Morning sunlight filtered softly through the leaves, sprinkling warm patches of gold over two figures sparring in a clearing. Mixed into the rustling of trees was Goku's bright, carefree laughter.
Broly had decided to stay with Goku for a while. Part of it was just wanting some peace of mind. The other part… well, Goku's power level was still pretty low, so Broly figured he might as well coach the kid a bit. Helping Goku train was also a good excuse to sort out and settle everything Broly himself had learned over the last three years.
"Broly, you ready? I'm coming at you!" Goku bounced in place, eyes shining.
Watching Goku practically vibrate with excitement, Broly chuckled inwardly. Yeah… that's a Saiyan for you. Born to love fighting. Not that he was much better. With a body made for the Legendary Super Saiyan, even if his soul came from another world, that innate love of battle was impossible to fully ignore.
"Go for it, Goku. Don't hold back. You can't hurt me."
"Hi-yah!"
Goku's right fist shot forward—only for Broly to casually raise his hand, deflect it with the back of his palm, slide sideways, twist his torso, and chop him cleanly on the back.Goku immediately face-planted into the dirt.
"Broly, you're super strong! Can you train me? Grandpa's gone… nobody's been teaching me anymore."
"Relax. I'll be around for a long while. If you've got questions about training, just ask anytime."
That night, Broly lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling while Goku slept beside him, snoring with a bubble puffing from his nose.Through the window, starlight spilled into the room as Broly wondered what path he should take from here.
Just as he sank into thought, the husky system voice rang out:
"Host, the effects of the Gene Improvement Serum have been fully absorbed. From now on, when you look at the full moon and get hit by Bruitz Waves, your blood will feel like it's boiling. Your heart will beat harder. In that state, even without transforming into a Great Ape, your power level can increase by a factor of two. For example, your current power level of 200 would become 200 + (2×200) = 600."
Broly brightened immediately, about to praise the system—when it continued with even better news.
"Due to the host's near-perfect genetic structure, the serum produced only two changes. First was the enhancement just mentioned. Second: when the dormant rage belonging to the Legendary Super Saiyan awakens again, it will not erode your sanity. Your mind will remain completely unaffected."
Broly grinned wide. Those 500 points were absolutely worth it.After giving the system a very satisfied compliment, he rolled over and quickly drifted off to sleep.

Time flew by. Summer slipped into winter; winter flipped back into summer. A full year had passed since Broly started staying at Goku's home.
In that time, Goku had challenged Broly to fight nearly every day. And every day ended the same way: Goku beaten into a blue-and-purple mess… yet he always came back grinning for more.
Broly taught Goku the core principles of the Turtle School style, wondering if this might push Goku onto the path of chasing strong opponents even earlier than in the original story. But of course, Broly didn't teach any of Master Roshi's signature techniques—those were for Roshi himself to pass on.
Thanks to being dragged into daily brawls, Broly ended up reviewing everything he'd learned from Roshi anyway. His power level had climbed to 278.Goku's had reached 66—far stronger than his original debut.
After beating Goku down for the hundredth time, the kid stomped off into the woods again to hunt for lunch. It was part of their bet: loser cooks.
Suddenly, Broly heard Goku cry out in pain—and a girl's sharp scream. His expression changed instantly, and he shot toward the sound.
"I—I hit someone! I didn't mean to!" a terrified girl was shouting. But she froze mid-sentence the moment she saw the boy she'd hit get up unharmed.
"You monster! Trying to steal my prey? I won't let you!"With that, Goku grabbed the car—and the girl driving it—and hurled the whole thing.
"AHHHHH!!"
The girl had been flung out of the car mid-air and was now falling toward the ground.
Bulma's heart almost stopped. Just this morning, she had found a strange-looking orb in her family's warehouse, looked it up, and realized it was a Dragon Ball. She'd snuck out on her first real adventure to collect all seven and wish for a handsome boyfriend.
And now she was about to die before finding even one more.
But at the moment she shut her eyes in despair, she felt herself fall into a warm, steady embrace instead.
She peeked open her bright sapphire-blue eyes… and found herself held princess-style by an incredibly handsome boy.Long black hair cascading over his shoulders, sharp features like carved jade, star-cold eyes, and a gentle smile resting naturally at his lips.
Bulma's "Prince Charming" fantasy ignited on the spot. She stared at Broly so long she forgot how to breathe.
"Oh my god, how embarrassing! I'm acting like a total fangirl! But he's just so handsome…"Her fair cheeks flushed pink all the way down her neck.
"Goku, you can't treat a girl like that," Broly said, a bit reproachfully.
Only then did he look down properly at the girl in his arms.Long blue hair smooth as silk, a delicate face caught somewhere between fear and shy embarrassment, a small nose, elegant brows, and—most striking of all—eyes filled with emotion, bright enough to pull a man in at first glance.Right now, framed by her blush, they were shy, annoyed, and stunning.
For a moment, Broly was just… stuck staring.
Her hands soft as petals, skin pale and smooth, her smile charming and eyes full of life—ancient poets would've run out of words trying to describe her.
"T-thank you… for saving me," she whispered, so quietly only someone with Broly's strength could've heard it.
"....."
