James Sirius Potter, Rose, and Scorpius arrived at the Pensieve in the Headmaster's office. They began watching the memories of Harry Potter — how he lost his parents, the moments he met Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and the beautiful friendship that blossomed with them, filled with laughter, joy, and shared emotions. They saw Harry crying for Sirius Black, consoled by Dumbledore, and witnessed him falling in love with Ginny. The trio watched as Voldemort killed Harry's friend Cedric, and how Harry and his friends fought relentlessly to destroy the Horcruxes. They remembered Harry losing Dobby, Remus Lupin, Dumbledore, Severus Snape, and Fred, who sacrificed themselves to save him. Finally, they saw Harry defeating Voldemort and saving Hogwarts, marrying Ginny, while Ron and Hermione married as well. James, Rose, and Scorpius saw how Harry and Ginny became godparents to Rose and Hugo Granger-Weasley, and Ron and Hermione became godparents to James, Albus, and Lily.
But they also witnessed the darker side — how Harry lost to Voldemort's dark army, how Voldemort manipulated Harry's pain, and how he vowed to destroy everything that belonged to Harry and Hogwarts. James cried, and Rose hugged him, trying to console him. James scolded himself, saying, "I couldn't save my father and my godparents who believed in me more than their lives. I couldn't even save my younger brother Albus, who always saw me as a mentor and inspiration. I am not a great son or brother. I should've listened to Albus. I did a great mistake."
Rose gently replied, "You didn't make a mistake, James."
James asked, "Can't you see?"
"You can't change what has happened," Rose said. "Even Hagrid and your godmother Hermione told you — you are intelligent, brave, and smart. You can achieve anything, but in confusion or despair, you can't do anything. Even Miss Amelia saw a future in you and called you the protector of Hogwarts. Not me or anyone else."
Scorpius added, "Killing Voldemort once and for all and saving Hogwarts is your destiny. Think like your father, Harry Potter. I always knew you were one of the strongest and most sensible people I know."
James felt assured, but when Scorpius offered to fight alongside him, James shook his head. "Sorry, Scorpius. I'm not taking you or Rose. I'm going alone."
Rose and Scorpius gasped. "WHAT?" Rose exclaimed. "Are you mad?"
James said, "Call me what you want. Losing my best friends is something I can't bear, and I've already faced trauma because I couldn't save my family, the Headmaster, and Professor Trelawney. You both should stay here to protect Hogwarts, not me."
Scorpius looked hurt. "Then you're leaving me, James…?"
James stopped, turning around. Scorpius spoke softly, "I've always thought of you as my best friend, like a brother. Even though our fathers were enemies, I've always adored Harry Potter. Since I was born, my father told me all the stories about him. I admired how he faced challenges with his friends, defeated Voldemort, and saved Hogwarts. And I see that same greatness in you, James. Even after knowing everything, you supported me when I had no one. You're my brother. You're needed for this mission."
Scorpius hugged James. Rose stepped forward, stopping just in front of him.
James asked, "Will you give me a hug too?"
Rose said firmly, "No. Who would hug this arrogant young man? Uncle Harry won because of unity with his friends and unconditional bonds. That should happen again. I'm coming with you, whether you like it or not."
Scorpius smiled, and James smiled faintly, but Rose's smile faded as she said, "I'm not coming for you. I'm coming for Albus because I promised him I would save him."
James replied, "It's 100% sure Rose will never change for me."
Meanwhile, at the Dark Palace, thunder roared as Bellatrix threw Albus into a room, casting a spell to keep him trapped. Voldemort grinned, pleased at how close he was to defeating Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Peter Pettigrew sneered, "The stupid Harry Potter is slowly going to die within days. No one can save him."
Voldemort's eyes narrowed, and he used magic to torture Pettigrew, holding his neck tightly. "Harry Potter should come again, and I will make him suffer for destroying me and my army," Voldemort hissed.
Bellatrix agreed, "Yes. Harry Potter can't defeat you. If he wants to, he must first save himself and answer all the questions — how I returned, gained power, and built my army. It's impossible." She laughed wickedly.
Voldemort slapped her. "I will defeat Harry Potter again and again, and I will kill him once I've taken everything I want."
Dagger entered, reporting, "My Lord, the people you sent to kill Hogwarts have been defeated. Amelia Dumbledore, the cousin of Dumbledore, has arrived to protect everyone."
Voldemort's face twisted in fear. "What? Amelia… Is she back?"
He commanded, "Until I tell you, no one should attack Hogwarts!" Bellatrix questioned, but Voldemort shouted at her. Dagger asked about Albus. Voldemort revealed, "I need a body. My body has been destroyed three times. I can't survive without one. I will kill Albus and possess his body."
Bellatrix watched eagerly as Dagger prepared to take Albus away. Voldemort ordered him to guard and punish Albus, warning, "If he escapes, I'll kill you, Dagger."
Dagger obeyed silently. Bellatrix threw a plate filled with bones and non-veg scraps, but Dagger remained emotionless as he entered Albus' room. "Eat," he commanded, but Albus refused. Seeing the plate of bones, he understood Bellatrix's violent nature. Albus tried to run, but Dagger stopped him and placed him on the sofa.
"You can't escape," Dagger said flatly, though he felt a twinge of emotion seeing Albus cry. Albus shouted at him, "My Brother James and my friends Rose and Scorpius will come to save me" "My Brother James is going to kill you for injuring my dad and trying to hold me ""If you had a heart or friends, you would understand my pain. You stabbed my father! You don't deserve to be a man!"
Dagger's thoughts flashed to the past, and he shouted, "SHUT UP!" Albus trembled. Bellatrix praised Dagger, "You are a great soldier, Dagger," and smiled wickedly. She moved to hurt Albus, but Dagger stopped her. "Torturing him is my responsibility, not yours, Bellatrix. Go do your job properly."
Bellatrix left with a sly "Bye-bye, Albus baby." Dagger lifted Albus onto his shoulder, and though Albus screamed and struggled, Dagger vanished into the sky, taking him home.
Instead of punishing him, Dagger gave Albus fruit salad and a proper meal. Albus was shocked. "Do you want to kill me with poison?" he asked. Dagger calmly ate alongside him. "If you want, eat. I won't force you. If you try to run, I won't stop you. Bellatrix is desperate to kill you and your loved ones. Don't expect kindness from me — I am a bad man."
Albus asked, "Are you a good person?"
"No," Dagger replied. He called his wolf, Dim, to guard Albus. Dim growled at him, and Dagger instructed, "Don't hurt him unless he tries to escape. Don't injure him either." Then he shut the door, leaving Albus crying but safe.
Albus thought of James, Rose, and Scorpius. "Where are you, James? When will you come and save me?" He drank and ate, recalling how Dagger had stopped Bellatrix, given him food, and protected him. Though Dagger's words were harsh, Albus felt he was, in some way, a good man.
Meanwhile, James, Rose, and Scorpius packed their bags, preparing to begin their mission: to end Bellatrix, Peter Pettigrew, and Dagger, uncover Voldemort's secrets, and defeat him once and for all.
