Wang Lihong walked down the hallway, heading towards his study. With each step he took forward, it became louder, clearer and heavier.
He reached the door, tilted his head back and pressed the password. The door swung open and he stepped in. He's eyes got fixed ahead, narrowing down.
"Dad, you're back." Wang Renshu said, turning with the wheelchair towards him.
"Renshu, why are you here?" Wang Lihong asked, walking closer to him.
"I couldn't find you, so I came here. I've only been here for a few minutes. I hope Dad doesn't mind."
"How was your flight?" Wang Lihong asked, taking his blazer off and hung it up at the rack.
"It was okay. Dad!" Wang Renshu called out as Wang Lihong went to his desk.
"What's wrong? Why are you yelling?" Wang Lihong asked, stopping.
"Uh…" Wang Renshu smiled. "I wanted to ask you if you mind taking me to the garden. It's been so long…"
Zimo pressed his lips tightly together, folded behind the desk. He closed his eyes into a silent prayer.
