Lucien read the talent description, still on the floor, but relieved of pain. The potential of the dimension, to say the least, was insane. It was crazy thinking about how useful it will be in the long run.

Although it was not yet comparable to some talents that started strong from the start, Lucien could see the potential of the talent, whether it was training soldiers, gathering resources, or even storing things.

"System, what is tier 9?" He asked. He saw the potential in the talent he got. Although he didn't know the tier scaling, he was sure that tier 9 was definitely one of the best.

[Tier 9 is the highest talent rarity.]

Another shock. He had pulled the highest possible talent from the very start.

His thought was interrupted by the ferocious howl from the wolves outside the barrier. This time around, he looked at them well, counting them.

"Just 3," Lucien muttered. "If I summon 5 soldiers, that should be enough to handle them."

He lifted himself from the floor and looked at the summoning gate.

"Summon citizens," he said.

A burst of golden light shone from the gate, blinding Lucien in its ethereal glow. The light dimmed, signifying the arrival of five people.

"Greetings, my Lord," the voices came. Lucien looked up, but saw no one. Instinctively, his head dipped low. His guess was right. On the floor, resting on one knee, with their heads slightly bowed, were 5 people, a woman and 4 men.

"Rise," Lucien said, trying to maintain his calm in front of his subordinates.

"Thank you, my Lord," they said, with another bow, before standing up.

Lucien was able to see them clearly in this way.

The woman among them was slender.

[Name: Tiara]

[Age: 24]

[Class: Unawakened, tier 0]

Lucien read through the status window that appeared before him, calmly. 'She looks older than her age,' he could not help but note mentally.

The others were men, one young boy with a glass, two bald men, and a single man. The man was the only one who could at least be a warrior.

[Name: Liam]

[Age: 32]

[Class: Unawakened, pseudo tier 1]

[Name: Andre]

[Age: 17]

[Class: Unawakened, tier 0]

[Note: Has a very high aptitude for engineering and research]

He checked the status of the muscular man and the young boy. He did not bother to check the two old men's own.

"Welcome to my domain, you are my first citizens," Lucien said. "My name is Lucien. You may address me as Lord Lucien."

They bowed, introducing themselves to Lucien by name as well. Although he knew most of their names already, Lucien still let them tell him.

"My name is Harold," one of the old men, the one with more vigor, said.

"Frederic, my Lord," the older man, barely standing, said.

"What can you people do?" Lucien asked, skipping pleasantries entirely. The place was dangerous, and he had to make good use of the 3-day protection.

"My Lord, my body is too weak to fight monsters, but I can still help in Domain Maintenance," Frederic spoke first.

Lucien nodded. He never had any plan to send Frederic to battle in the first place.

"I can cook," Harold said next.

Lucien nodded and turned to the rest of them.

Andre bowed quickly, avoiding the direct gaze of Lucien. "My Lord..."

"Don't worry, I know yours," Lucien cut him off before he could complete the sentence. The status already showed what he was good at; there was no need to ask again.

As for Liam and Tiara, there was no need to ask. They were going to be the first two soldiers of Lucien's domain.

"Liam, Tiara, I have three class change certificates: warrior, mage, and archer. Which do you want?" He asked.

"Warrior," both of them replied in an instant.

Class change certificates, one of the rarest things in the world, were being handed to them just for joining the domain; they had to grab the opportunity quickly.

There was just one problem: Both of them had their eyes on the same certificate.

Lucien furrowed his brows. He had not expected this result. Even Liam was surprised. Ladies, according to public knowledge, rarely liked the warrior class.

"Tiara, why are you choosing the warrior class?" Lucien asked. Liam, he understood, even his body was like that of a warrior.

"Nothing, my lord. I prefer to confront my enemies, rather than snipe them from a range," she said bluntly.

"But you do know that Liam is more suited for the warrior class."

Tiara nodded.

"Tiara, you can either choose to be a lifestyle professional or choose another class," Lucien said, plainly and coldly.

He was not going to reduce his already meager strength just because of her thoughts.

"My Lord, I choose archer class," she said after a bit of internal deliberation.

Lucien nodded and took out all the certificates from his pocket. The certificates were small, card-sized, with the name of the class boldly written on top.

Calmly, he handed the archer certificate to Tiara and the warrior's certificate to Liam. One lifestyle certificate each to Andre and Harold.

"Go ahead, use them," Lucien said. He wanted to see how it was used.

With all their strength, they ripped the certificates apart. Under the watchful gaze of Lucien and Frederic, their bodies were illuminated in a white, blinding light.

As the light faded, they all bowed again. "Thank you, my Lord," they echoed.

Lucien nodded, but his focus was more on the status screen before him than on them.
