Gu Yuxuan sat by his desk but his chair was turned away, looking to the wall behind. He was lost in thought, his eyes glued to nothing.
A knock on the door broke the silence within the office and Meng Xian walked in. He went to stand behind the desk, facing Gu Yuxuan's back.
"For now, we've only tracked down two of his businesses." Meng Xian said. "We still don't know where he's hiding the others."
Gu Yuxuan turned around. "Ask Lingling to arrange a meeting with Detective Huang."
"Mr Gu, are you sure you want to take this route?" Meng Xian asked nervously.
"The sooner we expose him, the cleaner our hands. Tell Ehuang to be ready tonight. We'll collect the last evidence and let the Detective take care of the rest."
"What about Zimo?"
Just then, Zimo walked in. "What about me?" he asked.
"Sort it out", Gu Yuxuan said.
Meng Xian nodded and walked past Zimo, ignoring him by keeping his gaze straight forward even though Zimo was looking at him.
