Chapter 15 - The Lord of Light

(Third Person POV)

Aemon scowled as he dismounted from his horse, "W-What the hell do you think you are doing?!" He exclaimed, "Cease this!!!"

Cyrus simply looked at him, "What are you going to do about it?" He asked, a challenging tone in his voice, "I simply dare you to try."

Torys and Erys looked at Cyrus with widened eyes, a look of realization coming across their faces. The other men were also staring at him with shocked expressions, their entire bodies trembling slightly.

The other men who had attacked Cyrus were scrambling away, running in a panic as they shouted in fear.

"What the hell is that?!" one of them yelled

Torys stepped forwards, "It's you." He said, "I cannot believe it...."

Cyrus looked at him, "huh?"

"Flames....." Torys got on his knees, "Your body is but a vessel of your power, My Great Lord...we are here to serve you....."

Erys and the others got on their knees, "Great Lord of Light, guide us please." Erys said as he prostrated to the ground, "Guide us, Our Lord."

Cyrus narrowed his eyes, "What are you talking about?"

"It is you, Lord Cyrus." Torys said, "If that is what you wish for us to call you. This was but a test for us, we did as we believed was right."

Baelon stepped forwards, "What is going on?"

Cyrus looked at the cultists, "I have no clue what you are speaking about." He said, "Lord of Light.....?"

"We have been graced with your presence, Great One." He said, "It is your word that guides us. Theros was but a fool...to think that he would insult your teachings personally, having you come to pass judgment upon him personally."

Cyrus looked at him, "Enough of this." He said seriously, "Get on your damn feet."

Torys and the others reluctantly stood up, looking at him with nervous looks on their faces. They truly believed they were before their Lord of Light. Cyrus simply looked at them with an annoyed look, pointing past them and to the building.

"You imbeciles knew that this place was a fighting ring, having children fight for profit." He said, "What do you have to say about that? Huh?"

"My Lord." Erys said, "We only found out recently. We-"

"I don't want to hear excuses." Cyrus said, "Who is the one responsible? I want this resolved. Now."

"Yes, Great One." Erys nodded as got one knee, "We will have this resolved as you desire. We-"

"Don't get on your knee for me, you idiot." Cyrus turned around, "Get it fucking done, dammit."

"Do you wish for us to bring him to you?" Torys asked, "The Snake."

"I don't care what you do."Cyrus said, "I don't want the lives of innocents to be played with, it disgusts me. As for you, Princes!!!"

He stepped forwards and looked at Baelon and Aemon, who were watching, the other group of Knights staring at him with wide eyes. All of them were completely baffled at the display of power from Cyrus.

"What.....?" Baelon asked, "What is it you want?"

Cyrus pointed at him, "Your Father is King?"

"Yes." Aemon nodded, "What of it?"

"I want an audience with him." Cyrus said seriously, "Make it happen. If you don't, I will set the streets of Fleabottom ablaze, cleansing it from the filth that stains them. Do you understand what I mean?"

"So you're the one who actually-" Aemon started

"I didn't kill innocents." Cyrus cut him off, "But what I saw in there, it reminded me of the injustices that took place where I was from. I have the opportunity to do something about it now and I'll be damned if I don't take advantage of it."

"And what do you want from our Father?" Baelon asked

"I am going to set things straight." Cyrus said seriously, "I am not the one you imbeciles wanted. I just dealt with him, as you saw. But your Father, the King, it is unacceptable that things like these happens under his nose. No.....it is unacceptable that things like these happens under all you royals' noses! I will have him answer for this, a King must represent his people!"

"And you?!" Baelon scowled, "Are you going to answer for your crimes?!"

Torys stepped forward, "Our Lord answers to nobody." He said seriously, "The Lord of Light's flames will cleanse who he deems filth. His way is absolute and no King can oppose him, much less a Prince."

Aemon narrowed his eyes, "You think he's your god, Cultist?"

"You saw it." Torys said as he got one knee, "His body is made out of flames, his heat is radiating, and his fire....cleanses the filth of anything it touches. He is our Lord, that much is true. I-"

"If I am your lord, why do you speak in my presence?!" Cyrus scowled, "Quite rude, ain't it?"

"I humbly apologize, My Lord." He said, "I-"

"Enough of this." Cyrus said as he looked at the Princes, "Get word to your Father. I am heading to the castle tomorrow at midday, make sure he receives me. And I don't need to remind any of you what happens if you try anything."

"Tch..." Baelon said, "Fine then...."

Cyrus turned around and began to walk away, "I'm out of here." He said seriously, as he looked at the others, "You lot. Make yourself useful and get the children to safety. Go in there."

Erys looked at the other men, "Let us go." He said, "Our Lord has spoken."

They walked inside the building, carrying out Cyrus's orders.

Torys looked at the Princes, "You should be thankful." He said seriously, "Our Lord has decided to grace Westeros....and he has appeared in this city, deciding to cleanse it of the filth."

"You damned Cultists." Baelon grumbled, "This is nothing but a farce."

"How can you explain his power, dragonlords?" Torys asked, "You ride on fire-breathing beasts, granted by Our Lord himself. He-"

"Enough." Aemon said, "We have no time for this. Baelon, let us go."

"We're done here."
