Adam immediately Ran towards the individuals that were just randomly resting at the edge of a room not far away.
They were all soundly asleep.
Adam ever cautious gently reached where they rested. A sliver of confusion in his expression. He didn't know why they were still asleep in this hot desert.
As he drew nearer. he noticed their appearances. They were 3 people here, one was a man that appeared to be in his late twenties, with powdered blonde hair, he wore a formal white vest, blue tweed jacket and black trousers, the other one looked like a foreigner and there was a striking young woman with a very casual dress.
These don't look like the natives of this place, their mode of dressings are too formal, and different from what I saw when I searched the room. Could they be the cause of the destruction of this village? How! The don't seem capable of doing such things.
Adam immediately abandoned that idea and decided to wake them up, they are the only people he could seek help from and ask questions about what happened here.
He began to lightly nudge them to wake them up from their sleep. After a few more nudges, they began to slowly regain their lucidity as the slowly opened their eyes to take in the light.
As each of them slowly looked around, Adam was already standing waiting for them to stand up their pupils dilated as he literally standing behind the sun what seemed to appear as a halo behind him.
He calmly greeted them.
Hello, my name is Adam, he said with a warm smile.
The three of them looked at him with mixed expression apparently disoriented. The most awake of them replied.
My name is valentine, and these are my acquaintances, Leah and Ryan. Valentine calmly stated as he introduced the other two to Adam while he tried to steady himself.
The other two nodded slightly towards Adam with a hint of gratitude for waking them up before they were charred from the sun.
After a few moment of gaining themselves, Ryan, Leah, and Valentine slowly cast their gaze towards the ruins of the village near them, with bizarre faces.
Adam slowly observed the 3 strangers clearly, as he watched them look at the ruined village, thoughts began t flow in his mind.
Did they live here? Do they have any idea what had happened to this place. without being able to resist his curious mind he asked
Do you have any idea what happened to this village? Adam asked with a calm but curious voice.
He didn't expect them to answer even if they knew anything about what caused the village to be in such a state, he had to figure it out because that's where he woke up.
He stared as them. The carried mixed expressions on their faces and appeared in a dazed, Ryan, Valentine, and Leah instinctively cast their gaze to the thorny wall and the dream ruins beyond with.
After some time, Ryan said. We'll tell you what we know but first, lets get out of here.
