Chapter 11 - Glimpse into the Divine Sword Arts

Two days later,

In the past days, Vivianne has grown quite attached to Rahu; the way she looked at him changed quite noticeably; his handsome, otherworldly face also played a part in this.

There was a deep fire in her eyes, as she continued to observe him, that fire was slowly turning into something else which she wasn't aware of.

By the fifth day, as they finished their afternoon training, Rahu couldn't help but notice the changes.

His mastery over the sword had improved drastically; he was a natural-born warrior through and through.

Even though his forbidden physique hadn't granted him any offensive abilities, his instincts, aptitude, and wits alone were more than enough to master the sword.

"Alright, since your mastery has reached an early intermediate rank, we can begin to lay the foundation for the Divine Sword Arts," Vivianne said. She herself couldn't believe what she was saying.

Just in the span of two days, he had reached an intermediate rank without a prior sword foundation in his life.

If he weren't a genius, pigs might as well start teaching philosophy.

Rahu nodded and walked towards her, reaching out a hand towards her. He grabbed her waist, pulling her. Eliciting a soft yelp from her.

"Y-you, W-what do you think you're doing!? Release me this instant!" she cried out in alarm, but made no move to push him. If she wanted, she could easily get away, given her strength.

Rahu rolled his eyes at her actions, "Sweetheart, you should realise by now that there's no escaping from me, you can run, you can scream or think otherwise—you are mine."

In the end, his voice turned darker, no matter how he smiled or played with her, at the end of the day, he was still…Rahu.

An opportunistic, lustful, savage, and hedonistic person, there's no way he will let go of this woman. Once he decides on something, he follows it to the end.

Vivianne's heart skipped a beat. She knew he wanted to woo her; he made it painfully clear when he teased her. But this? This possessive, dark side of his? She…she didn't exactly hate this.

Smack!

He spanked her ass for the nth time. She had gotten used to it; he had a weird fetish for smacking her bum for some reason.

"Alright, jokes aside, now continue." Rahu moved away from her, not before groping her ass a few times.

Vivianne nodded without saying anything, though her beet-red neck said otherwise.

"The path of the Sword isn't about Arts or techniques. Those are merely tools to develop our inner sword."

Though Rahu understood the gist of it, he didn't completely follow it either. Seeing his confused look, Vivianne continued,

"The path of the Sword is to achieve the ultimate–The Sword Ascendence, is what my master said, both body and sword become one."

"So basically…you shove a sword up your ass?" Rahu snorted.

"Shut it, bastard! It's your ass that's flexible enough for that, not mine!" Her serious persona crumbled in an instant. With a vein popping on her forehead. This guy was not serious at all!

"So what's the first stage? How does one begin this path?" He may joke around a bit, but this one was important because of the quest, so he had to take it a little seriously.

"The first step is Sword Sense. In this stage, one learns to sense their compatibility with the sword, and if attuned, they sense a pulse of life within the sword. Which sky-rockets their attack power"

"Oh"

"And that's exactly what we are going to do right now. To start with, the Divine Sword Arts, you need to have a Sword Sense."

"Alright, let's start.

"I'll share my insights with you as we go. It should help you grasp it more easily."

Rahu nodded and sat cross-legged.

Elsewhere

In a large residence, two figures could be seen sitting face to face.

One was a middle-aged man, who was missing an arm, elbow down, a huge scar on his face could be seen from his right eye till his neck, it was a horrifying sight one could watch.

His expression wasn't much better; it was filled with rage, pure unadulterated rage.

Yes, this was our dear elder, whose wife first cucked him, and to make it worse, almost beat him to death; if not for their matriarch's timely intervention, he wouldn't be sitting here right now.

Opposite to him sat a masked man, tall and muscular, though only his eyes could be seen. If one were to look closely, his eyes were cold, like there was no emotion in them.

The Elder, namely Mo'Rath, who had enslaved Rahu, because of some unknown reasons, slammed his fist on the table with a bang.

"Find that boy, no matter the cost. Liu Ming and Bai Ming are dead—I can feel it. It seems that the bastard somehow survived and ran off. I need him alive, no matter the cost. I'll fucking torture that bastard and deliver his head to that slut!"

Wronged, he had never in his life been so wronged! Amelia was a fine woman when he married her, though a bit cold and distant; she had never raised her voice against him, let alone trying to kill him.

All because of that boy! That slave! He didn't know how that meek, weak bastard hooked his wife to such a degree.

"Ten mid-grade Mana crystals"

Seeing the elder losing control, the masked man finally spoke in a cold voice. Making the Elder's head snap towards him in rage.

"Ten!? Ten fucking mid-grade Mana crystals for what—A no-name slave boy with no cultivation whatsoever!?"

Well, he wasn't wrong here; it was daylight robbery!

"First, that boy's condition and location are unknown; we don't know if he is even alive in that forest. Second—That forest is dangerous; we can't send low-level assassins, or we are bound to take losses. If he went deeper, we'll also need to deploy more manpower."

Saying that the masked man remained silent, letting Mo'Rath make a decision.

Mo'Rath gritted his teeth; the poor fellow was fighting an internal battle of pride and foolishness. After a good five minutes, Mo'Rath spoke,

"I need him alive or his body if he is dead."

The masked man nodded and disappeared, leaving the crippled man alone.

In the forest,

A sharp, brilliant light ray shone from Rahu's figure, enveloping the forest within a five-mile radius.

Vivianne gawked in disbelief. She stumbled a few steps back and fell on her butt. She pointed a wobbling finger at Rahu's figure.

"S-Sword Aura!?"
