"Okada…" muttered a second-year male student, hopelessly calling out the name of his friend as he watched him slowly rise up.
"Damn it!" he shouted in frustrated anger, realizing the grim truth—that his friend wasn't getting up because he had recovered from his wounds, but because he had now become one of the undead, just like the rest of those lurking outside the infirmary.
"I'm sorry about this!"
Resolving himself to do what was necessary to survive, he gripped the metal IV pole so hard that he couldn't feel his trembling hands as he repeatedly bashed the head of his—no, what used to be his friend.
"This isn't good… Neither the police nor the firefighters are picking up."
Meanwhile, the school nurse, Marikawa Shizuka, was nonchalantly analyzing the situation, as if she hadn't yet grasped how dangerous it truly was.
"Even after being treated, everyone who gets bitten dies… and then those who are bitten come back as the living dead. This is just like a Romero film."
"Is this really the time for that?!" shouted the student, right after beating his undead friend back to death. "We have to get out of here, Shizuka-sensei!"
"Hold on," Shizuka said, grabbing the medicine bag from the table. "I want to take everything I can carry—"
"Please hurry—"
As they turned around—the student looking back at Shizuka to make her rush, and Shizuka heading to the cupboard beside the window—what they saw caught them completely off guard.
"Gaaah—!"
"Gyaaah~!"
The student screamed in surprise upon seeing a large, muscular man straddling the now open window that had been closed just a moment ago. Shizuka, on the other hand, first noticed the massive bulge in the man's trunks as soon as she turned around, only seeing the man himself after she stumbled backward and fell to the floor, screaming in shock.
"A pervert undead!" Shizuka shouted.
"I'm not, Shizuka—" Nach tried to explain, only to pause mid-sentence when he realized she wasn't entirely wrong. "—At least the latter part wasn't true at all."

Going back a few moments, before Nach, Kyoko, and Imamura made their escape from the broadcasting room—
"Pervert—"
—Crack!—
Kyoko was about to lash out at Nach, but right then, the inner windows began to shatter, overwhelmed by the undead swarming in the hallway.
We have to get out of here, Nach thought, using the Reader's Viewpoint to check on the other main characters and decide where to go next.
Takagi Saya and Hirano Kohta were now leaving the science room after eliminating the undead that had attacked them using the gas-powered nail gun Kohta had assembled. However, unlike in the original story, instead of heading to the faculty room, the pair was going upstairs toward the rooftop, following Kyoko's instructions from the second broadcast.
Busujima Saeko, on the other hand, was already on the upper floor at the staircase leading to the rooftop, defending the barricade with Takashi, Rei, Hisashi, and the other students.
"Ehh—!" Nach exclaimed suddenly, catching Kyoko and Imamura's attention.
If Saeko is already on the upper floor, Nach thought as he checked on Shizuka with the Reader's Viewpoint, then there would be no one to save her!
"Grab those curtains—we're getting out of here!"
Although she wasn't sure why they needed curtains, Kyoko yanked them from the window and passed them to Imamura before climbing outside through the broken window.
Before Nach followed, he knocked over the filing cabinet, blocking the doorway to at least slow down the undead. Then he dashed toward the window, jumped out, and landed on the ground, kneeling in front of Kyoko.
"Let's go to the dorms—the undead shouldn't have reached there yet," Kyoko suggested, knowing it would be too dangerous to try forcing their way through the ground floor swarming with zombies just to reach the rooftop.
It was a good plan—but Nach, of course, needed to save Shizuka. But before that—
"Wait… What are you doing—Gyaah~!"
While kneeling in front of Kyoko, Nach grabbed her skirt with both hands and tore it apart, exposing her right thigh all the way up to her hips, giving a teasing glimpse of her erotic panties.
The erotic sight gave Imamura a nosebleed, while Nach received a hard smack on the head courtesy of Kyoko, whose face had turned bright red from embarrassment.
"Would you stop doing perverted things, you bastard?!" Kyoko shouted.
"I wasn't, though," Nach said as he stood up. "You won't be able to run in that skirt."
It was the same thing Saeko had done to Shizuka in the original story. With the two of them in different locations, Nach felt it was now his responsibility to recreate that scene. And if he was going to do it with Shizuka, then he might as well do it with Kyoko.
"Let's go," he said, grabbing Kyoko's hand. "Please guide us toward the infirmary, Hayashi-sensei."

Upon reaching the infirmary after eliminating a few undead by smashing their heads with large rocks, Nach opened the unlocked window and climbed inside.
"Both of you, get outside through the window!" he shouted before jumping down, grabbing the infirmary bed, and shoving it into the undead that was about to grab Kazu Ishi—the student with Shizuka.
"Stop dawdling and hurry up, Marikawa-sensei!" Kyoko shouted from outside, getting Shizuka's attention.
"Hayashi-sensei?"
Seeing Shizuka nonchalantly looking around—as if trying to comprehend the confusing scene of undead chaos, a pervert fighting them off, a male student she couldn't remember the name of, Hayashi-sensei's torn blouse under her coat, and another student holding a bunch of curtains with a bleeding nose—Nach realized she wasn't going to move anytime soon.
He pushed the undead back out of the infirmary, let go of the bed, grabbed Ishi by the shirt, and hurled him outside through the window toward Imamura. Then he picked up Shizuka, slung her over his left shoulder, and jumped out after them.
"Let's go behind the science room, Kyoko!"
"I said call me Hayashi-sensei!"
