Every girl would wish to marry a billionaire husband, but what happens when you're offered to marry into wealth and you reject it?
Emma and Draken were in their now living room, while she helped him change his bandages. Afterwards she sat on the couch and he put his head on her laps unexpectedly and closed his eyes.
"What do you think you're doing?" Emma asked,
"Just let me rest here for a bit, I didn't sleep last night watching over you, it's your turn to repay the favour" he whispered, his voice slowly drifting.
Was he falling asleep? At that time of day?
Emma let him rest. She also watched him sleep.
She traced his jaw outline, this man was just so goodlooking even in his sleep, despite the bandage on his head.
He's been there for me in my tough times, the least I can do is be there for him too.

Her phone vibrated, someone was calling and it was her boss from the café.
"Hello sir" she spoke softly, not to wake up Draken.
"Emma, you haven't reported to work the last two days, are you on some kind of unpaid leave?" He asked her, clearly he was angry.
" No sir, I just got some emergencies" she replied, looking down at Draken who was still asleep.
"Your emergencies!! Well Emma, don't drag my business into your issues, I need you back here right now!!" He yelled through the phone before he hung up.
So much for a short break
She wrote a small note for Draken to read in case he woke up and replaced her laps with the soft cushions of the couch, so he could sleep more soundly before she left for the café.

" Thank God you showed up! Mr Barns almost killed me Emma!" Ruby, her co worker's, voice welcomed her as soon as she entered the changing room.
"Thanks for covering for me Ruby" she replied, dressing into her working clothes.
" So tell me, what happened to you? You look so different..." Ruby stated after taking a good look at her...she wasn't the same Emma from few days back who was always miserable.
This Emma was more lively.
"It's a long story but ....first look at this" Emma replied showing her the ring on her finger.
"Emma, are you married?" She asked surprised.
"Yes I am"
Ruby screamed, she was even more excited than Emma was.
"What!!! you got married!! Without telling me!!" She shouted.
"Sshhh, keep it down, I don't want anyone else finding out" she whispered.
"But Emma you weren't even dating anyone, who's your husband and how did you meet him?" Ruby asked.
Emma's mind drifted to the day the accident happened, how she'd picked him up, how they got married.
Thinking about it made her smile and blush.
"Look at you Emma, he isn't around but he still makes you blush and smile when you think about him.... you're so radiant....do you love him that much already?"
Love?? I didn't even think about that
" I'm not sure whether I like him or not...or love him" Emma replied before their boss came in.
"You two!! Get back to work and Emma, table 7 asked specifically for you" he said.
"For me??"
Who'd spare some time to come and see her

Her mind immediately thought about Draken, she rushed out and her smile immediately vanished when she saw the person.
It was Samantha.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
" Aren't you happy to see me sis?"
Obviously she wasn't.
"Take a seat, we need to talk and I paid a lot for your time" Sam said.
"What do you want?" She asked after taking her seat, across hers.
"I have a proposal"
"What proposal?" She asked.
"An offer to marry into wealth...Emma you can marry a billionaire and he'll take you out of this miserable life. You'll have your old life back and he'll treat you like a queen...." Sam replied.

" Emma, marry David Hunt, and you'll be out of this misery and dump you call a life"
"Samantha, No!! I won't accept your offer...you grew up in wealth, you'll be the perfect wife for that man not me, and I'm no longer a Dave, I don't want any connections to your family" Emma sincerely replied.
"But we are still a family even if dad kicked you out" Sam stated and all the more for her to be angry, but she thought about Draken and calmed down.
"Sam,it's time you actually grow up and stop living in fantasy," Emma replied.
"But how!! Why don't you want to marry into wealth?" Sam asked surprised. Any girl would wish fir that, but Emma was different.
"That's the difference between you and me Sam, we are worlds apart, but you'll never understand"
I can't tell you that I'm already married, it else you'll run off and tell your mother, she'll come for Ken and I don't want him to get hurt. I have him and that's enough atleast he won't abandon me.
"Thank you for coming to see me Sam, but you better leave"
"And that boy likes you, you should marry him, he'll keep you happy and I wish you both a happy marriage"
"Emma, you'll regret not accepting my offer" Sam said before she left.
Emma was content with the life she was leading, the riches and wealth meant nothing to her.
But how will she react if she found out that the man she married was a billionaire and was lying to her from the start. He is also the same man who's a brother to David Hunt, and the man her sister was obsessing about.
Could life possibly play more tricks on her? Like her falling for Draken already.
Emma went back inside the café to tend to her customers, little did she know, Draken was around her, and he'd listened to their conversation.
He'd woken up the moment he heard Emma leave, he didn't hesitate to go to the café disguising himself.
What he heard made him happy, Emma rejected David, but also sad.....would she leave him if she found out he was also wealthy??...That question still remains unanswered.
