Akainu.
In the original One Piece, he was a future Admiral—and eventually rose to the rank of Fleet Admiral by sweating with Aokiji.
Wielding the Logia-type Magma-Magma Fruit (Magu Magu no Mi), his power was monstrous. His temper was volcanic. His combat style was fearless, violent, and absolute.
He was a ruthless man in and out.
He was the kind of man who'd sacrifice his own subordinates if it meant eliminating one more pirate. Innocents? Collateral damage. Orders? Second to "Justice."
In Jaeger's previous life, that made him a villain. A bloodthirsty extremist. A red flag in Marine uniform.
Not benevolent enough.
Too cruel. Too rigid.
But now?
In Jaeger's eyes—this version of him, reborn at the peak of a divine hierarchy—those were no longer flaws.
They were virtues.
A man like Sakazuki was a weapon. And if such a weapon could be made loyal—truly, willingly loyal—then it wouldn't be just useful.
It would be priceless.
It could be said: if Akainu could be brought to his side, sincerely and fully, he would become an exceptional subordinate. The kind of general you'd send to raze kingdoms and salt the earth—and he'd thank you for the privilege.
But the question remained:
How do you subdue someone like Akainu?
You don't debate him.
You don't coax him.
You don't try to "win his heart."
You satisfy his brutal ideals.
You break his pride.
And then, most importantly—
You overwhelm him with such monstrous power… that his belief in "absolute justice" has no choice but to kneel before your throne.
Make him realize that you are someone worthy of loyalty.
Someone who defines what "justice" means in the first place.
It was just that simple.
"The world's strongest sword technique?"
Akainu's eyes burned with focus as he stared at Jaeger, a rare flicker of intrigue softening his volcanic glare.
Long ago, he had trained in swordsmanship. But talent had betrayed him. After eating the Magma-Magma Fruit, he had cast aside the blade—devoting himself to overwhelming force.
Even so, some part of him had never let go of the sword. Some ember of longing had smoldered beneath the magma.
And now, Jaeger had poured gasoline on it.
"Please demonstrate, Jaeger-sama."
Akainu lowered his stance, magma hissing from his limbs and evaporating the air around him.
"As a matter of respect… I will give it my all."
The words were formal. Disciplined. Loyal.
But the temperature around them spiked violently.
He was already activating everything:
Observation Haki—sharpening his senses to their limit.
Armament Haki—layered in thick armor over skin and magma alike.
Magu Magu no Mi—fully unleashed, causing molten cracks to bubble across the deck.
Akainu wasn't taking any chances—not after what he'd witnessed in Impel Down.
He knew better than to underestimate Jaeger again.
But Jaeger?
Jaeger didn't even make a proper fighting posture.
He still held Stussy in his right arm, her expression calm and curious—as if watching a rehearsal rather than a battle.
Only his left arm hung free.
"Jaeger-sama…?"
Akainu hesitated, confused by the utter lack of readiness.
Jaeger finally spoke, tone casual.
"Just go all out."
He gave a faint smile.
"If I make the first move, you won't get to attack."
[ Chat Group ]
Miyuki Uchiha: "Holy shit, that was ICE COLD. I just took emotional damage and I'm not even the one fighting!"
Miyuki Uchiha: "That was some Sung Jinwoo-level aura flex."
Esdeath: "I think there's truth to what Jaeger said after all. Now he is strong."
Esdeath: "Also, Miyuki, you should really stop that bad habit of name-dropping and not explaining who you're even talking about."
Luo Hao: "Indeed! With the Belt of Hercules empowering his body and God Avoid Slash at his command, few in the One Piece world could last even a second."
Yamamoto Mei: "Not necessarily. One Piece is full of monsters with broken vitality stats. Akainu's one of the top-tier cockroaches."
Luo Hao: "Fair enough. This will be interesting to witness."
Miyuki Uchiha: "AHH sorry, Esdeath-Senpai! It's just a long-chin guy who shows up late to every fight, lets everyone get absolutely pounded by monsters, then swoops in like a final boss to save them. Farming Aura is literally his thing."
Esdeath: "Huh? What is 'Aura farming'? And what does he gain from letting people almost die first?"
Yamamoto Mei: "..."
Miyuki Uchiha: "..."
Sakura Tosaka: "Ehhh? Isn't that just like those fake superheroes who show up after everyone's already dying?"
Sakura Tohsaka mumbled, tilting her head in genuine confusion.
Finally, Yamamoto Mei sighed and stepped in like the tired straight woman of a comedy troupe.
She calmly explained the concept of "aura farming," breaking down the dramatics, the power-scaling mechanics, and the absurd hero timing trope with clinical efficiency.
When Esdeath heard the real explanation, her expression shifted ever so slightly.
For someone who prided herself on composure, it was rare—an almost imperceptible twitch of the eye, a subtle flush of embarrassment.
She had genuinely thought "Aura Farming" was some kind of special ability. A forbidden technique, perhaps. Something mysterious from another world.
After all, the multiverse was vast. Bizarre things happened all the time. Who was she to question names anymore?
Now, thoroughly regretting asking, Esdeath silently wished the group would drop the topic entirely.
Thankfully, Yamamoto Mei's intervention worked, and the focus shifted—right back to the fight unfolding on the screen.

"You're that confident?"
Akainu, completely unaware of the chaos in the group chat, narrowed his eyes.
Jaeger's calm words brushed too close to arrogance. That tone—unshaken, absolute—it sparked something deep in Sakazuki's core.
Pride.
His pride as a Marine. As a soldier. As a man forged in justice and fire.
He would prove himself. Here and now.
BOOM—!!
A deafening explosion rang out as magma erupted beneath Akainu's feet like a volcanic booster, shaking the entire ship.
He blasted forward, body launched by sheer elemental fury, magma trailing behind him like a blazing comet.
"Great Eruption!" (Meigou!)
His arm twisted into a monstrous magma fist, massive and molten—aimed straight for Jaeger's head like a meteor from hell.
In the original Marineford War, this was the technique that took half of Whitebeard's face.
A punch that burned through defenses as if they didn't exist. A move designed to end things.
"Jaeger-sama!!"
Stussy's voice rang out in panic, trembling. She was no weakling—stronger than most Vice Admirals by far—but even she paled before the apocalyptic force of this blow.
Jaeger finally moved.
"God Avoid."
Zheng—!
A radiant golden sword materialized in his left hand with a clear, ringing hum. In a single motion, he swung.
The golden arc that followed didn't just cut—it cleaved through reality like it was paper.
Distance, space, defense, even time itself—none of it mattered.
In the aftermath, the world fell silent.
The sea was split cleanly for dozens of kilometers. The clouds above were cut in half, the sky itself left with a scar stretching into the horizon. Magma cooled in midair as it was caught in the aftermath of the swing.
Akainu was hurled back, crashing into the deck like a broken meteor. He coughed up blood, his body battered and scorched, a massive gash tearing from shoulder to waist.
His uniform was in ruins. His pride, worse.
"Was… was that an instant kill?"
Stussy's voice trembled—part awe, part horror.
She knew... if Akainu didn't have a magma body granting him partial immunity to physical strikes, he would've been cut clean in half.
[Group Chat]
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "I have no idea what just happened… but it looked terrifying."
Tohsaka Sakura: "Sakura too~ completely overwhelmed! My brain's still rebooting~"
Miyuki Uchiha: "I'm trembling. Please… please don't let Jaeger-sama enter the Naruto world. We won't survive the flex."
Esdeath: "That sword was beautiful. I'm honestly a little sad I wasn't the one getting sliced."
Luo Hao: "A flawless sword technique, yes. But even such power must have its weaknesses."
Yamamoto Mei: "Agreed. The best counter is to defeat Jaeger before he draws the sword."
Miyuki Uchiha: "Bold of you to assume anyone's fast enough. He's got the Belt of Hercules, remember? Man's rocking speed hacks."
Yamamoto Mei: "…Umm. That's—"
Luo Hao: "Then others can simply gang up on him. Justice in numbers!"
Miyuki Uchiha: "That's right—we can straight up jump his ass! No 1v1s, this ain't a shounen duel—it's hands, immediately."
Nerona Jaeger: "..."
Jaeger raised an eyebrow, speechless.
So many maniacs packed into one chat… it was only a matter of time before they started casually strategizing how to jump him.
But honestly?
That's what made these chats fun.
Even if half of them clearly needed therapy. Or a time-out.
Probably both.
And honestly what was the point of being strong if you didn't flex a little?
"W-What was that power?"
Still coughing up blood, Akainu looked up from the deck, his voice low and shaken.
That slash—he'd never seen anything like it.
There was no visible Armament Haki. No Conqueror's Haki. And yet… it had bypassed his magma body completely.
Like the laws of nature just stepped aside for it.
Jaeger, still holding the fading golden sword, gave a half-shrug.
"Noble Phantasm."
He said it casually, like he wasn't sure how else to explain it.
Akainu's eyes widened.
"Noble… I see."
In his mind, the words clicked into place. A secret likely known only to Celestial Dragons.
Something beyond even the Navy's top clearance.
He nodded slowly—blood still dripping from his lip, but eyes burning with newfound respect.
Jaeger didn't bother correcting him.
"So, Akainu," he said, casually resting the golden sword on his shoulder, "what do you think of the strongest sword technique in the world?"
Akainu didn't answer right away.
Instead, he staggered—blood still dripping down his side—but forced himself to stand. He straightened his back, lifted both fists, and saluted over his chest with a soldier's resolve.
Jaeger blinked.
"…What's that supposed to mean?"
Akainu gritted his teeth, fire smoldering in his eyes.
"A true soldier never takes a wound to the back."
"Hit me again—this time from the front!"
Nerona Jaeger: "…"
Yamamoto Mei: "…?"
Miyuki Uchiha: "Pfft—HAHA! What is this?! Did Akainu get possessed by Zoro and Yujiro Hanma at the same time?!"
