As I sat back down in the corner and picked up one of the books. "The basics of Magic Forging." The title read as I opened it. The first page explained that there are five types of rankings for magic weapons.
The first one is common: when the weapon has one magic type. With every added magic type, it increases in rank. Two magic types make it Rare, three make it Epic, four make it Legendary, and five make it Divine. But no one has been able to make a Divine weapon in tens of thousands of years.
To make them, you have to understand the needed patterns of the type of weapon you are making, but you can combine them. But this is a risky undertaking as it requires a massive amount of mana, and it has an increased risk of magic explosions. Destroying the weapons and risking the forger's life.
I see that you can combine them, but it comes with a risk of destroying them and possibly killing the person trying to do it. As I pulled out a pair of .45 ACP rounds, one being lighting and one being wind. As I did that, the Princesses finally made it to the corner as they watched me looking at the two rounds, confused.
"What are you doing, Colt?" Luthien asked me, making me look at them as I spoke.
"I plan to combine two different common rank magic weapons," I said, making one of the princesses gasp. "You can't, Sir Colt. It's too risky." The princess who spoke was Thalassia. I smiled gently at her before speaking.
"I need to do this, as I will have a better chance of getting your sisters back, along with getting back a person I care very much about," I said before making a pair of pliers, removing the magic bullets from the casing, and pouring out what looked to be purple-colored gunpowder, as the screen went off.

I looked at the notice, tilting my head as I thought for a moment. If I used this on regular rounds, would it increase the rounds' viability, in turn improving their power and penetration? As I was lost in thought, a voice brought me out of my mind. "Colt?" Luthien said as I pressed yes and moved on.
Putting the Magic Gunpowder back into the casings and storing them as I looked at the two bullets. "Did you bring the crystals?" I asked as I looked at the rounds, and Luthien spoke.
"Yes, we did." She said, knowing I wasn't going to change my mind about combining the magic weapons, as she walked over, putting the cests on the floor, and I stored them. "I need a place where no one can watch me, and it's big enough as not to risk destroying the place," I said, storing the rounds and looking at the picture in the book. It was the diagram that needed to be written on the ground.
"Lead the way, and can you send someone to bring an item called magic dust?" I said while I store the books. Magic Dust is what is used to draw the diagram on the floor. It is a key component of the whole thing; it's a common item used to make magic weapons.
The princesses sighed, knowing I was a stubborn man risking my life even though they didn't want me to. But they all felt a touch of happiness, knowing that I cared enough about them and was willing to risk my life to save their sisters, even at the cost of my own.
Two of the Princesses left to get the Magic Dust, as the rest led me to a room that was three hundred meters wide and tall. "This is used for gatherings with a large number of people. You can use it, as this is a backup room and we don't use it often enough to care if it gets ruined." Luthien said, making me nod.
I pulled my knife out and started to trace the diagram on the floor. As I finished, the other two princesses returned. "We brought the magic dust, Sir Colt." They said, as they pulled it out of storage and placed it in front of me, that when I touched it, a bell rang.

I pressed yes and moved on by laying the Magic Dust on the traced outline as I finished it. The diagram was five feet by five feet, as I placed the two bullets on two circles and stepped back. "Ladies, please leave the room. I do not want to put you in danger if something goes wrong." I said as they looked at me for a moment and bowed before leaving.
They were all worried because what Colt was doing was very risky. But they knew they couldn't talk him out of it. As they closed the door, I walked over to a place where my handprints were traced. I needed to pour out my mana to activate the Magic Dust, which would begin the merging process.
Doing this will activate the Magic patterns on the bullets. This is the dangerous moment as the elements of the rounds will burst out. As I am close to them, the risk of being hit will be high, and if I move one of the handprints, the whole thing will become unstable and explode. That is why people rarely use this method, but I don't have time to learn how to make them from scratch.
Placing my hands down and closing my eyes as I followed the instructions, I felt my mana move out of my hands and the sound of the Magic Dust bursting into flames as the diagram began to burn. The two rounds started to float as lightning and wind burst out as I opened my eyes. The two bullets began to move towards each other.
As lightning struck the wall and ceiling, and wind blades burst forth, cutting a deep cut into the ground six feet away from me. The room filled with wind and lightning as I looked at the two rounds getting closer as they started to merge. The Magic began to hit closer to me until a wind blade struck my ear, cutting it as I grit my teeth.
Come on, you two fuckers merge already, I thought to myself as the Magic became more violent and a lightning bolt shot towards me. I quickly lay down as it shot over me, not taking my hands off the spot. As the room started to get brighter and the Magic slowly began to die down until it stopped, a single round fell to the floor. I was sweating as I looked at the screen.
I lost half my mana, just doing this. As I stood up and picked up the round, a bell rang out.

Pressing yes, as I pulled out the casings and pulled up Creation Magic, making a Case Processing Machine. As I fixed the casing before putting the Magic Gunpowder back inside, then the Raging Tempest Bullet, clamping it in place, a new prompt popped up.
[Do you wish to learn the Semi-Rare Raging Tempest Ammo? Yes or No.]
Semi-Rare? Is it because the Magic Gunpowder isn't enough for a rare? I pressed yes, adding the Ammo to my list. Removing the Bullet once more and pouring the Magic Gunpowder out again, fixing the casing before pouring a little more. I kept doing this until a new prompt popped up.
[Do you wish to learn the Rare Raging Tempest Ammo? Yes or No.]
I smiled and pressed yes, not that I had fixed the Ammo. I was ready to test it out when, lost in thought, the princesses couldn't bear the quiet any longer and opened the door. "Sir Colt, are you alright?" A voice rang out.
"I am more than alright, ladies, it worked," I said with a big grin on my face, making them sigh as they started to walk in. I will have to wait to do the Epic rounds, as I don't want to bite off more than I can handle. But with this new Ammo, I feel like I can handle the Warish Empire without many problems.
"Ladies, thank you for your help. I have gotten what I desired today. I promise you I will save your sister. Mark my words, the Warish Empire won't know how to handle me." I said, giving them a wicked grin as they chuckled. The Princes bite off more than they can handle. As the princesses watched the man, they had become somewhat fond of him, getting stronger with each day.
They rubbed their stomachs, hoping to get pregnant by him, as any child born to this man will be destined to be strong. They could feel it in their souls.
