Akainu did not flinch.
Instead, he sneered—and swung his magma-coated fist upward.
"Great Eruption!"
A wave of molten lava roared forward, distorting the air, colliding head-on with Garp's Haki-infused strike.

The impact was apocalyptic.
A shockwave exploded outward, vaporizing the conference room, shattering windows across Marineford, and collapsing several nearby buildings.
Hundreds of Marines were blown skyward, buried under debris, screaming in confusion.
Many believed a Yonko had launched an attack.
"W-WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?"
Sengoku, Zephyr, Aokiji, and a few others remained standing, unharmed but their eyes widened as they looked toward the center of destruction.
There, fists locked together, stood Garp and Akainu, neither pushed back an inch.
A draw?
"No…" Vice Admiral Tsuru narrowed her eyes.
"Garp… is injured."
"WHAT!?"
"IM-IMPOSSIBLE! HOW COULD VICE ADMIRAL GARP BE WOUNDED—BY SAKAZUKI!?"
A sweep of Observation Haki confirmed it.
Akainu's uniform was torn and singed.
But beneath it, he was unscathed.
Garp, however, bore several patches of scorched, bubbling flesh.
The smell of burnt skin lingered in the air.
They were negligible wounds for a titan like Garp—injuries he could shrug off with a hearty meal—
But the message?
Earth-shattering.
A Marine hero… beaten back by a younger Admiral.
A clear defeat.
"Haha! Not bad, you little brat."
Garp withdrew his fist, grinning like a man half his age.
Akainu's face remained cold, but internally—even he was stunned.
Under Jaeger's Strength Enhancement Necklace, his power had more than doubled.
Not a simple additive boost—
a multiplicative leap, nearly tripling his combat output.
And even with all that…
he had only barely managed to injure Garp.
"These old men… Sengoku, Aokiji, Tsuru… they will never truly follow Jaeger-sama. They're too gentle. Too sentimental."
Akainu swept the room with a hard gaze.
"So… about what I said earlier—Roger's woman. Any objections?"
Silence.
Sakazuki had proven everything with one blow.
He wasn't just ahead of Kizaru or Aokiji in rank—
he now possessed the overwhelming presence to rival Sengoku the Buddha himself.
"I don't know what's happening between Sakazuki and that Celestial Dragon, Jaeger… but at this point, he's clearly under their wings. Sengoku… your position is in danger."
Fleet Admiral Kong clapped loudly, snapping everyone back.
"Enough! Save the injured!"
"Yes, Fleet Admiral Kong!"
Marines rushed out, minds spinning with implications.
Garp and Sakazuki had survived their clash—
but dozens of weaker Marines had not.
Meanwhile — Mary Geoise
Unaware of the chaos at Marineford, Jaeger and Stussy strolled leisurely toward their palace.
Halfway there, the Multiverse Chat Group lit up again.
Time inside the group flowed uniformly—
but outside, it varied across worlds.
To Jaeger, only a single day had passed since the broadcast.
But in the Naruto world?
Several days had raced by.
And chaos had erupted there too—
Uchiha Miyuki: "DAMN IT! Mikoto-onee-san got ambushed by Iwagakure shinobi!! They tried to kidnap her to mass-produce Sharingan babies! Those stone-headed degenerates need to be ERASED!"

Esdeath: "Pathetic. A true conqueror like Jaeger would've already slaughtered Iwa and mounted their Tsuchikage's head on a wall."
Nerona Jaeger: "...…."
Luo Hao: "Then prove yourself, Miyuki. With that so-called 'Perfect Goddess Training System,' you should be flattening villages, not whining."
Uchiha Miyuki: "I—I can't!! I'm escorting Kushina right now! She's the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki! My precious fiery angel! I MUST protect her!"
Kasumigaoka Utaha: "Tch. So you're cheating on Mikoto with Kushina now? Uchiha Scumbag detected."
Sakura Tosaka: "Ooh~ New nickname! Scum-yuki!"
Uchiha Miyuki: "S-STOP IT! DON'T MAKE IT SOUND LIKE I'M A VILLAIN!"
Uchiha Miyuki: "Anyway! Focus! I have news! The chat group gave me permission to post a mission!"
