Nil lips curled into a smirk as Genes did a quick revise of the skill, upgrading it from a mere Celestial grade to God grade.
The most highest grade a skill can go.

'What a wise king indeed, he have already seen our kingdom facing a problem and sent someone to solve it.' Sheng thought with reverence.
It seems he have completely bought the bullshit of Nil.
"Now, tell me everything you know about the demonic beast and demonic energy." Said Nil.
Taking a deep breath, Sheng spoke. "The place I sent you earlier is not the only place that has been transformed by demonic energy."
"There is also another place, somewhere near the outskirts of the grave." Sheng pause subtly, then continue.
"That place have even more demonic energy than the silent forest, furthermore the strength of the beast there are even more terrifying."
"Is that where you almost lost your life?" Nil interrupted.
He remember that before Sheng gave him the quest he had said the crazy beast Nil will fight are very very powerful, that he even almost lost his life to them.
However the silent forest that Sheng sent him to, the crazy beast— demonic beast there cultivation is not even at the peak of Liquid gathering realm, so it can only mean that the beast Sheng fought is another beast entirely or it is dead.
Now hearing of another place corrupted with demonic energy he knew that the beast Sheng fought is likely to be there, sensing from his tone.
"Yes, that is where I fought a very powerful undead beast and almost lost my life."
"Are there any other thing that I need to know about the area that was corrupted by the demonic energy?" Nil asked.
"Yes, there are. Since three days ago that I have encounter the demonic beat I have constantly being going to the area in order to gather more information about the beasts that have been turned demonic by the demonic energy.
I've also been gathering information about how powerful and how many of the beast are there."
"Do tell, Sheng." Nil said resting his hand against his chin.
And Sheng start divulging everything he knows about the demonic beast, how many of them have been transformed and how powerful they are.
What a gullible person, he seems.
But still, he cannot be blamed because the Peak Shadows are not people the like of Sheng dare mess with and what he has to see in order to be able to prove that someone is a Peak Shadow, Nil have already show him.
"And I strongly suspect that some demons have found some way to reach Aurbloom." Sheng concluded.
"So, I implore you that you eradicate the threat of demons and bring peace to Aurbloom again."

Nil mouth twitch looking at the reward line.
That is what he get for acting like an envoy of Peak Kingdom, their vassal kingdom does not pay the Peak Shadow, but rather send tribute and other things to Peak Kingdom while the Peak Shadow only get to be payed a meager amount, if they are even paid anything, that is.
"Not a word about my presence to anyone." Nil said not wanting any more trouble.
He have brought enough trouble to himself as it is by impersonating someone from the most powerful Kingdom in the most powerful continent.
"Why is that? I have to tell my King that the issue of the demonic energy is about to be resolved."
"Not a word to any living being, you heard me?
That is how the Shadow wants to act now, and it is not in your place to question my action. Or would you rather favour I wipe your memory of your encounter with me?"
Sheng shook his head.
"Well, that's what I'd say, goodbye." Nil said dissolving into shadow as he left a sentence behind.
A sentence which says...
"The shadow is the blade of Peak and the Peak.. wills the shadow."
"What a fearful person. The Peak Kingdom really have some powerful freaks under them." Sheng mumbled.
Raising his hand a bit he could see a cut, it does not even look like a cut but like a bruise rather, and that bruise has been infused with shadow essence making the bruise bleed black not red..
And that bleed quickly clot, making have have a mark on his hand.
"I'm always amazed at how these people's are able to do this without me detecting them. If I had a doubt before, this confirms it.. he is part of the Peak Shadow.." Sheng smiled faintly.
The mark is something the Peak Shadow always give someone that have had an encounter with then before.
And looking right above the black, shadowy cut on his hand, he could see two more which signify that he have had an encounter with the Peak Shadow twice before meeting Nil, and the encounter with Nil make it the third time.
"I still don't know why the Peak Shadows like branding people that have encounter them with that mark." Nil mused as he rise from a shadow in an alley.
Of course, he knew the reason why, he just love contradicting himself at times.
And how did Nil know of the branding?
More importantly how did he know of the Peak Shadows?
