Time passed unnoticed as Zeros practiced his swordsmanship, and during this time, his skills became increasingly refined..

Suddenly, Zeros stopped swinging his sword, and at the same time, the samurai sword in his hand, which resembled a legendary sword, flashed with Purple gold light and vanished into the space as bubbles.

With a slight tremor of his mind, Zeros's consciousness vanished from the space-time continuum.

Inside the room.

Zeros opened his eyes as he lay on the bed. The Purple gold light in his eyes faded, and a hint of weariness appeared between his brows.

Outside the window, it was pitch black, with only a full moon hanging high in the sky and a few stars dotting the night.

Zeros sat up in bed, glanced at the situation outside the window, then at the clock on the wall, did some mental calculations, and muttered to himself, "Indeed, I lasted a little longer than yesterday."

Just now in the Time Space, Zeros used his mind to manipulate the River of Time, pushing it to five times the maximum time flow he could currently achieve. It was only when his mental energy was completely exhausted that he was forcibly kicked out.

Although he lasted only a little longer than yesterday, Zeros was very satisfied. According to this growth trend, it wouldn't be long before his mental energy was enough to support his daily consumption at five times the flow rate in the Time Space, so that he wouldn't be forcibly kicked out every time.

But by then, with a stronger will and spirit, I wonder if I'll be able to manipulate an even higher flow of time!

Zeros didn't think too much and collapsed onto the bed. In no time, he fell fast asleep because he was really exhausted.

...

Zeros's life in Loran Town was extremely uneventful. He spent most of his time traveling between reality and the space of time. After each training session, his time magic would increase significantly, and his understanding of time would also deepen. Although this increase was very slow, it was a steady rise in an extremely stable manner.

I believe that with time and effort, a qualitative change will inevitably occur.

And so, another week passed.

That day.

In the early morning, as the sun rises, warm sunlight streams through the window into the room, making the entire room bright and airy.

On the bed, Zeros, who was fast asleep, seemed to be affected by the warm sunlight. His eyelids twitched slightly, and then he opened his eyes, stretched his body, and got up from the bed.

Two hours later.

Outside the town of Loran, Zeros, dressed in a long black robe, emerged, still carrying the long object wrapped in black cloth on his back.

This was Zeros's first time leaving Lorraine since arriving in the town two weeks prior.

Without pausing, he headed straight south of the town, where, in the distance, one could vaguely see a continuous range of mountains.

Loran Town is only considered a medium-sized town in the entire Kingdom of Fiore, yet it is more famous than some large cities. The main reason for this is that Loran Town is backed by the Beast King Mountain Range.

The Beast King Mountains are a very famous place within the Kingdom of Fiore.

Throughout the entire mountain range, there exist many powerful monsters. These monsters are mostly mutated from some animals and beasts. The reason for the mutation is that these beasts have awakened magic.

Just like the difference between mages and ordinary humans, beasts that have awakened magic have a vastly different strength compared to other ordinary animals and beasts. These beasts that have awakened magic are collectively referred to as Magical Beasts.

The monsters are mostly concentrated in certain specific areas within the kingdom. For example, on Mount Hakobe, there lives a unique ape-like monster called the Vulcan. It is said that this monster is extremely perverse and has a particular fondness for human girls...

The Beast King Mountain Range is one of the more famous areas in the Kingdom of Fiore where monsters exist. It contains all kinds of monsters, and in the deepest part of the mountain range, there is a terrifying being whose strength is comparable to that of an S-class human mage.

For ordinary people, a mountain range teeming with monsters would naturally be considered a 'forbidden zone,' but for mages who love adventure and challenging themselves, it is an excellent training ground.

Furthermore, the kingdom frequently issues hunting missions to kill monsters in various regions, and the Beast King Mountains are naturally one of them.

For this reason, mages from various mage guilds can often be seen in the Beast King Mountains.

In fact, among those monster-hunting missions, there was one mission where the target was the strongest being deep within the Beast King Mountains—the 'Beast King'.

It seems that no mage has accepted the mission to hunt down the Beast King since it was announced.

It's important to know that the 'Beast King' is comparable to an S-class Mage. Moreover, the mission to hunt down the Beast King didn't mention much about its strength or methods, only stating that it was a powerful S-class monster, without any other details. Therefore, even the S-class mages from the major guilds were unwilling to risk their lives.

Because of the Beast King Mountains, many mages from all over the world have gathered in Loran Town, and Zeros is one of them.

His departure from Loran Town to the Beast King Mountains was precisely to test his strength and abilities.

After all, he had been practicing in seclusion for some time. He could clearly feel his strength increasing, but he had only simulated some of his techniques in his mind a few times and had no real combat experience.

The purpose of entering the Beast King Mountain Range this time is to use the monsters there to test them one by one, and hopefully make some breakthroughs in actual combat.

The moment he stepped into the mountains, Zeros immediately removed the black robe he was wearing on his head, revealing his handsome face.

He looked around at his surroundings, paused for a moment, then chose a direction and plunged into a dense jungle.

Within the jungle, rows of thick, round trees stand tall, their harmonious green hues filling the eye.

Zeros's figure moved through the forest. He had been in this jungle for two or three hours, but unfortunately, he had only encountered some ordinary wild animals along the way, which he dealt with in a few moves and also managed to get some food and shelter.

However, he never encountered any of those rumored monsters that had awakened magical power.

Just then, the sound of rushing water came from ahead, and Zeros quickened his pace. Soon, a small stream came into view.
