"I need your opinion on something."
Marcus said as their plane touched down at Teterboro Airport. They'd spent the flight back to New York working side by side,
"What kind of opinion?" Aria asked.
"Professional. There's a collection coming up for auction next week. Renaissance drawings. The authentication seems solid, but something feels off." He gathered his laptop. "I want you to look at the documentation before I commit to bidding."
"Okay?"
They were driven directly to Marcus's penthouse in Tribeca.
"Your things will be moved over this week," Marcus said as they entered. "But for now, just bring whatever you need from your apartment."
"We might need to make some changes. Add some warmth."
"Whatever you want. This is your home now, too. Make it feel like yours."
They spent the afternoon unpacking the few things Aria had brought with her. Marcus insisted on helping, which mostly involved him distracting her with kisses and wandering hands every few minutes.
