Synopsis: Before Gao returns to Japan, Hou wants to have one last Buddyfight. What kind of New Power did Garga receive? And will Hou surpass the one who helped re-ignite his spark?
In the following night after he gets back from his trip, an exhausted Hou returns home to his room. He sits down, legs crossed on the floor, and takes out his deck. And then he takes out Garga's new card and looks at it. His expression is stern as he remembers what Gao told him earlier before leaving the shrine.
Gao: It would seem that the shrine worked its magic once again. You & Garga proved yourselves to be true buddies.
Garga, who's transformed back to his SD form after gaining his new power, feels something inside of him.
Garga: I feel stronger...but it's like something that I've never felt before. Funny, I sort of understand how you feel, Hou.
Hou: You don't say... Never mind that, how long are you staying, Mr. Gao? Like are you leaving soon?
Gao: {smiles awkwardly} You don't have to call me Mister... And to answer that, I only have 4 days left before returning to Japan. And before you say something, let me guess, you want to fight now.
Hou: {Shocked} Ah?
Tasuku: It's written all over your face. We can tell ever since you fought him. Except are you sure?
Hou: {Confused} Huh?
Tasuku: Garga may have received a new power, but will he mix well with your deck?
Hou: {Realized} Ah...{Defeated} Oh...
Gao: {Shrugs} Sorry, kid, but Tasuku is right. Not gonna lie, I WAS going to agree to your request.
Tasuku: {Awkward} Gao, you really need to stop being hasty sometimes.
Hou: 3 days.
Both: Huh?
Hou: (Taps his chest) {Determined} Give me 3 days. On the day you leave, fight me one last time. How about that?
Everyone is quite shocked to hear the sudden reply. Gao, who looks Hou in the eyes, witnesses a spark. Hou's eyes had become very determined. But his resolve sparks something greater: Confidence. Gao smiles.
Gao: Heh. I like those eyes. Very well. KLIA 2. The airport runway. Don't be late.
Tasuku: {Flabbergasted} Wh-- Gao!!! (Defeated Sigh) Alright, I'll "reserve the table". Don't be late.
Hou smiles. When the memory ends, He goes "Okay Garga, Let's Get Started".
OP: Undead.
Immediately in their room, Garga summons the Gar Trio out of the deck with a loud voice.
Garga: GAR TRIO!!!
Naturally, the three appear. The three jump and land in superhero landing style. Everyone's very eager and confident.
Gar Trio: You rang us, Master?
Garga: I have received new powers once again. (Spread his arms & creates blue energy) And now, I shall bestow my powers unto you.
All of a sudden, rainbow energy sparks from his palms, and Garga's eyes glow blue. Energy fires at the three and they glow up as well!!! Hou blocks his eyes from the brightness.
Hou: Ah!!!
Garcat: Woah...this is incredible...
Gardog: I can feel so much power in me...
Garbird: And I don't feel sleepy...
The light is so bright that it shines through Hou's bedroom window. When the power has finished being spread. Despite being unable to be seen, the Gar Trio have acquired their new gifts once again. And Hou is feeling very confident.
Hou: You guys look amazing. Now I can work on my deck and--
But then after a 0.5 transition, Hou feels very grumpy as his right arm is placed under his chin.
Hou: I cannot do anything at all.
Apparently, during the last 10 minutes after the Gar Trio acquired new gifts, after the camera pans away from them, everyone works on the deck on Hou's Bed. The Gar Trio are currently in their original forms. Everyone's completely stunned.
Hou: It's been 10 minutes already and after so many suggestions, we couldn't rebuild the deck properly.
Garga: Chin Up, Hou. We can't give up just yet.
Garcat: But how, Master Garga? My head is really fried.
Gardog & Garbird: Same.
Garga: I'm aware. But we're not the type to give up are we? Just like the time we fought against Ranma.
Hou: Yeah but... what can we do in this case?
Just then, Hou's Mother came in and bring in some homemade porridge.
Hou's Mother: I've cooked you some porridge.
Hou: Oh, Ma. Thanks.
Hou then realized the porridge is different. The dish has extra seasoning, a chicken & some berries ??? This made Hou feel confused.
Hou: Uh... Why is the porridge... I don't know.
Hou's Mother: I figured I tried something new by adding a few things I can find to the Porridge. Some Ginseng Chicken, Strawberries & Blueberries & some extra seasoning.
Garga: Oh...That's...Unique.
Hou's Mother: {Shady & Menacing} You don't appreciate my cooking?
Everyone becomes startled & panics.
Hou: No No No. It's good. Okay? I'll eat it relax.
Hou's Mother: You better be. (Leaves dinner on his table) If I see any of you throw a single food from this very dish, I will take away your allowance for the week. (Leaves)
Hou: Buzzkill Am I right? I'm surprised she's able to create a dish with all the ingredients she could find. (Realizes) Wait, That's It!!!
Garga: {Confused} What's it?
Hou: Guys. (turns around) {Confident} We're going old school.
3 days later, At school, Hou packs his bag as school has just ended. Then some kids come to him and ask him to buddyfight.
Kid #1: Hey. Can you fight me?
Kid #2: And Me.
Kid #3: And Me!!!
Hou: I'm sorry kids. I can't. I have plans today.
Kids: {Frown} Aww...
Kid #1: You never want to buddyfight. You're the worst.
Hou: (Hit) That's kinda mean...But I'm really sorry guys. I need to go. (Runs)
While the kids Frown & Hou runs away, Masato & Daryl calls out to him.
Masato: Hou !!!
Hou: Huh? (Stops & Turns around) Yeah what's up, I don't have time.
Masato: What's going on man? Why do you keep declining?
Hou: I'm meeting someone. I gotta go. (Turns around & Run)
Masato & Daryl: HEY!!!
Hou quickly runs to a bus stop while Daryl & Masato chase him. He manages to hop onto a bus and pays the fee. Unbeknownst to him, Daryl & Masato also hopped on. When Hou notices this, he's in shock. Luckily, they reached to another bus stop and hopes off.
Hou: WHY YOU FOLLOWING ME???
Masato: Come On Man. Just tell us what's going on.
Once again, Hou's on the run; Jumping from Bus-to-Bus while being followed. Not gonna lie, Hou keeps making a bunch of goofy expressions while going left & right. This goes on until he finally reaches KLIA 2. Masato & Daryl are shocked.
Masato: KLIA 2? Why is he at an airport?
Daryl: Never mind that, how are we going to get in?
Hou finds an airport employee and when he does...
Hou: Hey. I'm Hou Ren. I have a special fight with Mr Gao Mikado to like buddyfight at one of the runways.
Employee: Oh!!! Mr Hou Ren. Go On. Take this special pass. Head to the runway 14L/32R. Mr Mikado's Waiting.
Hou: (Takes it) Thanks.
Hou taps the pass at the scanners and made it to the runways. He reaches the required the runway and finds Gao waiting in front of him on the other end in front of an airplane. He pants in exhaustion as he grabs ahold of his knees.
Hou: GAO!!!
Gao: Huh? (Turns around) There you are. Just in time.
Hou: (Pants) Yeah...Is that your flight?
Gao: Don't worry. It's a private plane. It's not going anywhere until I say so. Now, shall we get started?
Hou toss aside his bag and tightens his wrist wraps, unblock his collar and throws his deck from his pocket up high and catches it in cool motion. He becomes very confident and his eyes spark like lightning.
Hou: Yeah.
They both look at each other with confidence. Ion & Takokichi appears & the match is broadcast live.
Ion: Whenever there's a buddyfight, you can find me, Ion Nanana. Unbelievable, we're at one of Malaysia's international airports, KLIA 2. And what's this? The Ace of Games, Hou Ren & The Mighty Sun Fighter, Gao Mikado are facing off once again.
Daryl & Masato, alongside their buddies, who are all outside, are watching the broadcast from Daryl's Phone in shock.
Masato: WHAT? Hou's meeting Gao Mikado in Person???
Daryl: So that's why he declined...
Gao: Rumble & Tremble. The Almighty Storm that shatters heaven & earth. RRARGH!!! Luminize...Thunderous Warlord's Infinity!!!
Hou begins to luminize and as he does, thunder sparks behind him and he swings a glowing blue sword.
Hou: Overpower all that stands in your way. Command the Very Heavens itself. Luminize... Draknight!!!
Ion: Buddy....FIGHT!!!
Both: RAISE THE FLAG!!!
Gao: THUNDER EMPEROR'S FANGS!!!
Hou: Dragon World!!!
Ion: First Move Goes to Gao himself.
Gao: Draw. Charge & Draw. Equip...(Turns red) Batzz the Spirit.
Ion: Eh??? A New Item too???
Gao: You didn't think I'd be the same after what's what, did you?
Hou: Of course not!!! Bring It On.
Gao: Here goes. (Attacks)
As Gao attacks, He jumps in high and lands at Hou's behind. Hou turns around and Gao launches a pre-emptive strike by Lariat Him down.
Hou: AHHH!!!
Hou's Life: 10 -> 8
Ion: Gao Launches a Lariat on him. Talk about Pro Wrestling!!!
Gao: (Moves back) My turn is over. Now, Come!!!
Hou: (Gets Back Up) You asked for it. Draw. Charge & Draw. (Pays 1 gauge & 1 life) Equip...
Hou equips new golden dual gauntlets. It's semi-Large and squarish so to speak. He's ready to box. Box them like a fish.
Hou: Deity Dragon Gauntlets, Gar-Clutches.
Ion: WOAH. Hou's got a new item!!!
Hou: To the left, Awakened Deity Dragon, Garbird.
Garbird: (Awakens in his new form) Here I am, Bird!!!
Masato: {Freaks Out} When Did Garbird Evolve???
Agito: {Freaks Out} Did he change his whole deck???
Hou: To the right, Awakened Deity Dragon, Gardog!!!
Gardog: (Same action) This dog can't afford to lose.
Ion: ANOTHER ONE??? Wait, Hou!!! You never told us you got new powers!!!
Hou: Girl, I'm full of surprises. With Gardog's effect, I discard a hand card. I gain 1 gauge and I add (reveals Garga) Garga to my hand. Cast, Gar-Oracle. (Draws) Now watch this. Cast, Gar-Lit!!!
All of the sudden, all of Hou's forces are powering up with blue lightning around them, like super-Saiyan.
Masato: Woah...they're fired Up.
Cross: Intense...
Hou: Garbird!!! Attack the fighter.
Garbird attacks.
Hou: With his ability, REGAIN 4 LIFE.
Hou's Life: 7 -> 11
All: DID HE SAY FOUR????
Ion: How????
Hou: When Garbird's attacking power is over 10000, that's how. And Gar-Lit ensures that.
Garbird knocks into Gao's Gut, which he want out "OOOFFFFF".
Gao's Life: 11 -> 9
Hou: Gardog!!! Follow Him.
Gardog attacks but...
Gao: Batzz the spirit's ability!!! (Pays 1 gauge & Aura up)
Gardog's lands his claws and slices him on the side.
Gao's Life: 9 -> 8
Hou: {Shocked} Two Damage???
Gao: For this turn, I reduce all of my damages by 1.
Hou's eyes glow blue & his expression becomes extremely serious as he right fists up. He jumps up high and jump slams the ground so hard with both fists. The ground cracks open all of the sudden, earth comes out of nowhere and knocks him from below!!!
Gao: OWWWW. MY BUTT.
Gao's Life: 8 -> 6
Ion: WOAH. Hou Just Jump Slammed the Ground.
Hou: When Clutches's Power reaches over 10k, it gains one extra critical. (Attacks) DOUBLE ATTACK!!! (Attempts to Punch) AHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Hou successfully punches Gao's Right Face!!! His face just went squeezed LOL.
Gao's Life: 6 -> 4
As Hou lands besides his comrades.
Ion: HOU RIGHT PUNCHES GAO LIKE A PRO BOXER!!!! INCREDIBLE, I NEVER SEEN THE ACE OF GAMES IN A FIST FIGHT BEFORE.
Masato: For Share, Hou's being extreme today.
Daryl: He's not holding back.
Hou: [All Set...] My turn is now over. Consider that payback for the Lariat!!! Now, bring it on!!!
Gao: {Impressed} Heh. I like your spirit. I'm surprised you purposely let me drop my life points to 4. I suppose things would be boring if you didn't do that. In that case, (Pulls his belt) It's time to get serious.
Gao's Deck Case turns sideways and glows and he suddenly becomes Extreme too.
Gao: DRAW....CHARGE.... AND....DRAW!!! (Notices He Drew Batzz in shock) Cast. Dragonic Charge Plus. (Gains 5 gauge)
Ion: Woah!!! Gao just increased his gauge to 8.
Gao: MY MOST POWERFUL BUDDY!!! THE MOST POWERFUL DRAGON IN ALL OF EXISTENCE!!! I BUDDYCALL THUNDER EMPEROR DRAGON BARLBATZZ TO THE RIGHT!!!
Batzz: (Jumps In) I don't care whether you got Stronger Or Not!!! (Transforms) I, THE GREAT BARLBATZZ SHALL WIPE YOU OUT FOR GOOD!!!
Ion: THERE IT IS. Gao's Most Powerful & Terrifying Buddy, Barlbatzz.
Hou: In case you didn't notice, You bumped your Life Points to 5. If anything I knew you would buddycall Batzz right away. Meaning you can't use your full power. Don't expect me to be the same as before Ya Know.
Gao: {Impressed} So you were keeping everything in check. I like that. However, it's not that gonna be easy. I pay 1 life & Activate Batzz's the Spirit's Ability. (Powers Up) I gain 5000 power for this turn.
Garga & Hou: WHA???
Ion: OH SNAP. JUST LIKE THAT GAO'S JUST DRAINED HIS LIFE POINTS DOWN TO 4. I EXPECTED NO LESS FROM THE MIGHTY SUN FIGHTER!!!
Gao: Hou, I admit you've shown me courage. And it's incredibly fun playing with you. But today once again, I shall be the victor. (Holds out a card) Behold.
The card glows...
Garga: Here it comes...
Hou: Ready.
Gao: I EVOLVE THUNDER EMPEROR DRAGON, BARLBATZZ INTO THUNDER EMPEROR WARLORD, BARLBATZZ DRAGOROYALE!!!
Batzz roars out loud & wraps himself in a violent purple-ish tornado!!! His hands & legs suddenly bursts out and he emerges in his new form.
Batzz: The strongest monster in all of existence....IS ME!!! Barlbatzz Dragoroyale the FIRST!!!
Everyone but the fighters are shocked.
Masato: Woah...so that's Barlbatzz Dragoroyale...
Daryl: Can Hou survive???
Cross: I don't know. But this is exciting.
Gao: HERE GOES.
Gao suddenly has gold aura surrounds him and he strikes some sort of movement...
Gao: Thunder Emperor Warlord...
A gold symbol is slowly being drawn...

Slowly...
Gao: DRAGOROYALE!!!! (Slashes) OVER.....THROW!!! (Discards a hand card) WITH BATZZ'S OVERTHROW, I CALL SAINT HOLY THUNDER EGDE TO THE LEFT.
Chibi Panda: (Appears) I'm here once again!!! Saint Holy Thunder Edge is ready for battle!!!
Gao: WITNESS MY THUNDER EMPEROR'S FORMATION. YOU'RE GOING DOWN, HOU.
Hou: BRING IT ON. I'LL SURVIVE NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES.
Gao: CHIBI PANDA. ATTACK GARBIRD.
Chibi Panda: (Attacks) YES SIR!!! (Slashes Garbird)
Garbird: I'm done for real. (Destroyed)
Hou: Garbird!!!!
Chibi Panda: (Raises his sword) Double attack. Here I come Hou Ren!!!
Hou: Come.

Gao: BATZZ. THE GLORY IS ALL YOURS MAN.
Batzz drags his sword across the runway...

Ion: Batzz Just Sliced 3 Life Outta Him!!!!
Batzz: (Slashes Him) DOUBLE ATTACK.
Hou: AHHH!!!

Gao now attacks. All of the sudden, they both engage in a 1-on-1 fist fight!!! Both parties are not holding back. Both sides went...
Both: ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!
But then Hou suddenly enlarges his eyes and releases the attack by letting go & claps his hands. It's so hard that the force out of it knocks him back!!! Gao bumps on the ground twice. Luckily, he's able to land on his two feet. But the attack is not over yet as he flies forward while yelling.
Gao: AHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Hou: CAST. Deity Blue Dragon Shield. (Blocks)
Both players pant with exhaustion as they've given it their all.
Masato: {Geeking Out} They're Not Focusing on Defending At All.
Agito: {Geeking Out} What Passion!!!
Gao: Gotta Say...(pants) I haven't had such a blast in awhile. This is fun. Ain't that right?
Hou: You know it. You never know what's gonna happen in a Buddyfight. (Points at him) You Taught Me That!!!
Gao: True. That's what makes this game so enjoyable. However, My turn isn't over yet. Cast. Batzz X Link.
Gao looks at the top 3 cards and adds one to his hand. The other two to the gauge and he gains 1 life.
Gao: FINAL PHASE.
Impact Sequence...
Gao: (Grabs it) IMPACT!!! (Throws it & rush forward) TURBULENT THUNDER SPEAR....X TEMPEST.....ULTIMATE BUSTER!!!!
The Impact deliberately Hit the latter...or is it? Everyone's shocked first until Gao notices something's up. As the smoke slowly clears, Hou's Unharmed??? His Blue Aura engaged as his eyes become sharp.
Hou: (Reveals his spell) I cast. A solemn Vow. For this turn, No Damage From Impacts.
Gao: What?
All: HUH?
Ion: Say WHAT? HOU SURVIVED GAO'S IMPACT??? IMPOSSIBLE. THIS IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. LIKE I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE SURVIVES THE ULTI BUSTER!!!
Garga: {Smirks} Not quite. This is the Ace of Games we're talking about. Games are his territory and he never falls down easily!!!
Hou: Yeah!!!! A Solemn Vow normally requires 2 gauge & 1 hand card, but if my life points are less than 3, I don't have to pay cost.
Gao: I expected nothing less from the Ace Buddyfighter. My turn is now over.
Batzz: (Lands) Heh. He's not half bad.
Ion: Now All Eyes on Hou Ren himself. Can he pull out an Ace and turn the tables? Let's Find Out.
Hou: I'm not gonna lie, but We've done a lot of thinking before facing you. My guys and I came up with a bunch of different tactics. But sadly it didn't go as planned.
Garga: We want to either rush you, keeping your life points in check or just defend against your assault. Yet we couldn't decide one.
Hou: Then an Idea suddenly hit me. Instead of one, Why Not Do All Three Instead? That's why I earlier rushed you while keeping your life points to 4 & defended against your attacks.
Gao: Trying all three instead of one huh? I like it. Well then, Don't Keep Me Waiting. (Open Arms) Show me more of your new Power, Hou!!!
Hou: You asked for it. Draw...Charge...And....DRAW. It's your turn now. You who transcended beyond yourself once again. Arise here and now. I buddycall!!!
Garga enters and arises in his new form. His hands come out he takes full shape. Instead of many weapons behind him, it's a red cape instead. He now wears armor. And His name is....
Garga: (Appears) I go by many names...Worn many forms...But today...I AM...Gargantua Knight Dragon. (Yells)
Everyone's shocked.
Ion: WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT???? GARGA HAS EVOLVED TOOO????
Masato & Agito: Incredible...
Daryl: He's...
Cross: A knight.
Hou: Size 2. 10000 power. 3000 defense. A critical of 2. He who commands the heavens itself. Now has risen and shall take you down. But before that, I call Awakened Deity Dragon, Garcat to the left.
Garcat: (Arises) Surprise!!!
Ion: THERE'S GARCAT IN HIS NEW FORM. WOW.
Hou: When Garcat enters play, I draw a card. Allow me to introduce Garga's specialty: G Boost.
Gao: G... Boost?
Hou: Watch. Gargantua Knight Dragon, G BOOST ACTIVATE!!!
Garga: BEHOLD. THIS IS MY NEW POWER!!! (Super Saiyan)
All of the sudden once again, Hou's forces went Super Saiyan as they yell aloud and power up with Lightning!!!
Gao: Again??? Never mind that. Chibi Panda. Move to the center.
Hou: NO USE. GARCAT, CLEAR A PATH FOR ME.
Garcat: LEAVE IT TO ME!!! (Attacks) Since my power is over 10000, 1 damage to you. (Shoots Lightning)
Gao's Life: 4 -> 3
Gao: I cast. Batzz Stone, Ulti Emperor's Augite. (Blocks & Gains 3 life)
Note: The extra 2 life activates when the player's life is 4 or less. If not, he or she gains 1 life instead.
Garcat: Double Attack, Cat. Once Again, my ability activates!!!
After Gao takes damage. Chibi Panda was struck by Garcat's claws. While the latter revives with soulguard...
Garcat: PENETRATE!!!
Gao's Life: 5 -> 2
Gao: WHAT????
Ion: Garcat Can't Penetrate!!! And he only inflicts 1 damage. So How???
Garga: This is the power of G BOOST. At the start of Hou's attack phase, All of His forces gain 1000000 power, 2 critical and Penetrate.
All: 1 MILLION????
Masato: {Freaks Out} That means they can overpower any defense!!!
Daryl: {Stunned} Surreal...
Hou: Garga. Finish Him Off.
Garga: As you wish. (Summons a sword & attacks)
Gao: Cast. Thunder X Vanish. Chibi Panda, return to my hand.
As Garga's sword nearly lands and Chibi Panda becomes scared, he suddenly turns into smoke and vanish.
Gao: And I draw a card since my life points are 4 or less.
Garga: Double attack.
Gao: Cast. Arc Dragon Shield. (Blocks) I draw one card.
Ion: Gao's not taking this lying down. But now he's a candle in the wind!!!
Hou's charges up his gauntlets. The power pressures up big-time and...
Hou: Clutch.... (Punches) BREAKER!!!!
Gao: Cast. Thunder Emperor Dragon Shield. (Blocks) (Taps his heart) Hot....This is Hot....More.....SHOW ME MORE!!!
Hou strikes again.
Gao: I CAST. THUNDERBOLT MARK URN!!! (Blocks)
Both players are exhausted as they pants.
Ion: WOAH. DESPITE HAVING LIMITTED OPTIONS, GAO IS STILL SURVIVING. AND NOW HOU'S OUT OF ATTACKS. IS THIS IT FOR HIM???
Hou: It's Like You Said. My turn isn't over yet. FINAL PHASE!!!
Gao: {Shocked} Is that?
Hou: CAST. DEITY GARGANTUA PUNISHER.
Impact Sequence.
Hou: IMPACT....DEITY GARGANTUA PUNISHER!!!!
Gao watches as his former impact falls upon him. It lands and thus his flag is out. Everyone's shocked.
Ion: HE DID IT. GAME END. WINNER. HOU REN.
Hou: (Cheese) Yay!
Ion: Never in all of Buddyfight History where we see the Ace of Games defeat the Mighty Sun Fighter. Someone capture this moment right now.
Masato: That Hou. He never ceases to grow does he?
Daryl: So that's the power of G Boost. Very interesting.
Soon, it's time for the flight to leave...the two fighters stand before each other. Evening arrived by the way. Gao feels...laid back & groans.
Gao: Aww man. I almost got you.
Batzz: HA. Kid you flopped Big Time. That Bowl-Cut wiped you out good.
Gao: But anyways, I had a lot of fun. Promise me no matter what, you'll keep on fighting till the end.
Hou: Will I... see you again?
Gao: Maybe? If our paths cross... Until then, (puts on his hat and turns around) Farewell.
The two watch Gao and Batzz board their flight with smiles. Later when Hou & Garga exit the airport...
Daryl & Masato: Hou!!!
Both: Ah? (looks left)
The two Aces & the two buddies are surprised to see each other. They are 5 meters away from each other and the wind just said "Go On...Say Something".
