Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: The Loot

Should I put all my free stat points into agility right now, or into strength? To fight these monsters, I need both strength and agility. And my agility is already good enough. I was dodging the monsters' attacks and countering without trouble. And with those potions, my Strength increased by 200 percent for 30 seconds. That was amazing. During that time I could even cut through the monster's skin when it was in its ultimate form. In this world, these potions are everything.

It will be evening soon. By the time I reach the village, it'll be almost dark. And leveling up erased my exhaustion anyway. Alright. Lavesh starts running, and in just five minutes he reaches Village LP-1006.

"This is what it means to have a title. And when all stats go up by ten… reaching the village hardly took any time," he says to himself.

When Lavesh arrives at the village gate, he sees a few players arguing with each other. While walking, he thinks that he should understand the architecture layout of the village since he is an architect too. Lavesh leaps in one motion onto the roof of a shelter apartment building. From there, he sees that the village has two-storey buildings, most of them square or rectangular, with some circular, pentagon, and hexagon-shaped ones. In the center stands a large five-floor structure that looks like a government building.

"I still haven't opened the three chests. Why not check them now?" he says.

A system window appears:

After all chests are opened, items will be stored in the inventory automatically.

Do you want to open Jarma monster chests x3?

Then his eyes stop on the teleportation scroll. Lavesh quickly takes one out.

A new system window appears:

Description: Teleportation Scroll

This can teleport you to a nearby village. You can also teleport to a specific village, but only after visiting it once.

The scroll can only be used once.

To use it, tear the scroll into two parts.

Does not work inside dungeons.

"What is this thing…? Something like this will be in huge demand soon. Even with my title, I only got ten scrolls. And these bombs and bows are amazing."

"Now, what is this Epic Rank Ring of Ferinus?" he says, and takes the ring out of the inventory. He puts it on the first finger of his right hand. The ring is bigger than his finger, but the moment it touches his skin, it shrinks to fit perfectly.

A system window pops up:

Connecting Ring of Ferinus to user Lavesh…

Connection in progress: 22… 55… 88… 100%

Another window opens:

Using this ring, the player can speak to anyone through telepathy. The user only needs to have seen that player once.

Mana consumption: 3 per minute.

"Nice item. The loot is really good for the first day," he says.

"Alright, now take out one Necklace of Northern Amulet," he says, and it appears in his hand.
