Aurora's pov
"Who?"
They both looked at me expectantly
"The DPO of the Lagos police, Leeki precept"
"Huh?"
"There's a DPO i know, he's not like other officers. He's not corrupt and he's someone i can trust"
"So? He's just the DPO, how can he know of the happenings in the government house?" Anna frowned
"Oh Anna, how naive you're. Don't you know everything that happens in the government house is connected, it's like a web. The police, military, ministers and so on... everyone is connected. Not to mention, this DPO is very close to the commissioner who's a close friend of my father" i explained
"You watch a lot of crime documentaries" she joked "okay miss detective, how sure are you he will be on our side?"
"He said it himself when I went to pay him a visit. Look he's ready to help us, we just have to trust him"
"Huh fine, i just pray nothing happens to me" Anna was such a scaredy cat
"You worry too much, just relax"
"Define relax" she glared at me
"Everything will be okay" i assured her once again
She just nodded nervously while Michael kept quiet as usual. With nothing left to discuss, they both stood up to leave. I hugged Anna and assured her everything will be fine, again. She relaxed a little and left with Michael. I sat still on my chair thinking whether if I'd be wrong
"This is a suicide mission" i muttered
"Are you okay?"
I jumped at the sound of Aron's voice
"Woah" i clutched my chest "dude there's a door for knocking"
"I knocked but you didn't answer, i don't think you heard me. Are you okay?" He asked
"Yeah I'm fine" i smiled
"Okay, um i just wanted to remind you of my medical checkup"
"Oh yeah I forgot. Um lemme get ready so we can leave"
He nodded and walked out of the room after taking a good look at me.
Author's pov
Meanwhile at the new government house, governor martins and Amir can be seen driving into the compound. A group of new guards are stationed in every corner of the building, some hidden government agents are in a computer room monitoring every activity going on to prevent the purple Lagoon from lurking into the building again.
Amir climbs down from the car to help the governor with his wheelchair. He wheels him towards the front stair where the governor's new PA is waiting for them.
"Good morning sir" the new PA greeted stretching out her hand "I'm Ola your new personal assistant"
The governor scans the new lady with his lustful eyes, the new PA doesn't look bad in fact to him, he was dropdead gorgeous 😍. He studies her beautiful fair face with those sparkling green eyes, pink 🩷 plumpy lips, huge breasts, snatched waist and huge perky buttock. The governor couldn't help but smile at her, all his worries suddenly vanished and he stretched out his hand to greet her back
"Welcome Ola" he held her hand for a while before letting go "i hope Amir has briefed you on your job?"
"Yes sir, he has" she smiled showing off her pearl white teeth
"Good. Please help me to my office" the governor said admiring her
Ola nodded and took the wheelchair from Amir.
"I'll be waiting to take you home sir" Amir said to his boss
"No problem Amir, I'll call you when I need you" the governor said
"Okay sir" he said about to leave
"Oh before I forget Amir, please make sure you monitor any visitors coming into the building. I don't want any chaos today, understood?" The governor warned
"No worries sir"
"Good"
With that Amir left for his post while Ola wheeled the governor into the building.
OLA'S POV
As we reached the elevator, i pushed the button and wheeled the governor in. I still can't believe our plan actually worked. This stupid man has no idea who's behind him, he thinks I'm just another one of those naive pretty faced PA he can take advantage of. He has no idea what's coming for him. I just smiled, mon'itei won't be disappointed.
"We're here sir" i said in my most cherry voice as we finally reached his new office
"Thanks dear" the fool smiled "please help me into my chair, i can't walk for now"
"Okay sir" i nodded and gently helped him into his chair "is that better?"
"Yes dear" he relaxed into the chair and smiled again
"Um i have a list of the meetings, press conferences and other events you'll be attending to for today" i said scanning through my ipad
"What's the first thing on the list? A date with you?" He winked
I ignored him
"You have a meeting with the vice governor" i said
I didn't want the governor to suspect anything so according to mon'itei, i had to act professional while trying to gain his trust. I wasn't just going to be his sex toy, the plan was for me to make him fall in love with me and become closer to him.
"Alright that's good. You'll be escorting me?" He said tapping his table
I nodded
"Good. I need an angel like you around me, especially during this period"
I just smiled
"Shall I call in the vice governor now, sir?" I asked
"Yes please, let's get this over with"
I nodded and walked out of the room, fully aware that he was lustfully staring at my back.
