The cat was met by Nil sword which repelled it back.
Nil was not the one that was repelled this time but rather the cat King.
But Nil was still pushed back by some bit, however his footing that he have place in the soil held firm not making him fall.
"This cat King strength increased too much after overloading it's core." Nil mused.
He have provoked the cat by killing all it's kin wanting to get it enrage so that it will overload it's core.
He have a use for that overloaded core.
What he failed to account for is that the cat King strength will increase by so much.
And it is not that he did not account for it, he did account for it, the reason he was caught unprepared is—
In his own universe, in the game Genesis, the king cat strength does not usually increase by this much after it becomes enraged.
That is why he did not expect the cat King on this universe strength to increase by this much.
'It seems like change between the two universes is becoming apparent.' Nil thought.
Although he he did not expect the cat King strength to increase this exponentially, he have prepared contingency for it, in case something turned out differently.
Which is the skill he just activate now, a skill that is especially good at countering a very very fast opponent.
The King cat did not relent after it was repelled, it quickly stood up and sprint at Nil again, not even caring about taking a breath.

Nil locked the cat King in place as it tried to bite him, and when it saw that it's biting range did not reach Nil it clawed at him.
Seeing the claw coming, Nil had no doubt that it will reach him.
He could only dodge it now by either leaving the cat King and dodge the claw or taking the claw head on which is not an option.
Swiftly leaving the cat king, he distance himself from it with the sane swiftness but not without disabling one of its arm with an opening he found.
The cat King growled from the pain of one of its arm being disabled now limping beside it.
However it did not let that arm stop it and quickly run after Nil again, the anger and the overloaded core helping sooth the pain.
Now that one of it's arm has been disabled, it started leaving out too much spot exposed on it's body, with little to no cover for itself.
The pain itself started fueling it to kill Nil more.
"That's better."
Nil dodge a strike from it and follow with an attack from him.
Now that it has become a senseless/mindless beast, he now found too much opening.
The opening are so glaring that even an initiate swordman could spot them easily.
And it only took a while for Nil to hack it down, and as expected the system announce the kill immediately.

Nil directly ignore the message and rather bend down towards the King cat and started hacking at its head with his sword in order to bring out the core inside.
A couple of minutes later a colourless crystal like round object stood in his hand, gleaming much more than the rest of the core he have ever held, in fact it gleamed more than it should because if the core being overloaded.
Furthermore, if one is to look at the inside of the core in Nil hand one would be able to see 8 drop of liquid condensed inside it.
What is the most strange about the liquid is not that they are inside a crystal object, but because they stood separately. Even when Nil shake the core and the liquid touch each other they did not as much as react with each other or fuse and rather bounced back.
"This will do." Nil pocketed it in his inventory before he start harvesting the remaining of the cores from the rest of the cats.
Also, he brought all the dead bodies he kept in his inventory before out and remove the core from their head..
"What a harvest." He said after counting the cores in his inventory.
After the harvest, he count 73, coupled with the ones he have killed on the way to to cave which is 16, he now posses 89 mana core with him.

He ignore the system message and rather proceed to wait for around 30 minutes in order to replenish his stamina.
The earlier fight took a much more heavier toll on him than he expected, especially the skill Charge.
"That skill is one hell of stamina consumer." Nil complained.
The skill did not only consume mana to be activated but also stamina.
"Ahh." Nil exhaled, jumping down from the rock the cat king use as it's throne after he have replenish his stamina.
Now that he have finish killing probably all the adult cats in the cave, only their kitten will remain which he did not find anywhere.
And where to find them, Nil knew exactly where he should go search.
"Are they even called kitten?" He asked to the air quietly pondering if their younglings are called kitten.
Heading to the east side of the dungeon, he stop at the front of the wall there while sizing it up.
"I hope this is where it is located."
He silently prayed hoping that what he is searching for is in the same location as his universe.
Bringing out his sword, he slash at the wall with all the strength he could muster which the wall collapse immediately without the sword touching it.
However it was not the slash that caved in the wall but the shockwave he sent out of the sword.
If he had slash at the wall, the slash wouldn't have done more than just carve a straight line cut on the wall which is not the effect he want.

Laying in front of him is another tunnel that was previously covered by the wall which is now debris.
Stepping inside it, he received a message he have anticipated.
