Chapter 7 - Two Mysterious Masters

At the same time in the vast forest Han Ren had just finished testing his new skill. He had completely forgotten about kron. Suddenly, an unknown voice echoed through the very soul. It was as if the voice was his own.

"Kid, don't you want to rescue your mount?''

His fingers tails trembled slightly at the mention of kron. It was obvious that he could feel the tension between Kron and himself.

The voice was formidable yet it showed great longing. It was not the first time he listened to the inner voice. It was rather a familiar voice.

Breaking his thoughts, the voice spoke. "Kid, come straight to the southern pole from there."

The words from the voice was sharp and direct.

Crack!

Suddenly, his body began to move on its own. Han Ren just had his senses but his very soul was stolen.

"This technique- its definitely.."

At the same time, in a malevolent cave. Kron was tied with a dark chain that itself represented water. Not only his body but his entire soul was trapped.

The figures were just sitting calmly waiting for Han Ren.

After certain minute, a lone lean figure binded by a cold isolated chains showed up.

The old man eyes narrowed, his lip slightly curved upward.

It seems destiny wants us to meet again. He chuckled.

The face from that time reminded him vividly. It was the same boy who had long been overthrown by fate itself.

"HA- I knew it", Han Ren muttered. His eyes calm.

The voice felt somewhat familiar and Han Ren had already predicted who it was after listening to the voice. But he didn't show any kind emotion. His moment normal.

He could now freely move, without any hint of curiosity he walked towards kron, and slightly pressed.

Crack

A sudden surged of dark Qi pressed the earth. Kron body began to materialized as Han Ren pressed his Qi towards it, a ferric energy overlapped Kron body vividly turning into a thin dark particle and slowly merging with Han Ren.

Han Ren didn't show any kind of emotion as he raised his hand, forming an unusual hand sign representing gestures of praying usually done by a monk.

The energy vanished instantly fully merging with Han Ren.

The scene was shocking yet beautiful, no words, and everything was silent.

"Ha.. old men after what happened you crossed path with me again", he sneered. His eyes dark, a cold radiating spiritual energy directed towards the two figures.

Suddenly, a bright laugh was prostrated. "Hahahaha, you are truly amusing kid". He continued, his voice calm, "I didn't know it was your soul beast, it was truly sinister, so I had no choice but to use force".

The figures were moving slowly towards Han Ren. Each energy was far more greater than his.

So they are both far ahead up there.

Han had taken a guess, but it was far more dangerous than he thought. A person cannot directly enter other soul unless he is one of great daoist or he can cast his owl soul in others to track the owner. But in the case of old man he was no great daoist nor a living person. And the voice from that time talked about soul bound meaning, the man was actually a spirit and not a living person.

But he also had no idea Kron was actually his soul beast that are hardly available for normal cultivators, and at the Soul Ascension realm. It was gamble he took on purpose, even if it wasn't true then there would be no way one can freely manipulate others soul just from one single meeting alone.

Han Ren was truly a cautious man, the very moment when he directly moved towards kron without asking what happened and why they were attacking them and just casually letting kron in his body was no more than a act to make them feel that he is just a soft loving boy to his soul beast, but reality was different. Han Ren was already planning several times ahead and he had just gotten the pieces to clear this mission.

The face of the two figures were now clear. It was exactly as what Han Ren said, one was just a lonely spirit, his face full of wrinkles, his eyes dark and unbothered, long flashy white hair glazed through the wind. The other was just an young boy. From the looks, he looked like the same age as Han Ren.

His eyes were bright like the starts shining through the middle of the dazzling nights. His hair was a bit messy, his build was rather small. But of course as the saying goes don't judge a book by its cover.

What might have he gone through to have that kind of eye, Han Ren inner voice was conflicting with one another.

His eyes looked bright only on outside but Han Ren could instantly gasp the real one from the fake as he was just the same.

Breaking his thought the young one spoke, "I am delightful to meet you today". He voice was calm yet ferric. He was not just showing curiosity but he was testing Han Ren if he is capable or not. Depending on his answer he would make the choice.

Han Ren didn't hesitate, his voice calm and considerate. "Don't joke, you flatter me, I am more delightful to meet the owner of Heavenly Six Path cultivation manual and your soul spirit is not an ordinary man himself".

The old man laugh burst, "What do you think disciple, is he useful".

The young man chuckled, "I am Shen Tianhe".

Han Ren replied, "I am Ren".

The reply was just simple, as he didn't wanted to reveal his affiliation to Han sect yet.

But Han Ren didn't expected the young master from the Shen family one of the strongest in the entire Eastern plains would be attracted to this cave.

Shen Tianhe was also sharp and modest. He also didn't reveal his position nor his power in the family, just his name was enough. In Han Ren case he was just a cautious and a cunning man but that was not the case for Tianhe, he was strong, had a backing and that soul spirit whose level is unknown. Yet, he didn't accepted those backing. In the eyes of Han Ren, Tianhe seemed more like the protagonist.

Han Ren himself just have to be powerful without any backing and opportunities because a man doesn't needed it to come to them rather they would make one. The path to that opportunities would be immense and fascinating.

There was no truth to anything, the stronger made the truth, if it was correct no one knows.
