Not everyone wants to share their pain with someone but they can make an exception with the person they feel comfortable with.

"Dinner is served" Draken currently setting up the dinner table said.
Emma was surprised that he listened to her when she jokingly asked him to make dinner.
Did he take her so seriously?
"Why? Why did you do this for me?" She asked.
"Because ..I want to" Draken simply replied.
"Then.... I'll return the favour" Emma said, approaching him with slow footsteps until she reached closer to his face.
Draken got all excited thinking she was going to get intimate with him, maybe even kiss him but unfortunately....
"Tomorrow night, I'll take you somewhere, make sure you be ready by 7" she whispered in his ear before taking her seat and the table.
"Ok... let's eat" she made him sit as well beside her and served him first before herself, she always put him first before herself.
This was the first time anyone made her dinner after her mom's death. Remembering the last time she was alive and together with her made her eyes fill up with tears.
"Emma don't" Draken was ready to wipe away her tears.
"I can't help but remember my past and its painful" she replied.
"Then share your pain with me Emma. I'll help lessen the burden" Draken replied.... holding her hand.
"Are you sure you want to listen?" Emma asked least bothered by his hand.
She now felt more comfortable with him, she could share her pain with him
"I'll listen" Draken's voice was as calm as their surrounding, he really meant his words.
"I lost my mom when I was 7 and then my dad remarried his mistress and she brought in their daughter who was just a year younger than me. His wife sent me to the suburbs and didn't even let me mourn my mother's death properly" Emma begun her sad life story.
"I stayed in the suburbs until I was 10, caring for myself since my uncle I was sent to live with was just a drunkard. When I turned 16, my dad kicked me out of the house on request of his wife and since then, I've been living alone and work tirelessly to put myself through school and complete my mom's last wish to see me graduate..... I've been leading such a miserable life despite being born as a rich princess.. funny right" Emma's words were truly heart breaking, even for Draken.
"Whenever I hope that things will go right, they end up getting worse....but that's not the case with you Ken...you're different. Your presence in my life has changed it for the better...thank you" Emma finally ended her story.... she smiled at Draken..she was happy that he was around.
Draken couldn't help but feel even more guilty. He begun this relationship based on pure lies and yet she was growing closer to him every single minute that passed by.
What if he told her the truth right there, would she still think the same way about him, or would she leave him.
"Emma....what would you do if you ever found out that I lied to you?" He suddenly asked the question.... tightening his hold on her hand, anxiously waiting for her answer.
"Ken, I know you'd never lie to me...if you did, you must have had your reasons...I'd definitely listen and wouldn't judge you" Emma replied.
Was she being serious? Or did she think it would just be a small lie. His lies were big...she probably wouldn't handle it.
"Do you have something you want to say to me Ken?" She asked after taking a closer at him, he was so lost in thought.
"I don't. I was thinking, you've been through so much alone but now you have me....Emma don't worry too much....I'll help you with anything" Draken replied looking at her with so much love.
Emma felt herself blush, butterflies on her stomach...what was wrong with her, did she start liking him?
" Uh..mm let's eat, the food's getting cold" she changed the topic, or else she might do something she'd regret later.
The two ate their dinner before they headed to their room to rest.
A room with no couch deliberately.
"I guess... we'll have to share the bed" Draken pointed out.
He did it on purpose.
"What!!"Emma exclaimed but he didn't pay any attention to her.
Share the bed?
"What...are you scared?" Draken asked as soon as he lay horizontally on the bed, staring at her with a smirk on his face.
This man
"N...no I'm not...I'll just change my clothes..
Excuse me" she immediately ran to the bathroom, shutting the door.
"Silly girl, what does she think will happen?" Draken asked himself.
His phone rang ..Erick was calling. He reminded him of his brother's wedding that would take place in just two days.
"Will you go?" He asked, curious about what his boss will do next.
"I'll think about it" he replied before hanging up.
Now more than ever, he didn't want to leave Emma alone like he did before. She might get into some kind of trouble again.
Thinking about it, her sister would also be getting married, would she go after everything?

"Shaun tell me what you think?" Erick asked Shaun after Draken hung up on him.
"Do you think boss has fallen madly in love with his wife?" He jokingly asked.
"Whatever happens between them doesn't concern us," Shaun coldly replied.
They were busy handling some files Draken had told them to check out.
"It does concern us ... he's our boss and she's now the boss lady.... we'll soon have to take orders from her as well" Erick said.
"As long as the boss cares for her and she's his wife,,, I'll gladly lay down my life for her as well" Shaun replied.
His loyalty to Draken was unquestionable. They go way back and he's saved his life more than once, helped him more than he deserved, taking care of his wife was the least he could do to repay the favour....
