"Wait! you mean to tell me I could see his progress bar? that's awesome! "
I received his invitation at night and a pair of suit he called immediately after saying the suit was a dress code or something, his kinda suspicious because there was no dress code of some sort while I was reading about the story from the system.
Well anyways who cares free suit! for me!
I woke up from the insistent ringing from my phone it was disturbing my princely nap,I groggily took my phone and checked who the f**k was disturbing my nap time.
"Holy shit it's Gabriel that's calling me but the dinner time is by 7 pm so..whyishe disturbing me? Well I lay one way to find out" I said thinking I overslept.
I picked the call and heard Gabriel's concerned voice over the phone " Ethan why haven't you been answering my calls it got me worried I am minutes away from coming to your house,are you okay your not sick right?" He sounded worried
"Gabriel calm down am not sick at all am just waking up from sleep you woke me up and I have classes in the afternoon so tell me why you called".
" I just wanted to hear your voice I missed you that's all " .
' his suddenly being sweet and cute that's new ' I thought to myself blushing at his words.
"Y_You don't have to call me you will see me tonight anyway"I told him
" I just wanted to hear your voice I missed you that's why, if not that you have class today I would have invited you to my office to stay "
" O_Okay thanks for wanting to hear my voice even though we are not yet dating"
"Is that a yes or a no?"he asked,"I thought you said you would ask me of my answer after the dinner party so wait till then " I said
"Alright I need to get ready for school see you tonight then " I told him before cutting the call not giving him the chance to answer.
I got up from bed and I headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower, coming out all fresh and clean I wore my clothes and carried Lucy to the bathroom I forgot to bathe her yesterday.
She almost scratched my face while I was struggling to give her a bath but I did it I really need to trim her nails they are so sharp,I dryed her fur with a blow dryer while smoothing it with a comb.
When I finished she was all neat and tidy, before heading to school I made sure her cat food was well stocked and she was comfortable before I left for school,I don't know when I will be back but I know it's either today or tomorrow.
I reached school pretty fast, on my way to my locker I was receiving stares from all corners, it was quite concerning
I reached my locker only to find Johnny waiting for my there looking all agitated, I walked closer to him and asked "what brings you to my locker?"
"And why wouldn't I be here what is all this am hearing? you told a girl that you like guys do you want all the guys to be following you like bees?!"
"I get it okay? but I can't get her hopes up you know it's better to come clean so that when they see me with some guy they won't judge me " I told him
"You could have just said no, well you also make sense but now you are all over the school's forum everyone is guessing who you are dating and there even betting with money!"
"Don't worry about it you know latest gist am a night away from accepting Gabriel as my boyfriend by the way he asked me out last night and told me to answer him today isn't that insane?!"
"It's a lie, you are lying wait are you serious?" He said after seeing my serious face "so you would be dating the famous Gabriel Jones?! that's awesome, but am so sorry I wish I could continue talking to you but I have class in the next 5 minutes, I will call you so you gist me the full story bye" and with that he left.
' that murder f**ker if I catch him I will break him into two ' I muttered under my breath.
