[Fireplace]
The bright flames cast the room in tempting warmth, and each flicker of ember was a dance of beauty in controlled danger. For the occupants, it was a scenic experience made better with them huddled together under the knitted blanket that Faith found in one of the drawers. A welcoming gift from the cabin owner to solidify the home's welcoming feeling.
"Bo, this is almost as great as Christmas and I hate Christmas. " Jane stated, head leaning on his shoulder.
"I'll take the compliment. " He soothed her midnight hair. Looking at the other two body warm thieves, Faith was using his chest as a pillow, sitting cross-legged in his lap, a claim she made after dinner.
"Bo, don't forget to pat my head too~" she softly whined, completely lost in the comfort.
Bobbi was pressed to his left, fingers locked with his, chin resting on his shoulder similar to Jane. "I'd never thought my first time out of New York would be at a lakeside Cabin with a harem." She chuckled.
"Harem is too plain, it's the coven of Sanders." Jane boasted.
"Stop making it seem like a cult."
"But it is Bo, and you're service will be fulfilled soon." She smiled sinisterly with her fangs glinting in the light.
"Even with all my advantages, I doubt I could take you on Jane."
"Good to see you're not delusional."
Soft chuckles followed after her statement, they continued the banter with talks about lake swims, a mandatory wood chopping lesson with Bo and a hike that Jane promises not to summon spirits. As the night expanded, so did their bodies' need for sleep. Faith was the first to give in, softly snoring while being held by Bo. Jane didn't even try to fight it, letting the heat send her bliss and Bobbi made a valiant effort but the second she looked at Bo's reassuring look, she let her body hibernate. Bo to his part decided not to disturb the peace and just rest. Last he saw was their faces shinned by the glowing flames.
