IN HOGWARTS,
In Hogwarts, Harry Potter sat with his friends Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Neville Longbottom, Draco, Astoria, Professor Minerva McGonagall, and Miss Amelia. The atmosphere around them felt heavy and uncertain. Harry finally broke the silence.
"Why did James ask us to search for Dumbledore's diary? I'm happy that everyone is safe… but why did he say Dagger is innocent? He stabbed me, attacked me, helped Voldemort. Is it a trap? If it is, then we need to protect our kids from danger."
Ron leaned forward and said, "YES. We'll go to our kids and stop Dagger from backstabbing them."
But Hermione shook her head. "I don't think James is a fool to trust Dagger. If James said Dagger is innocent, then he must be. James is smart and sensible. His words may be right and he told dagger is innocent there would be a reason and story behind them. I believe in James."
Harry argued back, frustration rising. "Had you forgotten? Dagger attacked me and injected poison. He is dangerous!"
Hermione fell silent for a moment but still tried to reason. "But Harry—"
Miss Amelia stepped between them firmly. "Enough. James is right. Dagger is innocent. We must search for Dumbledore's diary."
Harry, Neville, and Ron looked at her in disbelief. "How do you know?"
Miss Amelia took a deep breath. "Because Dagger was one of Dumbledore's most trusted students. He is the guardian of ancient secrets."
Everyone froze in shock.
Harry whispered, "What are you talking about? Did you know this for long?"
"Yes, Harry," Miss Amelia said softly. "He is a good person. And he was also Hagrid's best friend. You can ask him."
All eyes turned to Hagrid. He remained silent for a moment, then spoke in a trembling voice. "Yes… he was my friend. And I am angry at him. Because his silence forced me to leave Hogwarts. He didn't say a word when I was accused. He didn't defend me. I can't forget that moment. And after I left Hogwarts, he never met me again. Later, I heard he died in a fire at his ancestral home."
Tears filled Hagrid's eyes as he sat heavily on a chair.
Harry touched Hagrid's shoulder gently. Hagrid continued, "I was deeply hurt. I felt betrayed again. I decided never to forgive him."
Miss Amelia stepped closer to Hagrid and said, "Hagrid… Dagger is Voldemort's cousin."
Hagrid shot up. "WHAT? What do you mean?"
"It means Tom Riddle and Dagger are cousins."
Everyone gasped loudly.
Miss Amelia continued. "Dumbledore knew this for years. Dagger did everything he could to protect you all and every one from Tom. He carried a huge responsibility. Tom was obsessed with power, immortality, and dark arts. He wanted to rule over everyone and turn Hogwarts into his playground of evil. Dagger worked as a double agent for Dumbledore from the day he joined Hogwarts."
She paused. "And the truth is… Dagger is the real heir of Salazar Slytherin."
Shocked silence filled the room.
Miss Amelia continued. "Voldemort only has a maternal connection to Slytherin. But David Slytherin—Salazar's son—was a pure-hearted man who shared the goodness of his grandfather Seraphine Slytherin."
She took a breath. "Do you know? David killed Salazar Slytherin for the sake of peace."
Everyone's eyes widened.
"I need to tell you the real history," she said.
"Everyone thinks Salazar Slytherin left Hogwarts because he disagreed with the others. But the truth is more darker. Salazar became jealous and fell into dark magic evil obsession. He experimented on muggle-borns. He grew enraged when the other founders accepted muggle-born students and restricted him from using dark magic and stopping him from insulting muggle borns."
Miss Amelia continued, "Salazar discovered that the true protection of Hogwarts lay in his family's purple-black gem stone. It held the powers of his ancestors. But his family had no idea where it was."
"Godric Gryffindor guarded the gem stone. He promised his father that it would never fall into the wrong hands."
A magical battle had happened then—Godric against Salazar. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw supported Godric. Gryffindor won. Instead of killing Salazar, he banished him.
But before leaving, Salazar vowed, My heirs or future family will finish what I couldn't. I will return through them. This is only the beginning.
In response, the three founders swore that if darkness returned, all Hogwarts houses would unite and rise again with ancient powers. Even Slytherin students would someday join the unity. Hogwarts would always destroy evil.
Salazar left for Europe with his family. Years later, consumed by revenge, he awakened the dark spirit Varkon Black Shade—the dark evil man got killed by ancestors of creators of Hogwarts - Aldric Gryffindor, Helian Hufflepuff, Selene Ravenclaw, and Seraphine Slytherin. Varkon was connected by blood and also relative to Seraphine.
Salazar created a diary that became a powerful spell book. Varkon's spirit was trapped near the Slytherin gem stone where it got hidden. Salazar wanted to free him.
David, who admired Gryffindor deeply, discovered his father's plans and wrote to Godric using his owl. Godric tried to destroy the spell book after knowing, but Varkon whispered through dreams, trying to possess Salazar again. because Varkon spirit didn't completely trapped and when Salazar performed dark magic on Varkon blade which Varkon used to kill people who goes against him. The blade sword got created by Varkon magic. Salazar Slytherin got that weapon and performed dark magic on it and it started to affect Salazar Slytherin. Listening to Varkon thoughts, getting his dreams and all.
Salazar Slytherin slowly started to change into Varkon Black Shade.
With no choice, Godric fought Salazar. Godric won. But Salazar declared he would return through his bloodline to destroy Hogwarts.
David then used the Gryffindor Sword—containing a fragment of the red diamond—and killed his own father to save the school. The sword was incomplete because the main red diamond remained hidden, but even the small part had immense power in Gryffindor Sword.
David punished himself. He vowed never to return to Hogwarts. He would live in the human world, refuse all inheritance, and hide the truth forever.
Godric cried hearing David's noble words. David took a promise from him to protect Hogwarts' future.
Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the others had tears in their eyes as they listened.
Harry whispered, "What happened later?"
Miss Amelia replied, "David died in an accident. Godric tried to destroy Salazar's spell book but couldn't. With Rowena's help, Varkon was trapped again his presence near the purple-black stone. The founders hid their gem stones and gave the map to Miss Mirael."
"But fearing danger, Rowena put Miss Mirael in a deep sleep. Only a pure-hearted soul can awaken her. Dumbledore searched for her but never found her."
"Dagger is David's great-grandson. His family kept the secrets for generations. Dagger knew Tom was evil. Tom's brother Evan was weak and often bullied by Tom. Dagger, a Gryffindor, hid his powers and protected the secrets of the founders."
"Dumbledore sent Dagger away because Voldemort was wanting for immortality through the gem stones. Dagger pretended to die in a fire accident so Tom wouldn't hunt him."
Because Tom may get doubt that Dagger is the original heir to Salazar Slytherin and Tom always wanted to get things that belong to his ancestors.
Tom Riddle is even jealous of Dagger for his intelligence, magic spell power and his deep respect which he got in Quidditch matches and gaining more marks in dark arts.
Thinking Tom who turned into Voldemort will change Dagger and secrets may come out and could know Voldemort. Dumbledore sends Dagger away from magical world.
Every one believed Dagger is died in an fire accident.
To reach the map and wanted to open it. "The main important thing is map key"
"The map key was passed down: from David… to David's family… and then to Dagger."
Now the key is with Dagger
"And my great-grandfather was also a guardian. He shared the secrets with Dumbledore."
She finished softly, "If James asked you to find Dumbledore's diary, an important message must be inside."
Harry and the others were deeply moved. Hagrid wiped his tears.
Harry Potter says "Dagger is a Great Man"
Harry asked him gently, "Hagrid, what happened?"
Hagrid said, heartbroken, "I feel bad for misunderstanding Dagger."
Harry smiled warmly. "Dagger is a great man. He will forgive you. Help us in the battle, Hagrid."
Hagrid's eyes lit with determination. "I will give my life to save Hogwarts."
