More and more customers came to the café than the usual, what was the secret behind it?
Erick at Ouracle kept on paying the employees to go to the café where Emma worked and buy their coffee, on Draken's orders.
He watched how hard his wife worked at the café, she loved her job.
She was honest and hardworking unlike Samantha who was the opposite.
Time came for the café to close down, and Emma was always the one who locked up.
She stood by the road side and waited for Draken to pick her up.
She'd messaged him to come. That was a surprise.
"You must really have a motive making your sick husband move around like this Emma" he said softly with slow footsteps towards her.
"I'm sorry,,,but I wanted to do something with you today" she replied with an apologetic adorable look.
" No, don't apologize, if you allow me, I'll pick you up everyday after work" he said,, leaning in closer.
He loved doing it especially since he was taller than her. Teasing her for being short.
"Fine,, only when I allow you,, now come on...I'll take you somewhere special" Emma replied, holding his hand and pulling him towards the opposite direction.
Where is she taking me? Wherever it is as long as it's with her
Draken was more than happy to be dragged around by Emma.
"Here we are" She'd brought him to a grocery store.
"What are we doing here?" He asked.
"Grocery shopping!! We don't have anything in the fridge, and don't worry I'll pay...the café surprisingly did well today"

"Just takw the cart and follow me" she ordered him as soon as they entered.
"Yes ma'am" Draken gladly obeyed.
"Vegetables.. check. Beef .check. Drinking water..check. Fruits..check" she kept on ticking the things off her list.
Draken noticed that she hadn't put any junk food in the cart, and the Emma he knew loved junk food.
Ignoring her, he went over to the junk food rows and picked out almost every kind.
"Ken ..what are you doing ?" She asked.
" Picking these out for you, I know you want them"
Was she that obvious
" But you told me to eat more healthy foods and stop with the unhealthy food" she replied softly.
"And I don't have cash to pay for that"
"Don't worry, you'll have it once or twice a week, and I'll buy them from you!" Draken replied.
Will he do that for me?
Emma saw him in a whole different light now,
He filled the cart and held her hand.
"Let's go"
They headed towards the counter to settle the bill.
The bill was more than she'd budgeted.
"Emma, would you help me get new bandages from the last row?"
Draken looked for an excuse to get her to leave for a moment.
" Take the money out of my card" he told the cashier. It was a black card.
The cashier was shocked, how could such an ordinary man own a black card that would be carried around by billionaires.
"Now, this is another card for you. You will not tell my wife what just happened and whenever she'll come here, she'll get whatever she wants for free, got that?" He threatened the man.
He shook his head in approval, scared to even talk.
"I brought them Ken" Emma returned.
"And today is our lucky day wife," Draken said.
"What??"
"Yes ma'am, you were the 999th couple to come to our store, so everything will be on the house" the cashier said, choosing his words carefully.
"Are you sure ..this is quite a lot..." Emma tried to say but he cut her off.
"Mrs Ken, he said it's okay, we shouldn't waste more time,...please pack these up for us" he implied to the cashier.
"Right away sir"
Emma found the man's behavior strange.
After packing there groceries, Emma left Draken to carry all the bags.
"And tonight, you'll be making dinner" she said before walking out of the store.
"Yes ma'am"
The cashier wondered, this man was scary but he listened to every word his wife said.
He was so obedient to her

"Mom, I don't want to marry David, I don't love him!" Sam complained to her mom.
"And who do you love, Draken!" Her mom snapped at her.
"Don't be stupid Sam, Draken is no longer in the picture, David is the one left, whether you like it or not, you'll marry him" her mom replied.
"But mom, even Emma can do it, why does it have to be me?" Sam asked.
"Because Emma is not my daughter, I don't care what happens to her, but you have to marry David" she replied.
" How I wish I had been in Emma's place, she's miserable but atleast she's happy, unlike me stuck here but still unhappy" Sam complained before her mom suddenly slapped her.
"Everything I did was for you, to make you happy, but you stupid girl still don't appreciate. I ruined Emma's life for you but you're still not happy!" Her mom yelled at her.
" Mom , I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but I'll never be happy with David!" Samantha cried holding the part of her face where her mother had slapped her.
" ....." Her mother was speechless,
Samantha ran upstairs to her room crying helplessly.
Was it really worth it. She ruined the life of someone else's daughter to make happiness for hers but hers seemed more miserable.
It seemed, the curse Emma's mother had left her with before her death was taking action.
But she couldn't turn back now after going this far, she had to continue what she was doing.
" I'm sorry to Sam, but I have to do this" she whispered to herself.
