thought. Menma. How do you know what you know? Are you a genius like the like Minato. Or are you perhaps the child of prophecy? I've ignored you for so long but I showed Naruto love. I wonder since you know your a jinchuriki, do you also know the truth about your birth?
1 Hour later....
Asuma and Kakashi returned to the Hokage Mansion. "Lord Third the personnel have been notified and our waiting outside for your instruction." Asuma said with a calm and serious tone. A cigarette lit in his mouth.
"Bring them in we shall inform them on this mission."
As Asuma nodded multiple people walked into the office. Hiruzen looked over everyone to ensure everyone was accounted for and no one was in disguise. Then he spoke and ensured his voice could be heard by everyone.
"I have summoned you all here as a precaution. It has come to my attention that the upper leadership of the leaf is in the midst of a plot that has caused and will cause more bloodshed. I have summoned you all here to help me out these doubts to rest. I cannot divulge all the details until your acceptance of this mission. if you accept please stay if not please leave the rom now, and forget this has happened."
Then one by one everyone spoke.
Hiashi Hyūga stepped forward with his brother Hizashi Hyūga and spoke. "Lord third. The Hyūga accepts your mission." With Hizashi nodded in accordance.
Tsume Inuzuka stepped forward. " Lord Third. The Inuzka clan accepts this mission, and our hounds are at your disposal.
Shibi Aburame then spoke. "The Aburame answers your call Lord Third."
Then Shikaku Nara, along with Inoichi Yamanaka and Chōza Akimichi walked forward. Shikaku then spoke. "Lord Third Ino-Shika-Cho is ready and awaits your orders."
Ibiki Morino then stepped forward with Hayate Gekko and Yūgao Uzuki. "Lord Hokage. I am my most trusted individuals await your orders."
Might Guy spoke with a serious tone. "Lord Third I await your orders. You have the full power of my youth at your disposal."
Last to speak was Fugaku. Behind him was Mikoto, Shisui, and Itachi. "Lord Third the Uchiha clan is ready and awaits your orders."
Hiruzen paused. He looked at everyone with narrowed eyes. With these Konohagakure ninja, Menma's plan should work. The real question is do I hope Menma's right or do I hope he is wrong.... No I should hope the truth comes to light. But the evidence is to circumstantial for it not to have some truth to it. All I can do is hope for the best.
"All ninja of the hidden leaf I will now tell you what your mission is and and Fugaku will tell you what each if your assignments will be."
5 Hours Later in the Forest of Death
Dnazo slowly walks towards the gated fence entrance of the Forest. Hiruzen stood next to Fugaku and Hiashi. Danzo could a shift in the air and walk with a alert edge.
"Lord Third what is the meaning of this urgent summons to the this area?" He said with his one so narrowed it was basically closed. Why are the heads of the Uchiha and Hyūga clan hear?"
Hiruzen's appearance was stoic but his mind was alert. "Danzo. My old friend I have must ask you to do something for me."
"And what is it Hiruzen?"
Hiruzen had his hands relaxed behind his back. He clenched them tightly in anticipation.
"I need you to remove your bandages, and submit yourself for interrogation."
Danzo said nothing at first. He just stared at the three.
"Can I ask why I have to do this?"
Fugaku spoke. "No you cannot. We are in the midst of a investigation, and all you need to do is comply."
Danzo paused. ".... And if I don't comply, what then?"
Fugaku spoke again. "You will be arrested and detained."
"Danzo began yo look up near the morning sky. "Awww, I see. Then I must have to say no to your request."
In that moment Root ANBU ninja appeared behind him in a instance.
Fugaku activated his Sharingan and Hiashi activated his Byakugan.
Then Hiruzen spoke. "Old friend is it true. You helped were killing Uchiha and using their eyes to covet power ? You even worked with Orochimaru to to help you implant those eyes in your body. Were you planning to get rid of the Uchiha as well?"
Danzo spoke with a cold tone. "It should have been me."
"What?" Hiruzen said his eyes narrowing.
"It should have been me Tobirama chose to be Hokage. You are very powerful Hiruzen but if you use that power like you should have Konoha would be the strongest village. Only through Konoha reigning supremely could true peace existed. Not this false sense of peace Hashirama created. He should have never given each village a tailed beast if he did that there would be no war cause no one would dare fight us. Not even the Daimyo would tell us what we can and cannot do. "
Hiruzen just exhauled deeply. " I'm guess this is what this is what it comes to." The Hiruzen threw aside his Hokage robes and his battle clothing came to life. Then behind in the forest of Death tree line Danzo noticed them.
Hidden leaf ninja appearing from the shadow's. Everyone's eyes were serious and ready for battle.
Danzo smiled. "No Hiruzen. It was always gonna come to this. Either you were gonna die or I was gonna kill you for this position when you became to weak."
Then Danzo undid his bandages and showed pale gray skin. A small number of Sharingan were on his arm and one in his eye. "Unfortunately I would have to show this before I was ready. But with the four strongest Uchiha hear I will be fine."
Then in a flash then ninja collided against each other. The sound of explosions and screams mixed with the smell of blood in the air.
Deep in the background of the Forest. Jiraiya sat in a meditative pose on a large tree branch with the Great Toad Sages, Fukasaku and Shima on his shoulders. Their eyes were closed and their minds focusing.
Deeper in the far shadows of the battle field. Black Zetsu watched with intrigue. He did not see any of this coming and he wondered who will come out on top.
