Hiruko awoke, his head pounding; outside the village was consumed by the darkness of nighttime.

Holding his head, Hiruko groaned.

"Ughhh, note to self: don't install three devil fruits at once; the pain is nearly unbearable," Hiruko said. Though the pain wasn't as bad as before he had passed out, it still hurt. His other hand brushing his nose felt the dried blood that plastered his face. Pushing himself up, Hiruko slowly walked to the bathroom and took a much-needed cold shower.

After getting out of the shower, Hiruko sat on his bed with a white towel wrapped around his body.

"It seems like the pains subsided." Hiruko said he never wanted to go through that again; the pain felt as if millions of needles were being stabbed through his head and body again and again and again. And unlike the first time, the pain wasn't quick; it felt like it would go on for an eternity.

Hiruko, sighing, decided to turn his thoughts to his gains, searching through his memories for new information on his abilities.

Landing on the ability at the forefront of his mind, Hiruko went over it. "Shigan," or finger gun, is one of the Marine's six techniques. It's a close-quarters technique that allows the user to use their finger to pierce the target's flesh at a very high speed. The resulting wound is roughly the size of a bullet wound; however, it loses its effectiveness when used against those with stronger bodies, like the third Raikage," Hirko said, frowning, trying to think of a way to mitigate this.

"Maybe when I get Armament Haki or a Zoan, maybe? "But who knows when I'd pull one of those?" Hiruko said, Morley just throwing out possible solutions.

"Whatever, let's just move on." Hiruko said if anything, he was looking forward to the devil fruits the most.

Looking through his head for information on one of his devil fruits, he came to the Kilo-Kilo Fruit. "Hmm, the Kilo-Kilo fruit is a fruit that allows me to change my weight from 1 kg to 10,000 kg without changing my body size and allowing me to move like normal. However, it does have the slight weakness of not changing my density or physical resistance to outside forces." Hiruko said, reiterating the information in his head.

Then he offered his own personal analysis on the fruit. "To be honest, it pairs well with a lot of my abilities and is extremely useful. For example, using it in conjunction with the Finger Gun, I mean, it's basic science from my old world; theoretically, if I increase my weight, the impact of it will be increased. With my weight lower, however, the speed may increase, and control is more; it loses that offensive force. There will always be a trade-off, and not only that, but this only works at close range since the Kilo-Kilo fruit only works on my body, meaning long range is a no-go." Hiruko said, pondering the pros and cons of this technique.

"This also goes with the Paper-art the Kilo-Kilo fruit; when reducing my body weight, it increases my agility in a sense because of the lack of inertia. This in turn would increase flexibility, making it way easier to move around attacks, and the lack of extra weight would most likely make it easier to dodge, though I have to try this out." Hiruko said,

Before sitting up on his bed and flexing his arms to absolutely no one, "Now it's time to try this out," Hiruko said as he slowly dropped his weight to 1 kg. After a second or so, Hiruko started to slowly move about the room.

"Damn, I knew my movement wasn't going to be affected, but this is weird. I don't know how to put it in words; the only thing I can call it is somewhat freeing, like my body is nothing but also something." Hiruko said, trying his best to describe this feeling, but after a couple moments and nothing coming to him, he changed gears, trying to increase his weight as much as possible: '5 kg, 10 kg, 20 kg, 30 kg, 60 kg, 80 kg, 90 kg, 100 kg…500 kg.'

"So that's my limit," Hiruko said, somewhat upset and confused. He wanted to ask the system something, but he would save it for another time.

He then opened and clenched his fist, feeling the power coursing through him.

"Hmm, my movement still isn't impacted, which is good, but I need to get used to the rapid change in weight. All it takes is a second of uncomfortability or whatever, and I'm dead. The change time for both adding and taking away weight takes about a second and a half, which isn't bad just starting out, but I should still shorten it." Hiruko said, returning his weight to normal before moving on to his next fruit.

"The… Heal-Heal fruit!!" Hiruko said excitedly he had been wanting something like this because though Tsunade would be going on missions with him, she was not the future self known as 'Konoha's medical sage,' and not only that, but anything can happen on missions, and Tsunade wouldn't always be there. But with this, it lightened the probability of death, which was a very high probability for most shinobi.

Hiruko then began to go through the knowledge of the Heal-Heal fruit in his head.

"The Heal-Heal fruit allows me to heal others with…bodily liquids." Hiruko pauses at this, his thoughts going to certain impure places before he continues.

"The primarily used fluid being tears, it can heal any bodily injury, including diseases, though that costs more energy. It can also cast a group heal, though those effects are temporary and last only three minutes, and after those three minutes, those people cannot be healed again. Lastly, it can heal objects at the cost of the user's lifespan. Well, that last part's kind of useless; I have no plan on auctioning off my life." Hiruko said resolutely,

"The major downsides, however, are that it cannot be turned off and that things like limbs cannot be recreated or regrown. "Not bad, not bad at all; the downsides are pretty negligible," Hiruko said before pondering something.

"And I think I'll keep this fruit a secret and use it only in cases of emergencies. Lots of people would do anything to get their hands on these abilities, and I have no plans on being like Mansherry," Hiruko said, his eyes drifting to his kitchen knives and then down at his hand.

"I should probably try this fruit out, huh? for research purposes, of course.' He then began to walk over to the kitchen and grabbed a knife, raising it up in the air. After taking a deep breath, he brought it down.

The knife pierced through his skin out to the other side; blood dripped down it, making a puddle on the floor.

"I just realized, how am I supposed to cry?" Hiruko suddenly thought, "Sure, there was pain, but he had been through way worse; he wouldn't cry from this."

Looking back at the knife, Hiruko suddenly had an idea, pulling out the bloody knife. Hiruko brought it up to his other hand and pricked his finger.

He then brought that finger over to his bloody hand and let the blood from it drop onto his wound.

Suddenly a warm sensation filled Hiruko's body with a yellow pulse shooting outward as the wound on his hand and finger closed over almost as if it was never there. But with this sensation came a slight fatigue.

"Hmm, aside from fatigue, I don't feel any other limit like with the other fruits. Is it because the wound wasn't that bad?" Hiruko pondered for a moment before deciding to let it go; he had no plans on hurting himself fatally to try it out.

Shaking off the lingering intrusive thoughts, Hiruko focused on his third fruit. "The… Garb-Garb fruit?" Hiruko said, slightly disappointed, he was kind of expecting something like the Tremor-Tremor fruit or Op-Op fruit, not one for making clothes.

But soon he shook those thoughts out of his head; at least he didn't get a dumb fruit like the mucus one. He would be really disappointed if that's the one he got. "Plus all future world dominators need to look fly," Hiruko said, flexing his muscles once again in an attempt to look cool.

"The Garb-Garb fruit is pretty simple; it allows the user to take small items like leaves or pebbles and turn them into clothing after placing them into one's head. However, they need to clearly picture the outfit, and once that outfit is taken off, the clothes revert back and disappear. These clothes are practical and useful for blending in." Hiruko said, walking over to a small plant on his windowsilland plucking a leaf. After placing it on his head, he imagined Ichigo's standard Shinigami shihakushō he wears, and with a puff, Hiruko now looked like a Shinigami Soul Reaper .

Hiruko immediately ran to the bathroom to look in the mirror; once he saw himself, he fought the urge to yell BANKAI.

'I have to get a custom sword made in the form of a Zanpakuto and then fight someone, and when using my ultimate attack, yell, 'BANKAI.' Hiruko said with an unsettling laugh, completely forgetting his previous displeasure with this fruit.

While he was checking himself out in the mirror, he heard a knock at the door.

'Who's here this late?' Hiruko thought as he walked to the door, but not before changing his outfit with a puff to his oversized, high-collared coat wrapped with three leather straps from the anime.

Opening the door stood three adults and one child that filled his vision; at the front was a youthful red-haired woman. Hiruko instantly recognized her.

"Lady Mito, why are you here so early?" Hiruko asked.

At this Mito pouted.

"Hiruko, it's already 9:00. Don't tell me you forgot about our outing?"
